Chapter 3: The white fox returns

Kuwabara opened the door to his suite and everyone stared at him. "What? I won!" Kuwabara said. "How? How did you do it?" Yusuke said standing up. "I've seen you do it a million times so I just did what you did and it worked!" "You must have really trained hard to get that move pat down!" Kurama said. "Naw, only two weeks!" He said. He's getting powerful Hiei said to himself. "So, I think it's you next Kurama!" "Yeah you're right! See you guys later." He kissed Hiei before he left the room. Kuwabara shook his head. "What?" Hiei asked. "I always knew you two were gay!"

Kurama stepped into the ring and cracked his knuckles. "It's time for the second fight! Kurama vs. Inyuyasha! Go!" Inyuyasha pulled out his sword. Kurama pulled out his rose whip. The two ran at each other and collided at the middle of the ring. "I hear that you are also a demon," Inyuyasha whispered. "True." They both jumped back and both of their weapons broke. They didn't realize that they hit each other that hard. "I like killing enemies with my hand anyway!" Inyuyasha said and ran at Kurama who easily dodged the attack, but with a flash Inyuyasha made his way behind Kurama and scratched his back with his claws. "AHH!" Kurama stumbled forward but before he could recover, Inyuyasha attacked again from the front.

He stood his ground and waited to sense where his enemy was going to strike next. He got his sign and attacked him by punching him in the face. Inyuyasha flew back on the other side of the ring and fell on his back. "I see you can sense energy," Inyuyasha said. "I'm tired of playing around! Now it's time you saw my true form!" Kurama exploded with spirit energy. His hair turned silver and he grew fox ears out of his head. Inyuyasha did not seem impressed.

"I hope you know this is not impressive. I expected your spirit energy to jump a lot." "What you see is what you get!" Kurama said. He dashed for Inyuyasha but he moved too quickly. The demon ended up behind the fox and used his special move. His hand had a purple energy around it. He drove it right into Kurama's back. He powered down into his regular red hair mode and fell to the ground.

"1…2…3…4…5…6…7…8̷ 0;9…10! Kurama is down and Inyuyasha is the winner!

Hiei ran out of the suite into the arena to check on Kurama. He got to the ring and knelt beside Kurama. He looked at Inyuyasha with anger. "Your next Hiei!" At that moment Hiei made it his duty to meet with Inyuyasha in the tournament, even if he had to kill Yusuke and Kuwabara.

Another match had started and everyone in the room was silent. Kurama had to be taken to the hospital and was not going to be well for a while. Hiei's hand began to shake. He got up a yelled at the top of his lungs. "I will kill Inyuyasha!" he said burning up with energy. "Calm down," Kuwabara said. "Go ahead. Say one more thing and I'll rip your head off!" "Hiei, even you know that I have become almost as powerful as you now. Don't try it." Hiei stepped back and sat down. Yusuke was surprised at this. Hiei never backed down from anybody! What was going on? "Well my match is next! I'll be back soon!" Yusuke said and left the room. The room was silent and it was going to be like this for a while.

Yusuke had on the same gear as he did in the dark tournament. He adjusted his wristband as he walked to the ring. Surprisingly, everyone cheered for the Demon Prince. "Whoa! I guess I got popular when I wasn't around!" He said to himself. Waiting in the ring for him was Ryu. He heard about him in the other world. He had immense spirit energy and could project it using a technique called the Hadoken. "Well fighters get in your positions! Ready…Go!" The two fighters automatically started exchanging kicks and punches. They were moving so fast that the unskilled eye could not keep up. Finally they broke away from each other. "I hear you are a great fighter. Prove it!" Ryu said and gave a kick to Yusuke's chest. The blow pushed Yusuke back but did not get him off of his feet.

"So I guess your one of those guys who want to test my power. Bad idea." Yusuke jumped into the air and his foot began to glow. "Spirit kick!" He yelled as he came crashing down on Ryu. There was a cloud of smoke and when it was gone, a crater could be seen in the ring, which Ryu laid. He got back up easily and brushed of the dirt. His gi was torn and was only left with his pants. "That was a lot of energy, but not as much as this! Hadoken!" Ryu shot a ball of spirit energy at Yusuke. He grabbed it and pushed it back at Ryu who jumped out of its way.

While Ryu was still distracted by his attack, Yusuke came behind him and punched him in the back of the head. Ryu came crashing down face first. He lay there for a while and got back up before the count of 4. "You sure can take a lot," Yusuke told his challenger. "Well, I've had tougher opponents than you before." "Than you should have taken me out a long time ago!" This enraged Ryu and he started up his hurricane kick. Yusuke stood there amused. "It's not working," He yelled to Ryu. "Is it?" The wind coming from Ryu's hurricane began to cut open Yusuke. "AHHhHHHhHHHHH!" He yelled and grabbed himself. This put him off balance and he was sucked into the hurricane. He was being kicked around so fast it was hard to keep up. When the attack was over, Yusuke lay on the ground barely moving. He finally got up at the count of 8. Ryu was impressed.

Kuwabara and Hiei were glued to the TV. They had never seen Yusuke take such a beating in his life with just one attack.

"It's time I stop playing with you. Ha…Do…" Yusuke knew what to do. He brought his right fist back and began to charge it up with energy. "Ken!" Ryu shot a huge stream of energy at his opponent. Yusuke ran at the stream. "Spirit Punch!" He pushed the stream back like a linebacker and the blast disintegrated Ryu. Yusuke sighed heavily then smiled. "The obvious winner of the match is Yusuke Urmeshi!" The Crowd went wild! Little did Yusuke know, sitting in one of the skyboxes was his father. "Good job my son."

Yusuke got back to the suite. Kuwabara got up and gave him a high five. "Ow!" Yusuke looked at his hand to see that it was burned badly. "You should get that checked out," Kuwabara said. "Good match Yusuke," Hiei said. "Thanks. That guy was a lot stronger than I thought he was."

Hiei left the room and went to the arena. He cracked his knuckles. He had a lot of anger that he had to get out of him and felt sorry for the person that was in that ring.
