No kidding. I'm probably have to ground myself after getting this chapter up until I see some improvement on my hard subject.

Atem: Well, good luck with that.

Thanks. Now, before I get depressed, hit it Atem!

Ch. 4: Black Orchid Academy
-Yugi's POV-
The next day after school was a nightmare, or at least it should have been. The moment I walked through that door, I have come face-to-face with a tall elderly woman.

She had thunderstorm cloud hair that was tied up to a neat bun, her face was long and wrinkles showed every where, and was anything but happy or pleased. She looked at me with her coal black eyes that were really slanted. She was wearing this Edwardian blouse that matched her hair, the one that looked like they're from the 1700's. “You must be Miss Mouto, I presume.” She said, her voice sounded high educated and scratchy.

I nodded, all my happy feeling turned to self-cautious.

She looked up and down at me. “She's very petite for her age,” She said. “But she'll be fine.”

I was completely confused until my grandpa spoke.

“I'm not letting you take her to that school of yours!”

“Until the papers prove false, she has no choice but to come with me and stay at my academy.”

I froze on the spot. `Leaving?' I thought. `There has to be some mistake!'

Grandpa was completely powerless standing there in front of the woman.

She looked at me with those eyes again. “Pack your things Miss Mouto, we're leaving in ten.” She said as she walked out to the black car.

I looked at my grandpa, who looked so defeated there. I wanted to comfort him, but I had to get packed, who knows what that woman could do. After I packed, I only got a minute to say good bye to Grandpa before walking out and sat in front of the woman, since the seats were facing each other.

The ride there was long and silent and it was nearly mid-night when we got there. The place looked more like Dracula's castle than anything else. As we walked down, the halls had these portraits that seemed to follow you with those pale white eyes and stern faces.

“This will be your room from now on.” She said as she pointed to the door.

I opened the door and I felt a terrible burst of cold air hitting me. I looked at the room and it wasn't fancy, but I didn't complain. Then she shoved me, almost making me trip and fall.

“Fortunately for you, you will sleep in and I shall give you the tour as well as give you your uniform.”

I nodded.

She looked at me for a moment before turning. “You're quiet, and you listen when you're told. That's good to know.” She said than added. “You maybe transferred out of here, only if you play your cards right. You know otherwise.” She closed and locked the door.

I feel as though I'm in prison for a crime I didn't commit. I found the open window and went to close it. I looked out at the thick forest and the huge lake, which looked so peaceful in the moon light. “Maybe it won't be so bad.” I said as I changed into my pajamas and put on the necklace that Atem gave me. I opened it up to see it and held it against my heart. `Atem, I hope everything is okay where you are.'

~Time-lapse~
During the three days I was here, I felt that strange feeling, along with regret and a new feeling…

“Hey! Out of the way!” A girl shoved me to the wall. “Head master's pet!” She said as the girls snickered.

I rubbed my forehead and looked at the halls with eyes staring at me.

The first day I was here, they were ticked off that I slept in while they woke up at five-thirty that morning. The uniform was like the woman, the Head master, wore, only it was black with some white and the skirts were really long because they couldn't find one my size. My long hair is always braided and can't have anything on it, like a ribbon or a butterfly clip for example. The second day, I attended to my first class, and someone tripped me on purpose, but I brushed myself off and walked to my desk. The whole day everyone was staring at me thinking why I was here. I caught a couple girls smoking, which was against school rules, and they noticed me. I gave them a small smiled and walked away. The Head master came by and asked if there was anything she wants to know. I told her there wasn't and she bought it.

“Hey Whisper!”

I looked to see two girls that were smoking yesterday. When the Head master left, they came by and thanked me for not ratting them out. Thus they call me `Whisper', because I keep their secret. I walked over and sat next to them.

One of them had blonde-white hair and eerie green eyes, but she's mostly a strong silent type. The only time I heard her say anything is usually a few words. Another girl had dyed black hair and steel blue eyes. She talks more than the other girl, but it was short as well.

“You smoke?” The blonde, Nattie, asked.

I shook my head.

“Good. We're down to our last pack.”

These girls don't like to share their packs of cigarettes, but other things they're okay with.

“What cha in for?” The black hair girl, Tulip, asked.

“Someone forged my grandfather's signature and sent it here.” I said, kinda feeling better.

“Damn.” Nattie said.

“Same.” Tulip agreed. “A sweet gal like you shouldn't be here.”

I nodded. “They're looking for the person now.” I said.

They nodded when the bell rang.

“Hope you get out soon Whisper.” Nattie said.

I nodded, feeling a little better than I had.

~Time-lapse~
`How could this be!?' I thought as I sat in the middle of my room. I was told that the Head master had a really bad stroke and they're sending a new one. The Head master, though seemed cruel and insensitive, she was really a nice person. But now, since no one told about my reason here, I was basically trapped. The two girls and I tired to tell them that information, but they wouldn't listen and the new Head master said I was rebellious and should be locked up in our rooms for the whole night with out supper. So here I am, on the floor, on my knees, and crying.

I looked over at my bag and reached for it to get out the gold box. I worked on the puzzle every evening before going to bed. But tonight, I didn't feel tired. Just sad and alone. I wanted to talk to my friends back home, I want to see my grandpa's smiling face, but most of all… I wanted Atem to be here. He always makes me feel better in any situation. I didn't realize that I was completing half of the puzzle until my attention was back on it. When I saw it, I felt better and continued to work on it until there was one piece left. Before I could place it in, the door knocked and a gruff voice was heard.

“Ya better be in bed by the time I count to ten!”

I quickly shoved the puzzle and the box under the bed and quickly changed into my pajamas, which were the breezy blouse with butterfly sleeves that went over my waist line and my pajama pants. I quickly went under the covers and closed my eyes.

The security woman came in and I could tell she waved her flashlight around to see if there was anything she can report. She left the room without finding anything out of place.

I laid there for a few minutes before getting up and grabbed the puzzle. I felt so many emotions from this last piece. Excitement, happy, overjoyed, as well as that indescribable feeling along with regret. I couldn't explain why, but I placed the last piece in. Nothing happened, but I could tell that the atmosphere became heavy and still, just for a moment before the puzzle started to glow. It became brighter and brighter each second, until I had to shield my eyes. I felt very light all of a sudden, than… Everything went black

I woke up with the sun in my eyes. `What happened?' I thought as I looked at my surroundings. There was nothing but sand as far as the eye could see. I quickly got up and looked around. `Where am I? How did I get-“ I thought as I remembered the puzzle. “I was transported here?” I said as I looked around. “But where's here?”

`Everything carries me
Irresistibly to you, like the wind
Everything connects me
Irresistibly to you, I feel it

Like the day returning after night
And it's always sunny after rain
Like a bird returning to its nest
That with my love, I go too

Everything carries me
Irresistibly to you, in that instant
Everything connects me
Irresistibly to you, I feel it

Like the sea hitting the rocks
Obstinately without ever ceasing
By misfortune we are always hitting
But love alone can save us

Like pleasure after tears
After winter returns the flower weather
At the moment where we believe that all has died
Love returns with a great victory

Everything carries me
Irresistibly to you, like the wind
Everything connects me
Irresistibly to you, I feel it.'
