Yami is trying to get inside the castle and is climbing up the stone wall. He sees a window just above him and climbs into it, tearing the loose rocks away. He looks around the strange hallway he had entered. Quietly he gets up, and begins to search for Yugi, looking around various corners and doors. As he rounds a corner, he hears a snort. Carefully, Yami looks around to see a guard sleeping, his head resting on a table. He quickly slips past the guard, but looks back to make sure he wasn't seen. He jumps at the ferocious barking of a guard dog, backing up against the wall in fear.

 

The guard wakes up, but instead of looking to see what the dog was barking at, the guard yanks the dog's leash. "Shut up ya thick-skulled dolt! Always barking at nothing! Alright, might as well make our rounds!"

 

Yami sighs with relief as the guard walks away from his hiding spot along with the dog. The teen begins to get out of the corner he was hiding in, but he accidentally pushes open a hidden door. He looks into a large dining hall, with a throne at one end. The Henchman are celebrating the capture of Yugi.

The Henchmen cry out bloodcurdling threats at each other, at Prydain, and at an Egyptian teen called Marik.

 

Marik had just been trying to snatch a little supper for himself. But the Henchman won't allow it. They trip Marik, who lands hard on the ground.

 

Just then a chilly wind blows through the dining hall that stirs the wall hangings. Everyone becomes deadly silent, and all the candles and torches blow out. A small explosion occurs at one end of the hall.

 

And there stands the Thief King Bakura himself. Marik hurries over to the throne and begins to dust it. "Welcome your majesty! We're celebrating our success! I-I-I mean YOUR success! We have made no mistakes this time!"

 

Thief King Bakura seats himself, and begins to drink the wine Marik poured for him. Marik looks over to the door and yells to the henchmen, "Bring in the prisoner!" One of the Henchmen brings out Yugi all chained up. Marik looks over at his king and smiles, "There sire! This is the boy that creates visions!"

 

Marik goes over to Yugi, "Alright boy! Show his majesty where the millennium items can be found! Go on, show it!" Marik gets out a tub of water and slams it in front of Yugi and unchains him, Yugi shakes his head and refuses, Marik looks to Thief King Bakura nervously, "Heh, heh! Stubborn little thing, isn't he? Heh, heh."

 

The king's expression does not change. Bakura quickly grabs Marik's throat, choking him just a bit as a warning. Then he let's go, dropping Marik onto the ground with a soft thud.

 

Marik coughs softly, trying to regain his breath and looks back to King Bakura with a smile, "Why yes, sire. You're quite right! I'll take care of it at once!" Marik goes over to Yugi and kneels down to his level and says in a very harsh tone, "The Millennium Items! Where are they?! Show us, brat!"

 

Marik shoves Yugi's hands into the bowl of water they want the visions to be seen. Yugi immediately takes out his hands and shakes his hands to get the water off, he still shakes his head. Marik goes over; getting some metal tongs and grabs a hot coal. "I warn you! The King's patience is short!" He thrusts it towards Yugi and Yugi backs off in fear.

 

"Get away from him! Ah!" From up above all of this, Yami begins to wobble and then falls down into the room, tearing a piece of a flag trying to soften his landing. A henchman grabs him by the arm and throws him in front of the king next to Yugi. Yami looks up and sees Yugi, smiling. "Yugi!" He hugs him tightly. "You're ok!"

 

Yugi smiles and hugs Yami back tightly, tears slide down his cheeks, "bro... ther..." he manages to say.

 

Bakura let's out a raspy breath. "You are the brother of this child?"

Yami looks up at Bakura, fear making his body go numb. "Uh, y-y-yes sir."

"Then tell him to show me where the remaining millennium items are."

 

Yami's eyes widen. "B-But I can't! I promised not to."

Bakura sighs. "Fine, then. The boy is no use to me." He nods at Marik.

 

Marik smiles and laughs madly at King Bakura's nod cuz he knows what he can do; he goes over, rips apart Yugi and Yami and grabs Yugi while some henchmen grab Yami. Marik goes over to a chopping block and puts Yugi neck and head against it. Yugi starts struggling and freaking out because he knew that he was about to die.

 

Yami's body tingles in fear. "NO! DON'T!!" He looks up at Bakura. "I'll show you! Please, I'll show you!"

"Very well." He nods towards the henchmen holding Yami back, who thrust him back towards the bowl. Yami looks up to see if they let go of Yugi.

 

Marik sighs in disappointment and shoves Yugi over to Yami. Yugi falls to his knees and clings to Yami, trembling in fear that he almost died.

 

Yami hugs him back, then pushes him gently towards to bowl, taking the millennium puzzle out from the bag slung over his shoulder. Bakura's eyes brighten and a spark of wanting comes from deep within.

Yami puts the millennium puzzle around Yugi's neck. "Yugi, from you I do beseech.... Knowledge that lies beyond my reach...."

 

Yugi's eyes dim and blank as the eye of Horus appears on his head, Yami sets Yugi's hands on the bowl and the color comes out of his hands again. The puzzle spins making the water spin, having the color take over the water, the shapes of the millennium items appears in the view of the water.

 

Marik looks to the bowl to see what had been seen, he looked to his king, "sire! Sire! It's the items!!"

 

Bakura stands up. "Yes, it is ...." He walks towards Yami from behind, who found himself enchanted by the colors. "Tell him ... to show me where they are ...." He reaches out for Yami, who then turns around and screams at the site of Bakura, so close, reaching out to him. He accidentally spills the water as he toppled backwards in fear.

 

Yugi had snapped out of his trance immediately and his features returned to normal, he backs away when he realizes what was going on.

 

Marik looks over to see Bakura in pain because the water had splashed Bakura and it had hit him in the face and gotten in his eyes. Marik quickly runs over to his king, "YOUR MAJESTY!"

 

Yugi tugs on Yami's sleeve, giving the message that they need to get out of there!

 

Yami quickly sweeps Yugi up into his arms and runs out of the room into another hallway.

 

While rubbing his eyes, Bakura points toward the hallway Yami had just gone down. "GET THEM!! GET THEM, YOU FOOLS!!"

 

The henchmen obeyed and began running down the hallway after Yami and Yugi.
