RM: I'm sooo sorry for the late update. I've been busy this week failing tests but next week's spring break so I should be able to update then.
Bakura: Don't make promises you don't attend to keep.
Ryou: 0_0;; she promised me a thigh master.
RM: You have thighs?
Ryou: grrrrrrrr
RM: Did you just growl?
Ryou: attacks
Bakura: While those two are battling out I just wanna say that Ryou'sMistress265 does not own any character except for my counter part and I. And since she doesn't feel up to the fact that she has to write this in front of every chapter then this goes for the whole story. Thanks
RM: Oh… and this is dedicated to all of the people that reviewed. THANK YOU PEOPLE!

Chapter 5

For about an hour Marik sat there, not saying a word. He was thinking about what good things come from "The Dark Hole". He knew that the dark hole meant that all things, good and bad, would be destroyed in a single motion. If this were referring to Ryou then this could mean that something bad would happen and Ryou wouldn't be able to fight it off. Him and Bakura could possibly kill whoever dared to place their hands on their hikari's but they wouldn't be there to protect them.

Bakura wouldn't let it go. He shuffled the deck for what seemed like the millionth time but you can't tempt the fates; he kept getting the dark hole as the future. It seemed as if Bakura would cry if someone didn't do something fast. "Bakura," Marik whispered, not really having anything to say, "You felt it too, didn't you."

Bakura sniffed as the memory of last night came flooding to him.

***Flashback***

He was still awake, or so he thought he was, and he was holding Ryou. He stroked a white strip of hair from out of Ryou's face so he could get a better look at him. When he looked unto the pale figure but something was wrong. Ryou was always pale, ever since the day he was born but now he looked practically transparent. The moonlight, which usually made Ryou look like an angel, made his hikari look as if he had died yet returned to spend one last night in his lover's arms. Bakura was so shocked by this that he had to reach out and touch the boy just to make sure he was still there. He half expected Ryou to wake up and half expected his hand to go through the boy but none of that happened. He reached out and touch just to feel skin that was warm and comforting was now cold and clammy.

He turned Ryou around, not caring weather he woke him up him up or not. Ryou's lips were the color of blue you can only get after sucking on blue-raspberry taffy. Bakura touched his lips feeling for some life in it but there was none. He felt as if he had died right before but before Bakura could feel any grief Ryou moved and cuddled up closer to him. Surprised and scared Bakura moved his body to get a better look. Ryou's lips were no longer pale, but were a delicate shade of red. His skin had gained the limited color he already had and the breath had returned to the poor boys lifeless body.

"Bakura," the sleeping boy moaned in his sleep. He continued to move closer to his Yami. Realizing he had just slipped Ryou's covers off of him, being his only source of heat, Ryou was damn near freezing. It was cold in the middle of the night, this night specifically. Bakura scooped up his hikari into his arms, refusing to let go. "Bakura?" Ryou said again, this time conscious.

"Shhhhhh, hikari. Go back to sleep," Bakura said softly as he rocked his hikari back and forth. Soon after Ryou fell back into his dreamscape Bakura figured that he was just hallucinating and fell asleep too.

*** End of Flashback***

"You knew about this, didn't you? You knew that your hikari was in danger and now mine's is with him. I swear to Ra if ANYTHING happens to Malik I will kill you." Malik spoke in a dangerously low voice. Bakura didn't say anything in reply because he knew he was right. Malik would be with Ryou when they went home and if something did happen to Ryou
Malik would probably be hurt in the process. "What are we going to do?"

Finding his voice Bakura said, "We need to tell them that something' up. They're going to find out anyway."

"We can't tell them now, they're at school."

"Well, then we'll tell them when the come back, but one way or another we have to let them know."

"DON'T YOU THINK I KNOW THAT!" Marik yelled, surprising both Bakura and himself. "I'm sorry," he muttered but soon after that the tears that longed to fall from his eyes gave way and streamed down his face.

Bakura moved swiftly and scooped him up in his arms, "What if we don't tell them in time," Marik whispered in Bakura's pale blue shirt.

"School let's out in a couple of hours. What can happen?"

***A couple of hours later***

"BRING!" The school bell finally rang signaling freedom for Ryou and Malik. The two boys stepped out of the school both wanting to get home as soon as possible. While Malik was bent down, tieing his shoe, Ryou saw the boy he's been avoiding all day. Seto Kaiba was standing about five yards away from him talking on a cell phone.

Ryou wanted to look away but was too busy trying to sense some sort of evil within the boy with the help of his Millennium Item. The millennium ring was glowing but nothing came to him. 'So I guess it was just dream then,' he thought. The boy he was staring out finally got off of the phone. He was on his school uniform but for some reason it didn't look the way it did on other boys. It looked… cooler.

Sensing eyes on him Seto turned around to see Ryou's deep brown eyes glaring at him. "What?" he said half defensively, half threateningly. Ryou eyed him up and down before he came to a decision. He looked Kaiba once more in the eye before shacking his head, signaling the fact that he wasn't in the mood to argue. He had to show the rich S.O.B. that he wasn't afraid of him, even though he was.

"Ready to go?" Malik asked getting up. Ryou smiled and they both went home. Ryou glanced back at Kaiba, who was driving off in a red Mercedes in the opposite direction. Ryou shock his head laughing at himself that he was stupid enough to think that Kaiba would rape him.

A few blocks away from Ryou's house the two boys decided to part. They both had homework to do and they both knew that the other was going to be a distraction. In secret Ryou felt a bit nervous about walking all by himself but he kept repeating what Bakura said in his head. 'Dreams are just dreams and nightmares are just nightmares…'

He walked with a quick pace; glad it was still daytime. He was a few blocks from his house when he sensed something. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good either. It felt like somebody was giving him a message. He stopped in the middle of the sidewalk trying to get a better sense of what was going on. He stood there listening to nothing unparticular but for some reason he could tell what was being said.

It was… it was someone warning him about the future. Something about light being banished with dark. Ryou continued to listen to the frightening word when it suddenly became clear to him. "OH SHIT!" he yelled at the top of his voice

***Somewhere in the Shadow Realm***

"OH SHIT!" Kea yelled, jumping from the table. She walked over to Ania and slapped her as hard as she could {1}. Ania wasn't surprised.

"I had to tell him," she said calmly.

Kea growled, "I hope you know this is going to make it worse for him. Now if you don't mind I have to go fix your mistake," And with that she disappeared.

***Back in Domino**

He ran towards his house like a bolt of lightning. When he reached he yelled Bakura's name out but there was no response. "He must still be at Malik's house,"

He jetted out of the front door and made a b-line for Malik's house. However he only reached to the corner because he was snatched from his side and literally pulled into a darkened alley.

He struggled, trying to break out of the bigger man's grip but it was just too tight. He was dragged behind a large dumpster. "HELP" he yelled but he saw a toothy grin.

"No one can here or see you now," his attacker said to him. Ryou looked around in distress but was surprised when he saw he was no longer in the alley behind a dumpster.

"Where am I," he croaked in a frightened whisper.

His attacker smiled again and brought their face into the dim light. A he suspected, it was indeed Seto Kaiba, but something was wrong. His eyes were brown now and he looked a bit possessed. It was almost as if this were his Yami. "How can it be? You don't have a millennium item, Kaiba"

Seto smiled and brought his face down to Ryou's ear. "Who said I was Seto Kaiba?"

{1} No the person who Kea is based on is not a cruel sadistic bitch, but she is a person who steals people's I.D. card. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

A/N- I know something you don't know! : D
