*~Monday: December the Sixteenth~*

Christmas Day is nearing. It's Monday, December sixteen, Day 7. Today was gonna be another little field trip. A field trip to the ice rink. So it's ICE SKATING DAY!!! YAY!!! ^-^ Last night's performance may have been a total and complete disaster, but this day was gonna make up for it. The buses took the excited students to Domino Ice Rink and the school was paying for the rented ice skates.

"How do you stand on these things?!" Yami wobbled, trying to balance on his blades.

"You've never been roller blading have you?" Yugi asked, with his skates already on.

"Hnh! No, not really." Yami struggled to even stay on his two feet.

"Let's try going on the ice, maybe you'll get more used to them. You'll probably learn a little." Yugi started to walk over to the ice. "The rest of them are having fun there now."

"Well, alright." Yami warily followed Yugi out to the rink.

"C'mon." Yugi glided out and went to find his friends.

Yami started toward the rink and was about to put his foot down. "Alright, calm down. It's just ice. There's nothing bad about plain old ice. I mean, what could be so bad about ic-AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!!"

Yami bumped and knocked over several people as he glided swiftly across the ice.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!! Oof!" That's gotta hurt.>.< And that wall will probably cost a few bucks.

*~A Few Minutes Later~*

"Why don't you just grab onto the railing first." Yugi said.

"And when you're ready, maybe you'll be able to skate without the railing." Bakura said assuringly.

So, Yami spent about an hour skating around in circles, grasping the railing. He sighed. He was getting used to the skates since he was using the rail, but he wanted to have fun like the others. They were skating freely and made it look so easy. But to him it felt like he was never gonna learn how to do this.

"Hey Yami." a voice said from behind him. He quickly turned around. It was Téa, standing perfectly straight, while he was struggling to stand.

"Uh, hey Téa." Yami said nervously, trying to stand as erect as possible.

"Um, are you okay?" she asked.

"Oh, I'm just fine." Yami lied. He stumbled and tripped, but Téa manged to catch him and break his fall. He looked up at her and blushed. He quickly separated from her.

"Okay, maybe I do need a little help." Yami sighed.

"Would you like me to teach you?" she offered.

"Uh, well alright." Yami's face turned a brighter red.

"Okay then. Take my hand and we'll go out on the ice together." Téa reached out her hand. Yami held it tight.

"Alright, I'll go slow. It's almost like walking. You take little steps." Téa led Yami through the groups of people.

After about half an hour with her, Yami got more and more used to the ice.

"Okay, you used to the ice now?" Téa asked.

"A little." Yami said.

"Okay then. Is it okay for me to let go now?"

"Uh, well." Yami began.

"Okay!" Téa let go of her grip of Yami's hand and he amazingly kept his balance.

"See, you're a whole lot better than earlier. Now you try skating on your own, and I'll go around the rink."

Yami glided slowly around the ice, now a lot better than before.

"Hey Yami, I see you've already got your skating legs." Yugi skated along side him.

"Yes, thanks to Téa." Yami said, blushing.
