"Ah… Ahh…" A sharp scream pierced the dark atmosphere, echoing as it rebounded off the damp walls of the chilly cavern.

It had come from a young boy barely pushing fifteen, about half way into his freshmen year at high school. His long, dove white hair came to about his mid-back, and soft brown eyes glittered with firery tears. His long, pale, thin arms were chained high above his head, as he lean naked and shivering against the cold, moist wall.

An almost identical male ground his hips into his lap, pearly white teeth nipping at the scared boy's ear lobe. The only thing that defined him from the slightly smaller male was his sharper, more menacing features, a few extra inches in height, and a little more muscle gripping bone.

Long, strong digits traced the younger male's side from hip to shoulder, exploring his every curve and contour, taunting and teasing his innocent, untainted mind. "Ya…Yami…Please…stop…" the smaller boy's British voice was a whisper in volume, though his obvious fear and discomfort rang clearly like a dinner bell to a starving dog. This only caused his Yami to nip harder as his lobe, his breath burning the sensitive ear.

"Onegai…Kami, Onegai! Let me go!" a few crystalline tears fell from pleading brown eyes and painted his pale cheeks, trickling from his face finally at the underside of his chin.

"Damaru! Hush my little Hikari…" his Yami purred lightly against his ear, reverberating across his skin and playing over his cheeks. "My innocent little Ryou.." He thrust his hips roughly against the smaller pair once more, larger thighs straddling his smaller form. Yami Bakura lowered his lips to his Hikari's throat, ghosting kisses across his neck and to his collarbone. Ryou gave a short whimper as he tugged roughly on his restraints. Oh kami…if he could only get away. But then where would he go? Even if he did the spirit of his millenium item would possess him again, just to get him right where he wanted so he could separate into two physical beings once more and continue. The thing was, his Yami loved the chase and he knew it too. Whenever he tried to get away from his Yami, he could feel his darker side's lust for him. He could feel the way he enjoyed taunting him. How he loved hurting him, abusing him… this.

Yami Bakura's hands lowered to his bottom, tracing the indentation where his two, small globes met. "IIE!!! NO Yami!!! Not this time…please I'll do whatever it is you want, I'll behave, I'll obey, just I'm begging you…this one time…" Ryou sobbed and begged in vain, tossing his head from side to side, rattling up a storm as the shackles fought to hold him to the wall. A sharp pain came swiftly across his cheek; a rosy, stinging mark the shape of a hand tinting his phantom white cheeks.

"Silence little wretch! This little act hasn't worked before. Do you really think it will work this time?" He bit down roughly on one of his reddened buds that had turned pebble under the cold draft of the cavern, drawing forth stiffled whimper from his reincarnate's lips. "You are mine, do you hear me?" There was a long pause before Ryou finally responded with a silent nod of his head, more tears staining his cheeks.

"Good…" Yami Bakura murmured lightly before sliding a long digit roughly into his tight entrance; sphincter contracting around his joint. His other hand worked it's way between his thighs, separating and spreading the bony, pale thighs of his counterpart. Ryou tilted his face to the ceiling of the cavern, his eyes wide open, lips pursed, body shivering from the cold as well as the revolting touch of the spirit.

"Mm such a pretty little boy…" he withdrew from the bud, a string of saliva attaching his bottom lip to the small, pale chest. "Such innocence…" He kissed a trail down his belly, stopping momentarily at his navel to swirl his tongue into the little hole. "Such corruption…" he worked down to his hips, inserting a second digit into the cavity, while other fingers centered on the length between little Ryou's legs, tracing the piece of flesh from base to tip. "All mine. Every bit of it!" he yanked his fingers from his hikari's entrance and slipped his arms beneath the bend of Ryou's legs, scooping them up so his little rear slid forward and revealed his red, puckered entrance to him. His yami steadied himself between his legs, ready to plunge forward and enter his smaller self.

"Bakura! Bakura are you in here?!" a youthful, worried voice called in the distance, echoing through the many corridors of the cavern, footsteps a soft, even rhythm as they rapped against cool, drafty stone.

"K'so! Baka Yugi…looks like we will have to put this on hold and finish later, wont we little Ryou…". With that, he entered the millenium ring once more, the five golden pendants hanging in symmetry from the ancient-Egyptian artifact jingling and rattling as a faint glow grew and then died out just as quickly as it had came, leaving little Ryou alone once more. A short boy appeared, panting, at the mouth of the cavern, staring with wide eyes at the broken angel chained to the wall. "Oh no…Bakura!" He hurried over to his friend, scooping a key off the ground that had been tossed there much earlier by the evil spirit. He quickly unlocked the shackles and caught his friend in a tight, warm embrace as Ryou tumbled forwards.

Ryou's teeth chattered quietly from the cold and from the fear as he buried himself deep into Yugi's arms, more tears falling from his soft, brown eyes. "Oh Yugi! It hurts so bad Yugi…I feel so…so…"

Small, equally innocent fingers ran through his long white hair as his friend comforted him, pulling him close. "Shh I'm here now Bakura. You're safe. But first, we should get you out of here and warm you up! You must be freezing. Even I'm cold and I'm wearing a jacket…" His eyes lit up a moment and he quickly settled Bakura against the wall as he pulled off his jacket and wrapped it around Bakura's shoulders. "There now…is that any better?" he pulled Ryou against him once more as his friend nodded faintly.

"Hey, Yami, could you give me a hand?"

Yugi's millenium puzzle glowed and shook as a tender, but strong voice came forth, "Of course Yugi. What is it you need?" The pharaoh, much like Bakura and his Yami, was near identical to Yugi aside from standing over a head taller than him, his deeper and more masculine voice, and a slight difference in the porcupine-like hair.

"Could you help me get Bakura home?" Yugi looked up at him with big violet eyes, tainted with worry about his friend. Yami nodded softly.

"Of course Yugi." He smiled softly to his hikari then knelt down and reached out for Bakura, carefully lifting him into his arms and leaning the smaller form against his chest as he stood. "Well then, let's get out of here." He gestured towards the mouth of the cave and began to walk in that direction.

"Right!" Yugi stood quickly and ran up along side Yami, shivering lightly and rubbing his hands up and down his arms to try and warm up. "Jeez Bakura! It's a wonder if you don't have hypothermia…"

Ryou settled back into the warm, soft couch and pulled the thick quilt close to his body. Yami had carried him into Mr. Moto's home above the card-shop and let him rest on the couch while yugi searched for a pair of pajamas big enough for Ryou to fit into. Luckily, Yugi found an old pair that his grandfather had given him that were a little baggy, and even slightly on bakura, but at least they were warm and comfortable, and made him feel less exposed. His eyes fluttered closed as Yugi settled a warm mug of hot cocoa in his hands, which he pulled close to his slightly shivering body, but mainly now from the trauma rather then cold. Yugi sat down beside him and Ryou could feel his skin prickling under his gaze. After a moment, Ryou finally looked up to meet it and give him permission to ask a question that he so obviously had stored away.

There was a short pause before Yugi finally parted his lips and began to speak, "it was your Yami, wasn't it?" Bakura winced softly at the mention of his spirit and Yugi quickly continued, about to stand to leave, "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have asked-"

"It's alright. Please stay, Yugi. I don't want to be alone…" Yugi turned back to look at him sincerely before nodding lightly and returning to his seat on the couch. "I'm the one who should be apologizing… for causing you so much trouble…"

"Don't talk like that Bakura! That's what friend's are for. Someone was hurting you and I heard you scream, and I came to help you…I don't want to see you hurt…We'll get you through this. It's my promise!" he gave his friend an encouraging smile which Ryou tried to return but found it too difficult, and tried to hide oncoming tears by lifting the warm mug of cocoa to his lips and taking a sip.

"Ahh haught haught!" he stuck out his tongue and waved his hand in front of his mouth. Yugi smiled faintly and reached for the mug, lifting it from his hands and setting it on a lamp table beside the couch.

"Sorry Bakura, it's a little hot, I should have warned you. It will cool down in a few minutes…" he paused again before continuing, "is there anything I can do to make you feel better?"

Bakura shook his head, a few wisps of long, white hair falling to frame his cheeks. "No… I just need some rest…"

Yugi nodded. "Would you like me to leave you alone?"

Ryou quickly shook his head, frowning a bit more, "No! I mean…I don't want to be alone…I know it's a lot to ask but can you stay here and make sure my Yami doesn't…well you know…"

Yugi nodded sympathetically as he once more took his seat on the couch, a little further towards the end though to give Ryou room to spread out. There was a long, un-comforting silence before Yugi finaly decided to speak up, "Bakura, are you sure you are going to be alright?"

Ryou smiled softly to his life long friend and reached up to gingerly tuck back a few long tendrils of angel-white hair. "I'll make it through the night, if that's what you mean Yugi. Don't worry about it, I'll be fine." And with that, he lowered onto his side, letting those soft brown eyes fall closed while tense muscles relaxed. He was warm now and with his best friend, which temporarily made his pain feel irrelevant.

Ryou woke early the next morning under the calm glare of the sunlight that shone off his milky white cheeks, and the chitter of birds sang sweet stories of their glees and freedom to sore against a warm breeze, and amongst gold beads of fluttering sunlight. It only took a moment for the young teen to remember where he was and what had happened the night before, the memories slowly dulling into his long term memory and being smoothed over by the calm and serenity of the dawn. Though, one thing he noticed in the corner of his eye bugged him.

"Ohayo, Ryou…" a soft, sleepy voice welcomed him realistically as Bakura took notice of the young, tri-color haired boy that sat so near him.

It suddenly dawned on him in a much harsher reality then the morn, Yugi had actually stayed awake all night long just to watch and protect him. Ryou-bakura took in a sharp breath. "Kami-sama Yugi, you didn't stay awake all night just to look over me did you? Onegai, say you didn't"

Yugi smiled faintly to hide his exhaustion. "Bakura, I promised you I would, and so I did."

Bakura just frowned, and tried to argue, "Baka yugi-kun. I didn't mean you had…" he paused and then smiled faintly. "Gomen nasai, arigato. You need sleep though. Please try and get some."

The smaller teen nodded in response, murmuring a soft "arigato" before drifting off into a silent slumber. Ryou stood up and leaned forward to his friend, placing a feather soft kiss against little Yugi Moto's forehead. "Sleep well tenshi…" he murmured in a voice soft enough that Yugi wouldn't awaken and his Yami wouldn't pick up on. Which reminded him.

"Yami?" he spoke softly, directing his voice to the millenium puzzle that hung loosely around Yugi's neck, tilted to the side of his chest as the smaller boy slept. The puzzle glowed faintly and, much the way one could imagine a spirit would detach from their corpse, Yami drifted from the smaller form and took a stance beside Bakura.

"Ryou? Is something bothering you?" There was a bit of concern in the older pharaoh's words.

Bakura just smiled lightly. "No, nothing at all. Just…could you tell Yugi I'm sorry for leaving so abruptly? I need to take a walk so that I can…think."

Yami smiled to the teen and nodded lightly. "Of course, Ryou. But might I ask you something?" he only continued once Ryou had nodded to him. There was a moment of silence before he continued, "You like Yugi, don't you." He spoke in a tender, delicate voice, much more like he was stating a fact than asking a question. It remained silent before Ryou turned to leave.

"I… I need to go. Talk to you later Yami, ja ne!" he quickly hurried from the room, leaving Yami standing alone in the room with the sleeping Yugi. He couldn't help but let a soft chuckle tumble from those soft, ageless lips. So it was true.
