Chapter Six

 

Joanna: *yawn* I'm typing this at 7:00 in the morning… *yawn*

Seto: It's 9:00! Only half an hour left before the ship leaves!!

Mokuba: WHAT?

 

Serenity: Hurry up then!

 

Seto: I'm trying, I'm trying!

 

Tristan: Oh God…what if we don't make it??

 

Seto: It's 9:15!

 

Bakura: That means we only have 15 more minutes! HURRY UP!

 

Seto: *driving at top speed* I see the dock!

 

Allister: Whew…we made it!

 

Everyone: *climbs out of the van and runs over to where the ship is*

 

Ship: *sails away*

 

Tea: COME BACK MY FRIENDS! COME BACK!

 

Ship: *getting further away*

 

Joey: I knew it…we missed da boat `cause moneybags here doesn't know how ta drive!

 

Seto: *menacing look*

 

Duke: COME BACK SHIP!!! *dives into the water with his luggage and tries to swim after the boat*

 

Yugi: O_o GET BACK HERE DUKE!

 

Yami: Wait, the name of that boat was the `Ocean Princess.' We're looking for the `Ocean Cruiser.'

 

Yugi: *checks ticket thingy* Ooh! You're right.

 

Valon: There she is mates!

 

Tristan: Who? *looks around for the `girl'*

 

Valon:-_- The boat, dumbass. *points do boat to the right*

 

Ryou: He's right! DUKE! WRONG SHIP! OUR SHIP IS STILL HERE!

 

Seto: Not for long…it's 9:25 now. It's taking off in five minutes. You'd better get Duke.

 

Duke: *starts to drown* HELP!!!

 

Yugi: *jumps in random speedboat, gets Duke, and speeds back* Got him!

 

Kat: So we see.

 

Dartz: Let's go, my children! The boat leaves soon!

 

Everyone: *charges over to where they had to line up to get onto the boat*

 

Ticket checkers: o_O O_o

 

Everyone: *stampede past*

 

Inside the ship

 

Yugi: Ok everyone. We're all on the Tropical Deck. That's…the second level down. Let's go!

 

Once everyone got there, there was a bit of arguing over who goes into which room with whom. In the end, Tea was by herself, all the hikaris were with their yamis, Mai, Ishizu, and Serenity shared a cabin, Mokuba and Kaiba got a suite since they bribed one of those ship working people, Dartz and Raphael shared a room, Allister and Valon shared a room, and Joey, Tristan, and Duke shared a room.

 

Mai: I did want to sunbathe a bit, but seeing as someone didn't know how to read a map…*glares at Marik*

 

Marik: *whistles innocently*

 

Terra: Let's go to a club!

 

Seto: We have a 10 year old here, need I remind you?

 

Terra: Ooh. I forgot.

 

Seto: I know.

 

Terra: >.<*

 

Kat: Hey, let's go to an arcade!

 

Mokuba: Good idea.

 

After everyone dumped their things in their respective rooms, they all met in the hall.

 

Yugi: Where is the arcade?

 

Aeris: *checks wall, which has a map on it* The closest ones are on this deck and the decks below and above.

 

Malik: Let's go to the one on this deck then.

 

Everyone walked over to the arcade, where Joey, Tristan, Duke, and Mokuba promptly began playing games. The arcade was surprisingly not that crowded. Other people were most likely still settling in.

 

Kat: Hey look! Karaoke! *runs over*

 

Everyone besides Joey, Tristan, Duke, and Mokuba: *follow*

 

Kat: *flipping through songs* Oh! Here's a good one! `Because of You' by Kelly Clarkson! *turns music up and starts singing*

 

 

Ooo, ooo, oooo. I will not make the same mistakes that you did.

I will not let myself cause my heart so much misery.

I will not break away; you did, you fell so hard.

I've learned the hard way, to never let it get that far.

 

Because of you, I never stray too far from the sidewalk.

Because of you I learned to play on the safe side so I don't get hurt. Because of you I find it hard to trust not only me but everyone around me.

I lose my way, and it's not too long before you point it out.

I cannot cry because you know that's weakness in your eyes.

I'm forced to fake a smile, a laugh every day of my life.

My heart can't possibly break when it wasn't even whole to start with.

Yugi: That was…

 

Duke: Awesome!

 

Mokuba: Great!

 

Bakura: Sexy.

 

Kat: *wink* Thanks.

 

Joey: *stops playing video games and walks over* Hmph. I can do betta. *goes up on the stage/platform* Hey, dis is a good song! *starts singing `Welcome to My Life' off-key'

 

Do you eva feel like breakin' down?

Do you eva feel outta place?

Like somehow you just don't belong,

And no one understands you?

 

 

That was the furthest Joey got, before:

 

Seto: BOOO MUTT! Get off the stage! *throws a tomato* (a/n What? I thought it'd be funny if he did that! ^^;)

 

Duke: *walks over and starts chant* YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!

 

Tristan: *starts his own chant* GET OFF THE STAGE! GET OFF THE STAGE! GET OFF THE STAGE!

 

Everyone else: BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!

 

Joey: Aw come on guys! I didn't even finish yet!

 

Everyone: GET OFF!

 

Joey: Ok, ok, sheesh. *walks off*

 

Arcade manager dude: It's 10:30! Time for me to close up now kids. Remarkable performance young lady.

 

Kat: Thanks.

 

Arcade manager dude: You might need to work on your singing young man.

 

Joey: *face is red* >.<*

 

Everyone: *walks out*

 

Mai: Good night guys.

 

Yugi: Let's go swimming tomorrow together!

 

Ishizu: Yeah, in the top deck!

 

Raphael: Sure, why not.

 

Yugi: Ok, tomorrow 9:00 let's meet for breakfast, then we can go swim at 10:00. Is that good with everyone?

 

Everyone: *answering at different and random times* Yeah. Sure. Cool.

 

After everyone bade each other goodnight, they made their way to their cabins.

Midnight

 

Kat, who hadn't fallen asleep at all, checked her watch. Perfect, it was midnight: a great time to put her plan into action. She crawled under her bunk and grabbed her suitcase. She pulled out a feather and another object and crept out of the room.

 

Outside in the corridor, the only source of light was the soft glow of the lamp attached to the wall.

 

Kat put on her slippers so that her feet wouldn't make a noise. Then, she tiptoed over to Yugi and Yami's room. Their room was at the end of the hallway, while hers was at the beginning, so she had to be extra quiet. She didn't want anyone to catch her outside right now.

 

Bakura: *opens door of his cabin* Where're you going?

 

Kat: *squeak* Where'd you come from?

 

Bakura: Right here. This is my cabin remember?

 

Kat: *still breathing fast* How'd you know I was here?

 

Bakura: I was a thief before. I can hear better than other people. It helped me a lot when I was robbing tombs.

 

Kat: Oh. What are you doing anyway?

 

Bakura: What are you doing?

 

Kat: I asked you first.

 

Bakura: I asked you first when I opened the door.

 

Kat: No, I did.

 

Bakura: No, I did.

Kat: I did.

 

Bakura: I did.

 

Kat: Shut up. Ok, but if I tell you, you have to help me out ok?

 

Bakura: Sure.

 

Kat: I have to get into Yami's room. And…I want to have a bit of fun with him. *grins slyly*

 

Bakura: I'll be right back. *disappears back inside his cabin, but reappears a moment later holding a paper clip*

 

Kat: Oh, good idea! We'll need that for unlocking his door.

 

Both: *tiptoe to Yugi and Yami's cabin*

 

Bakura, being the crafty thief he his, picked the lock within a few seconds. They stole inside, quietly shutting the door behind them. Kat took her bottle of whipped cream, which was the second item she took from her suitcase, and opened the cap. She gestured for Bakura to bind Yugi and gag him so that if he should wake, he couldn't interfere. Bakura obliged, and Kat went on with her `job.'

 

She shook the can a few times and sprayed a glob in Yami's hand. Then she took her feather and tickled Yami's nose with it. Instinctively, Yami itched his nose, streaking it with whipped cream in the process. Kat stifled a giggle and squeezed another glob in his hand, while tickling his cheek.

 

Kat continued this process, tickling a bit of Yami each time. She even tickled his nostril. When she finished half an hour later, Yami resembled a very deranged snowman with whipped cream up his nostrils.

 

Yugi hadn't wakened at all, due to the fact that Bakura also decided to plug his ears with pieces of cotton he found in the bathroom. Together, he and Kat walked out again and into their own cabins.

 

Kat: *whispering* Thanks for your help.

 

Bakura: Anytime, sexy.

 

Kat: *wink wink* See you tomorrow…
