*~Wednesday: December the Eighteenth~*

Christmas is ever so near! It's now Day 9! Today was a special day. Today the members of the dance theatre were gonna perform The Nutcracker. It's NUTCRACKER DAY!!! YAY!!! ^-^

All lot of the kids were in the halls dressing up and tying their shoes. The girls were busy putting on their makeup. In the auditorium, techies were setting up the lights and the curtains. The other students were in the seats, going to watch the show. Little kids from different schools were there to watch too. It was so cute to see the kids get scared of the rats. But among those little kids was Mokuba Kaiba and Rebecca Hawkins. Seto Kaiba was there too with Serenity Wheeler and Grampa Mutoh.

"I hope this one's not a disaster like last Friday's performance." Mokuba whispered.

"Well keep hoping, cause I ain't givin' you any more of my money." Rebecca said.

The party scene was the start of the whole thing. Everyone watched as the little girls danced with their dolls, led by Clara, who was dancing with her beloved nutcracker.

Then the show continued with the battle scene between the rats and the toy soldiers. The little children screamed and let out small cries as the rats ran down the aisles. The crowd watched in anitcipation as the Nutcracker fought with the 5 headed Rat King.

Then after that was the scene where Clara and the Nutcracker were dancing through the snow. They danced gracefully in the shining blue light. After their dance, came the snowflakes, led by their beautiful Snow Queen. The show came to halt with a fifteen minute intermission.

"So far, so good. There's no curse over this show." Mokuba said relieved.

"I wanna be a ballerina when I grow up." Rebecca said hopeful.

"I thought you wanted to be the greatest duelist ever." Mokuba said.

"You mean I'm not already?" Rebecca said sarcastically.

"Ssshh, the intermission's over." The lights started to dim and the curtains opened to reveal a new background. The Land of Sweets. Clara and the Nutcracker had finally arrived and Clara was treated extra special, kinda like members of royalty. The Land of Sweets were very hospitable toward their guests. Then suddenly, a bunch of different sweets and desserts came over and danced for their guest. There was:

Chocolate from Spain

Coffee from Arabia

Tea from China

Trepak from Russia

Marzipan from Europe

There was also Mother Ginger and the Ginger Children. Pretty pink flowers and green frogs danced for Clara.

Then came the ruler of the Land of Sweets. The one in charge of the kingdom. The one running the whole show. My friends I am talking about the Sugar Plum Fairy!!! Téa danced wonderfully, like she did during the sleepover at the school. Everyone watched as she banished Bitter Chocolate from her kingdom.

The ballet was nearly over. The Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier were dancing their Pas De Deux. Téa and a boy from the dance theatre club danced with such grace and beauty. It was just so amazing.

*~From the Seats~*

"What's the matter Yami? You jealous?" Mai asked dramatically. She had noticed Yami's disgrutled expression when the scene started.

He didn't say anything, but he was blushing a really bright red.

*~The Ballet~*

The ballet ended with the Ending Waltz and the Apotheosis. It was an absolutely wonderful performance. No scenery falling, no one fell into the audience, no lights going out, no curtains coming down. Everything was perfect.
