Summary: My specialty: PWPs with a plot that binds them together. ^^; Seto finally finished his VR Game and the gang is asked to do a final test run. Little do they know though about the little quirks Kaiba has prepared for them.

Notes&Comments: Yes peeps, you have to fear for Jou's ass. *nods* Why else do you think I've been telling you about the tentacles? Not in this chapter though, but the next will be a little... juicier... *licks lips*

"Ch'... I can't believe you didn't even want to try a piece of that cat's chest," Katsuya's monster sighed as they exited the little tavern they had just spent all of their money in. "It was so sweet and mellow... Oh, I could have another one of that!"

The blond grumbled something in response, but was too busy trying not to puke over the thought of eating cats... or watching that guy eat five helpings of cat meat. Plus it ticked him off that they now had no possibility to buy new cards, which could have been quite useful in situations like these... when you had nothing but a self-opinionated Harpie's Brother to protect you.

Said being had his hands crossed behind his head, staring into the sky as they walked back into the forest. He sighed out loud and then turned to look at Jounouchi, seeming as if he wanted to make another remark but reconsidered it with a worried frown. "Are you okay? You look kinda green in the face... and - no offense - but that doesn't look normal on you."

The blond glared, still not able to say anything without the inside of his stomach riding up the wrong direction of his throat. He swallowed, closed his eyes and took several deep steadying breaths.

"Hey? You're still with me?" Curious red eyes looked up at him through a black mask as he finally opened his eyes. Katsuya simply groaned.

"Yeah I am. Just... don't ever try to make me eat ...Something again... not within the next 2 years or something," he grumbled, still taking several deep breaths to calm his revolting stomach, but walked on nevertheless.

The other snorted. "You act as if there's a stick up your ass. Loosen up a little!" he said as he turned back into the direction they were heading.

Jou - who was by now used to his monster's little innuendos - grit his teeth, biting back a growl as he saw the shoulders that jerked in time with the barely hidden snickers of the beast.

"Stop making jokes on my costs! I am SO not in the mood for bantering!"

"But you're so cute when you're angry..."

"DON'T YOU DARE TO CALL ME CUTE!!!!"

Harpie's Brother stopped dead in his tracks and winced at the too loud voice that yelled into his ear. He turned around and stared wide-eyed at the blond, whose eyes were gleaming with a deadly sparkle. "Whoops?"

"First Kaiba, then Mai, then Otogi and now you! I swear the next one who DARES to call me cute has to pick up their balls from the gutter!"

Katsuya definitely had enough. He could live with the fact that he was called a dog in all kinds of variations, one more insulting than the other, that he was kicked around and made fun of. But that people kept calling him cute of all things, just so they'd get their kicks out of it, was making him sick, even more than having to eat cat meat.

'Uh-oh...'

Despite its high self-esteem, Harpie's Brother managed to be intimidated by the blond's eruption. But, there was something else that made it nervous... A strange sound from the distance... It turned its head, trying to make out the direction it was coming from.

"Hey! Are you even listening? I'm talking to you, birdman!"

"Sh!"

"Yeah, now you want me to be quiet! Who's been boasting around earlier, huh?"

Katsuya knew he was being childish, but he couldn't help it. The rebel in him came through every now and then, especially when he was pissed off.

"Could you please shut your trap?!" Harpie's Brother whispered nervously. Its hair was standing on end as it was trying to find out just WHAT he had heard. And Katsuya being so loud that even a deaf man could have heard him wasn't helping him in any way. "There are monsters out there!"

Katsuya snorted, momentarily forgetting about his general fear of giant loud and scary monsters and creepy situations like these. "Oh, Mr. I-killed-the-giant-pussycat is scared. I think I should be too, but..."

He stopped himself when he heard a loud agonized roar that vanished with a similar sound that the monster from earlier had made. Suddenly everything seemed to be different; the air was chillier, the ground seemed darker, the forest deeper... and Katsuya felt as if there was some cold ghost-like hand creeping up his spine. All color drained from his face and he froze where he stood. Then he started to scream.

Within less than the blink of an eye, Harpie's Brother was by his side and pressed its hand onto his mouth.

"Sh!!!" it hissed, trying to be as quiet as it could though. "Do you want it to find us, too?!"

Katsuya protested vociferously, but his laments only came out as muffled sounds of hot breath. Gathering that this would get him nowhere, he shook his head furiously, glaring at his monster.

"You promise you'll be quiet?"

Jounouchi nodded, blond strands dancing wildly, at which the monster hesitantly removed its hand.

"WHAT THE- hmpf!"

Harpie's Brother jumped at the loudness and cursed in his own language that sounded like pure hissing to Katsuya.

"Keep it down, will ya?!"

He glared at the beast, telling him with his eyes that he was going to be quieter from that moment on and waited until the hand was fully removed from his face before he dared to open his mouth again. Said hand jerked though when he started to whisper, but this time it stayed away from him.

"What the hell was that?! Sounded like a herd of elephants to me! VERY angry elephants!"

"I have no idea," the reply came. "But I think it's bigger than this pussy from earlier... and more dangerous."

'You didn't have to rub it in... I heard it myself,' Katsuya thought with a grumble as he noticed with growing worry that his monster showed more signs of excitement than fear as it walked into the direction of the noise.

"Hey! What'cha think you're doing?"

"I'm trying to find out WHAT that thing was and if I can defeat it," the monster shot back as it climbed over a bush, hiding behind the next one, Jou hot on its trail.

"You said it was more powerful than the Tiger... Don't you think it has more ATK than you do? IF it has... there's no way you can defeat it..." the blond whispered, suddenly worried over this guy. Somehow, he had developed a liking to it, despite its annoying antics.

The monster turned around and looked at him in disbelief. "You didn't bring any equipment with you?"

"Uh... yes, but..." Katsuya gave back, blushing a little.

"Well, that's great! You can use it! I can defeat anything with the right stuff!"

Dropping the topic immediately as it was concluded for the beast it resumed to sneak forward through the thicket. Jou was close to panicking, but he tried to relax and trust the heart of the cards, like Yugi did all the time. Maybe it might help him in this situation...

"Oh, shit!"

Katsuya bumped into the beast's back as it came abruptly to a halt. Wrinkling his nose because of the feathers, he tried not to sneeze so they wouldn't draw any unwanted attention from whatever being was behind the bushes. he peaked his head up, trying to see what was going on out there.

The first thing he saw were a few eggshells. The next thing a small little back and the third a red dragon with a chain around its neck, followed by a barely clad, obviously female monster. His heart gave a leap, delighted that he had found the first of his companions and jumped to his feet.

"MAI!"

But he didn't get very far. Tanned hands on his mouth and stomach stopped him, holding him back from every move he wanted to make. He was thrown back on the ground, struggling against the strong hold on him as he heard a faint hissing in his ear.

"Stay where you are, don't say a word and hope that they didn't hear you!"

Katsuya frowned at that, not understanding why he shouldn't join a friend when they were right in front of his eyes and doubled his efforts at struggling. But Harpie's Brother held him down mercilessly, easily overpowering him.

"Would you stay still?! They're going to hear the leaves rustling! And I so don't want my sisters to see me," the monster hissed, pressing the blond firmly against him where they were sitting crouched on the ground, the black-haired beast holding him firmly into place with his entire body, legs entangled with his, hands clasped tightly over his mouth and waist. Jounouchi struggled, trying to use his own body as a leverage to get out of the steel-like grip, but he only managed to rub against the muscled body behind him.

He stopped every movement and froze in surprise though as he heard a soft moan coming from behind him.

'What the...?!'

Uh... yeah. Update. One day after the last chapter. Can you tell I'm bored? My gf isn't near. *sniffs* Have to distract myself... *watches vids and writes the 4th chapter*
