Warning: Heh…okay, this is a warning note. This chapter will raise the rating of this story to NC-17. I didn't mean to write out a semi-lemon between Joey and Tristan, but it just sort of happened…*sweatdrop* And yes, it does pertain to the plot.

You! Off My Planet

Chapter Four

It had been two weeks since Joey first met Tristan Taylor at the Domino Roller Rink. The blonde had given Tristan the phone number to the apartment as soon as they left the rink and they have been dating ever since then. He had thanked his friends, Yami and Yugi, for bringing the two together. The blonde definitely thought that he had finally found someone he could actually be himself around.

Joey smiled softly to himself as he left his last class of the day and thought of what he was going to do that night. He asked for the night off in exchange for working Saturday night during the dinner shift. He had plans and they included making out with one hot boyfriend. He glanced around the hallway and began walking to the door that led out of the building that housed the various science laboratories.

"Well, what have we here?" a deep voice scorned. "A dog has no business being here…unless you are looking for the room for lab experiments. I hear that the psych professor is trying to repeat Pavlov's experiments and they do need a mongrel."

Honeyed eyes narrowed as Joey turned his head to meet the smirking cobalt orbs of Seto Kaiba. "Go fuck off, moneybags," he retorted as he readjusted his backpack on his shoulders. "I think Professor Hartford was looking for you…he said something about needing a student with a stick up his ass. I'm sure he meant you. Then again, someone with your frigid personality would freeze anything within a ten foot radius. That's it!" His eyes gleamed with humor for a moment. "You don't have a stick stuck up there…it's a goddamned icicle!"

Seto glared at Joey for a couple of minutes because of his laughter. The pup actually came up with an intelligent comeback and it sort of unsettled him. "You think that's funny?"

The shorter young man grinned while brushing some of his blonde locks out of his eyes. "Of course I do. Pissing you off has become one of my favorite pastimes, Kaiba." He laughed a little more and then realized something. "What are you doing here anyway? You don't take any science labs…"

The CEO rolled his eyes and sighed in exasperation. "One of your idiot friends told me that you were here."

A blonde eyebrow was raised in curiosity. "Oh? You were looking for me?"

"Yes," Seto said through gritted teeth. "I won't be back at the apartment tonight. Mokuba wants to spend time with me this weekend."

"Aw, and you thought that I needed to know this in person? How sweet," Joey exclaimed in a fake sweet tone, clasping his hands together like a schoolgirl. "You must really like me…NOT! You could have just left a note or a message on my cell phone." He began laughing even harder now.

The brunette clenched his hands tightly into fists. He hated being mocked, especially by one blonde puppy that lived in his apartment. However, Wheeler was correct. He could have called his cell phone and left a message. Wait…when did the pup get a cell phone? "When did you get a cell phone?" he asked slowly, his eyes narrowing a bit. He thought that Wheeler did not have any extra money to be able to get anything like that.

Joey shrugged and began walking away. "Oh, Tristan got it for me," he replied in a casual manner. "He wanted to be able to get in touch with me. He thought it was odd that you don't even have an answering machine back at the apartment. Anyway, you go have a good time with Mokuba and say hi to your brother for me."

As soon as he was sure that he was out of sight of his roommate, the blonde leaned up against a wall and let out a breath. What was the matter with him? Lately, the tall CEO had been a little more watchful over his activities and it was bothering him. But what was bothering him more was the fact that his body seemed to be reacting to his roommate.

"What the fuck?" Joey whispered to himself. Kaiba was a major prick and asshole and always had given the blonde a hard time ever since they first met. "Why am I even thinking of Kaiba? I got my two week anniversary celebration with Tristan to think of tonight." With that thought in mind, he pushed himself away from the wall and began strolling down the pathway, weaving in and out of the other college students leaving their classes for the day.

The time was now almost seven in the evening and Joey was pacing up and down in the living room of his apartment. Tristan was due to arrive any minute now and he was feeling nervous for some reason. He was planning on spending some `quality' time with his boyfriend that night in his room especially since Seto was not going to be there that night. That way, he was pretty sure that they could be as loud as they want.

He stood in front of the mirror that was next to the front door, checking out his appearance. The blonde wanted to look good for his boyfriend so he put on one of his favorite outfits. It was a deep red button-up long-sleeved shirt tucked into a pair of dark grey slacks. He tried to brush his blonde hair out of his eyes but had no luck; his golden locks just would not stay in place, not even with gel. He sighed for a moment and was about to work with his hair again when someone knocked on the door.

Joey took in a deep breath and opened the door. The smile on his face became wide when he took in Tristan's form. The taller of the two was wearing black pants, a black silk top and a tan suede jacket. In the blonde's opinion, the man looked delectable.

"Wow…you look…awesome," the blonde managed to say, his amber eyes moving up and down on the pointy haired brunette.

Tristan laughed gently and laid a chaste kiss on his boyfriend's cheek. "So do you, babe," he remarked, his brown eyes dancing with amusement and lust as he gazed at Joey's clothing. "That's a nice color on you. Where'd you get that top? I wouldn't mind getting one for myself."

Honey brown orbs closed for a moment before opening them up. "I'm not entirely certain," Joey admitted. "I came into the apartment a couple of days ago and it was in a package on the table. Kaiba said that some delivery person dropped it off. There was no note on it or anything but I think my sister sent it to me. She's the only one who knows that I like wearing this shade of red."

The brunette's eyes narrowed for a moment as a thought went through his mind. He knew that his boyfriend was not lying but he also knew that something else seemed to be up. He grabbed Joey's hand and led the shorter male over to the couch and sat both of them down. He knew that his boyfriend had planned to go out that evening, but that did not mean that he couldn't get the blonde to make out with him before they left.

"So, how long have we been going out now?" Tristan asked, pulling the blonde closely as they sat on the couch.

Joey snuggled closely and smiled up at his boyfriend. "Two weeks, Tristan," he answered breathlessly. "Two whole glorious weeks."

The brown haired male grinned at his boyfriend and pulled him even closer. "And what would you like to do tonight besides going out to dinner, eh?"

Before Joey could even answer, his lips were claimed in a furious kiss by Tristan. He melted into the kiss, relishing the sensations that were being transmitted to him. He never felt so happy in his entire life. He let his hands roam over the other's body and began to unbutton Tristan's shirt. Just as he reached the waistband, the front door was flung open. Both he and his brown eyed lover broke apart and sat at the opposite ends of the couch. The blonde looked up and stared into cold, cobalt eyes.

"Next time you decide to hump someone, pup, do it in the other's own place," Seto Kaiba sneered, his face appeared to be quite angry. "I don't like being kept awake at night with the sounds of a bitch in heat."

Tristan's eyes became mere slits while Joey's went wide. The blonde knew that his roommate was referring to the first time that he and his boyfriend decided to have sex in his room…

Flashback…

"Oh gods!" Joey moaned as Tristan's hands were rubbing the bulge that had become rather larger as time went on. This was the first time that the two were making out and the feelings. They were wonderful in the blonde's mind…it had been a while since he had any physical affections.

"You like that, don't you?" the pointy haired brunette purred into Joey's ear, his fingers trailing down the blonde's bare chest while his other hand was still fondling his manhood.

The honey eyed young man could only nod, his eyes rolling back behind his head. The pleasure he was receiving was beginning to become more than he could control and he wasn't sure if he could keep from yelling out any longer. He knew his roommate was home, and probably sleeping, but he thought that he would be able to keep from crying out.

Soon, even that marginal thought was gone from his mind as Tristan unzipped his jeans and pulled out his throbbing erection. His fingers pulled on the soft skin gently, the up and down motions making the blonde moan loudly. His hands fisted on his bed sheets as the brunette lowered his head and lightly licked the tip free of the liquid that had begun to leak out.

"Tris…Tristan…" the blonde moaned even louder. He instinctively spread his legs when he felt his boyfriend begin tugging his jeans and boxers off. "Gods, Tristan…"

The brown eyed male smirked up at his lover as he took in Joey's shaft into his mouth, sucking on it firmly. He then ran his tongue on the underside of the erection, causing the blonde to writhe even more on his bed. Tristan stopped the blow-job and blew lightly on the tip before moving up his boyfriend's body.

"Why…why'd you stop?" Joey shakily asked, his eyes glowing with lust.

"It's because there's something else I'd much rather do…" Tristan remarked, his voice becoming deep and seductive…

End flashback…

"Look, you don't have any right to say who and what Joey does in his own room, Kaiba," Tristan remarked acidly as he stood up from the couch, breaking the blonde from his reverie. He re-buttoned his shirt and straightened his jacket before looking down at Joey. "Let's go, Joey…It's getting cold in here."

Joey looked up at his boyfriend and then at his glaring roommate. He tilted his head to one side in slight confusion at Seto's expression. He couldn't quite make out what was going on in those cobalt depths, but anger sure was the dominant emotion. He stood up from the couch slowly, breaking eye contact with the tall CEO. His insides felt a little bizarre and he just could not quite explain why he was feeling that way about his roommate.

"Of course I have every right," Seto remarked callously, his eyes never wavering from Joey. "This is my apartment and I am allowing the dog to stay here rent-free as long as he follows the conditions I had set up. What they are is of no concern of you."

Tristan seemed to get a little more upset but did not say anything; his brown eyes were fuming. He grabbed Joey's arm and forcibly led the shorter male out of the apartment and into the hallway. The blonde's head was still whirling with what just happened but one thing did become clear. Why didn't his boyfriend stick up for him more than he did? That did not sit well with him and decided to confront Tristan later that evening.

When they finally reached Tristan's car, Joey got in the passenger side and began thinking. Ever since he got together with the pointy haired brunette, his roommate began acting colder, if that was even possible, and took out his anger on him. The blonde sighed softly as his boyfriend got into the driver's seat and turned the key in the ignition. The car started and speedily took off down the street.

A few minutes later, they stopped in front of an expensive-looking restaurant and a valet came by to park the car. Tristan got out effortlessly and went over to the passenger side to help Joey out. The blonde was nearly paralyzed with fear and needed the help. As much as he cared for his boyfriend, he was afraid that they were going to die someday whenever he drove.

"Are you okay, Joey?" Tristan asked gently as he helped the honey eyed man out of the vehicle.

Joey got out slowly and used the other's body to steady himself on his feet. "I'll be fine, Tristan," he answered slowly, the fear fading fast. "But please, next time, remember that the red lights mean stop!"

The brunette rolled his eyes and then smirked as he pulled the other way from the car so the valet could park it. "There wasn't anyone else around, babe."

"That isn't the point, Tristan." The blonde was starting to get a little annoyed. "You drive like you don't care if you or your passenger would get hurt if you got into an accident."

"Let's not start that now," the taller male remarked as he shrugged off his suede jacket and hung it over his shoulder, a finger hooked into the collar so it won't fall. "This is our anniversary and I'm hungry."

Joey sighed as he followed Tristan into the restaurant and looked around. It was rather nice and the smells coming from inside the building were truly mouthwatering. That made his stomach rumble gently in response and that caused the brunette to chuckle. The blonde's face became tinged with a light pink; he grimaced to himself for that reaction.

They were seated by the hostess in a rather secluded location and handed them the menus. She winked at both men as she walked off, causing a scowl to appear on Tristan's face. Joey noticed the expression and gently grabbed his hand, lightly stroking the tanned skin. He smiled at his boyfriend for a moment before speaking.

"What's eating you, Tristan? You seem to be on edge ever since that incident at the apartment with Kaiba." He really wanted to know what was going on in Tristan's head and thought that this would be the best way to achieve that goal.

The brunette sighed as he removed his hand from the table, missing the hurt look on Joey's face. "Look, I just don't trust that guy," he answered, his brown eyes locking with honeyed orbs. "Every time that I'm around and he's around, he acts like he's got a stick up his ass…What's so funny?"

At the other's comment, the blonde began laughing. He was remembering what had happened earlier that day when he was leaving the science labs. "Oh, it's nothing, Tris. I just happened to make a comment like that to Kaiba earlier today on campus. I ran into him when I was leaving my chem lab."

Tristan raised an eyebrow. "Forgive me…but what was that bastard doing there? Do you think he has a thing for you?"

Joey laughed even harder. "You've GOT to be kidding. He said that he wanted to tell me that he wasn't going to be back at the apartment tonight. He was going to spend time with his younger brother."

"Oh really now…and please explain then why he just happened to show up while we were still at the apartment." The brunette seemed to be getting slightly annoyed and angry by this time.

The blonde stopped laughing and stared at the other man. "Excuse me? What are you trying to say? Don't tell me that you are jealous over my roommate because that's all he is. He's JUST A ROOMMATE and nothing else."

"Joey, you moron…you don't see the way that he looks at you but I do. He looks at you like you're a piece of meat and I don't like it."

"We argue all the time and insult each other whenever we get the chance! Tristan, I care for you a lot but this is getting ridiculous."

While Tristan and Joey were quietly arguing about Seto Kaiba, the aforementioned person arrived at the restaurant with his younger brother, Mokuba. The hostess was beside herself that a rich and handsome man would come in during her shift and was trying to be extra nice to the CEO. He glared at her coldly and stated in simple terms that he and his brother just needed a simple table for the two of them and to have a waiter come to them as swiftly as possible.

The tall brunette looked around the restaurant as he and his little brother was taken to the more secluded part of the place. He snorted at that and shook his head slowly as he sat down at a quiet booth. Mokuba followed suit a few seconds after him. The hostess appeared to be a little miffed about not getting the CEO's attention so she just put the menus on the table and walked away. When she was gone, the ebony haired youth looked at his older brother.

"What's wrong, Seto?" Mokuba asked as he leaned up against the back of his chair. "After you came back from your apartment, you were really upset."

Seto snorted and glanced idly at his teenaged brother. "Nothing, Mokuba, that a .44 caliber pistol wouldn't cure. Some dogs just need to be put down."

"Seto!" the teen exclaimed, kicking the other under the booth. "Jou is not a dog. He's really nice."

The brunette snorted. "Oh please, Mokuba. The pup may be nice to you, but that's only because he doesn't know any better."

"Are you saying that he's dumb?" The smaller of the two began to study the elder brother, seeing some things that he did not notice since the last time he was able to spend time with the CEO.

A nasty laugh erupted from the brunette as he gave the other a smirk. "I didn't say that, did I little brother? But yes, he could actually use some brains and common sense."

"So you still don't know what major Joey is studying," Mokuba remarked quietly, watching the reaction in his brother's eyes. He saw slight confusion in the other's cobalt eyes. "If he hasn't told you, then it isn't my place to tell you. I'll just let you find out all on your own."

Before Seto could say anything to reprimand the black haired teen, a couple of male voices were becoming raised. He raised an eyebrow when he recognized the voices; they belonged to Joey and his boyfriend, Tristan. And from the sounds they were making, they were in the booth next to them.

"Tristan, why did you just ask that? I have never, EVER, seen that bastard naked!" Joey exclaimed.

"And how can I believe that? You live with him!" Tristan yelled back.

The blonde began to run his hands through his tresses and sighed. "Yes, I live with Kaiba…but that's all! We may insult each other and we do hate each other's guts, but the does NOT MEAN that I sleep with him! I needed a place to stay and he needed a roommate."

`He hates me?' Seto thought to himself as he eavesdropped into the conversation. `I guess I did a better job than I thought. Why does that upset me?' He was so engrossed in his thoughts that he missed the smirk on his younger brother's face.

Tristan narrowed his eyes at his boyfriend. "I wish I could believe you, Joey, I really do. I still can't believe that he came into the apartment so suddenly like that earlier. That's why I doubt you on this…"

That was when Joey slammed his hands onto the table of their booth as he stood up. "Listen here, Tristan. Relationships are based on trust and apparently you don't trust me! And I do have to wonder…why didn't you really defend me in front of Kaiba? Just telling him, and I quote word for word, `Look, you don't have any right to say who and what Joey does in his own room, Kaiba,' is hardly what I would call a defense!"

"Just admit that you have the hots for the bastard, Joey! I don't mind, he is one hot little number; he's just too cold on the personality front." Tristan pulled on the blonde's arm to make him sit back down.

The blonde growled slightly as he sat back down. "I will admit to nothing because there is nothing to admit," he remarked sharply. "Why don't we just eat? The waiter is here with our food."

"Fine," the pointy haired brunette replied, fire showing in his eyes. The waiter put their food and drinks on the table and immediately left the two to eat.

They began eating their meal in a strained silence. Joey would pick at the food on his plate and that was strange for the blonde. He would usually be eating everything with gusto but his appetite just was not in it at the moment. This was the first real big argument that he had with his boyfriend and it bothered him greatly. Every time he tried to say something to Tristan, the other would either take a sip from his glass or take a bite out of his food. Effectively, he was ignoring the blonde as much as he could.

A few minutes later, Tristan stood up from the table and handed Joey the money to cover the restaurant bill. "I'll be right back," the brown eyed man said, his eyes looked sad for some reason. "I need to use the bathroom and just in case the waiter comes back with the check, the money I gave you should cover everything and the tip."

"O-okay," the honey eyed young man answered softly, looking up to see his boyfriend's retreating form. He gazed back down at the booth table and fingered the money lightly. He felt that he needed to talk things out with the brunette and hoped that they will be able to do so when they went back to his apartment.

Seto was getting his credit card back from the waiter and noticed Tristan making his way to the foyer of the restaurant. He raised his eyebrows at that and stood up, Mokuba following suit. He strode swiftly into the foyer and noticed the pointy haired male enter his car after the valet brought it up and drove away.

`Interesting,' he thought to himself as he watched the vehicle drive away. Getting an idea, the CEO went back into the restaurant, leaving Mokuba standing outside with a confused look on his face. The tall brunette came back outside a couple of minutes later and glared at his smirking brother.

"What did you do?" Mokuba asked, his eyes twinkling with amusement.

"Nothing that you wouldn't do," Seto answered promptly when their limo pulled up. At the younger Kaiba's expression, he shook his head. "And that's the only explanation you'll get. Now, didn't you want to go rent a couple of movies?"

Joey looked at his watch and sighed. Tristan was gone for over ten minutes now and he had a sinking feeling that something happened. He paid for the check with the money that his boyfriend had left and was just waiting. Just as he was about to go to the bathroom to see if Tristan was still there, the hostess came up to his booth with a tired expression on her face.

"Are you Joey Wheeler?" she asked. When the blonde nodded, she continued. "I'm sorry to inform you that the man you were with had left the restaurant."

The blonde's eyes went wide and felt tears begin to form. "Did…did he say anything?" he asked tentatively, somehow knowing the answer.

The woman shook her head and gave him a sympathetic look. "No, I'm sorry he did not. However, a concerned restaurant patron told me to tell you that. Also, I was told to tell you not to worry about transportation home. A taxi has been called for you and should be here shortly and not to worry about the fare. Once again, I'm sorry about all this."

Joey wiped his eyes before any tears could fall and sniffled in a cute manner. "Do…do you know who this patron is? I'd…I'd like to thank him."

"I'm sorry, but I don't know who it was. It was just a kind voice speaking to me from behind."

The blonde sighed and smiled at the hostess, causing her to smile back at him. "Thank you anyway, miss," he replied as he stood up, "so I'll just go now."

The woman smiled at Joey as he walked out of the restaurant and noticed that there was a taxi waiting. He sighed and got into the vehicle and told the driver the address of his apartment. It took a little while to get home and was trying to pay the driver when he was told no. He sighed again and went up to his apartment and looked around. He noticed that there was a single pale orange rose on the table and looked at it curiously. It was in a nice, inexpensive vase and there was a card on it. The blonde picked up the card and turned it over. There was no name on it, just one word written on it in elegant calligraphy: Desire.

Chapter Five preview:

"What's this?" Seto asked as he spied the romantic setting at the dining room table. He then glanced over at the blonde. "A dinner for two I see…but I don't see your boyfriend here. What happened, did he find another bone to chew?"

Joey stood up and looked at the CEO. His honey brown eyes were bright with unshed tears and there were streaks on his face where tears had already fallen. "In a manner of speaking, yes he did," he answered softly as he got up from his chair and grabbed his jean jacket and put it on. "Look, you can eat the dinner if you haven't eaten yet. I'm going over to Yugi's to get stone-cold drunk. Go ahead and make as much fun of this pathetic dog that I am…I don't care anymore."
