Yu-Gi-Oh! Fan Fiction ❯ The Best Christmas Ever! ❯ Day 8 ( Chapter 8 )
*~Tuesday: December the Seventeenth~*
Oooooh! It's almost Christmas! Today is Day 8, December the Seventeenth. Hope everybody likes cookies, cause today's gonna be BAKE DAY!!! YAY!!! ^-^ The students are gonna raid the cafeteria's kitchen and bake cookies. They're the snacks for the Christmas Dance on the Nineteenth. Well, at least if nobody eats them all before then.
"Mmmm! This tastes great!" Téa took a little taste of the cookie mix.
Everyone was busy mixing, heating, and decorating cookies for the dance on Thursday. There was laughing and talking as they decorated the gingerbread men.
"Here Yami, what do you think?" Téa gave him a chocolate cookie. (In case you didn't know, Yami getsEXTREMELY hyper when he eats chocolate.) Obviously, Yami didn't know what the cookie was made out of, so he decided to try it.............................................
*~A Few Minutes Later~*
"Okay, so how are we gonna explain the broken window, the busted fan, the 3 legged table, the little hole in the cieling, the dented vending machine, the cracked light bulbs, the-" Joey listed all the things that Yami sort of ruined.
"ALRIGHT!! I get it! I'm sorry!" Yami yelled out.
"Who's bright idea was it to give Yami chocolate anyway?!" a senior said.
"Well, how was I supposed to know Yami gets all hyper when he eats chocolate!!" Téa argued.
"Oh, and he also made a few holes in the wall too. Oh yeah and he ran into a few people." Joey continued with the long list.
"Not to mention he also broke the handle off of one of the doors." Tristan added.
"Uh, excuse me can we please get back to the baking? Cookies can't make themselves you know." Mai said.
"But we're gonna have to use only one stove." Bakura said.
"Why?" Téa asked.
"The other one's broken." he said, glancing at Yami.
"I said I was sorry already." Yami mumbled.
Then there was a moment of silence.
"Okaay, so......who's gonna explain all this to the principal?" Joey yelled out.
"Why don't you if you're wondering so much?" a senior said irritably.
"What are you talkin' about?" he asked. "The principal's not here."
"Oh yes, she is." the senior said pointing to the window. The principal was indeed there, on her way to the cafeteria to see how her students were doing.
There was a moment of silence, then......................
"AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!" the students panicked. They ran all over the place trying to hide all the things that got ruined. There was screaming and yelling and the principal was getting ever so nearer.
"Everybody don't panic! We can hide all this before the principal even opens that door." Yugi called out.
"Are you kidding me kid?! We'll never be able to hide all this in time!" a junior protested.
"Yes we will! Just follow my lead. I have a plan."
*~From Outside~*
"Gee, I wonder how my little elves are doing with those cookies." the principal chuckled cheerfully as she opened the door.
"Ah, Mrs. Parkington. Welcome." Yugi greeted as he stood at a little podium, wearing a tux.
The cafeteria didn't look like a cafeteria anymore. It looked like some five star fancy restaurant. Nice table cloths that reached the floor covered the tables. Lovely curtains covered the windows. There were candles on the tables. From the center of the ceiling hung a beautiful chandelier. The boys were all wearing tuxedos and the girls wore pretty long ball gowns. Some wore white blouses, black pants or skirts, black bowties, and black shoes; they looked like waiters and waitresses.
"Uh......." the principal had a confused look on her face.
"Please sit down our dear principal. We hope our cookies will please you." a senior said as she pulled out a chair so the principal could sit.
*~Half an Hour Later~*
"Thank you students, those were very good cookies. They're gonna be great at your dance on Thursday. Good bye." the principal opened the door and left.
The kids sighed in relief. They clapped their hands twice and all the formal and fancy stuff returned to its original broken stuff.
"Who knew that there was a special system to change the look of the cafeteria." Tristan said amazed.
"Oh, the janitors use it because they're too lazy to clean the cafeteria." Yugi said.
