Chapter 9: Souta and Shippo Get a hiccup

Kagome woke up in the nurses office, Koruko on one side of her and Sesshomaru on the other. She screamed jumped up and went to smack them both, but was only able to fall to the ground gasping for air and almost passing out again. They were both by her side within the second her knees hit the ground. Kagome's eyes seemed to cloud over and she started to dig her nails into the ground Sesshomaru grabbed her around the waist and pulled her into his lap and Koruko started to run his fingers through her hair. She closed her eyes and seemed to sink into the feeling.

"I'll kill him." Was all she said before she slipped back into the blackness of her mind. Sesshomaru and Koruko looked at each other.

"She wants to go home, I'm going to take her home." Sesshomaru said picking her up and getting her keys out of her pocket. He walked out of the office, getting some strange looks from Mary and Mira who were in the office at the time and any one who saw them in the halls, who happened to be Kikyo, Inuyasha, Rin, and Botan.

"Sesshomaru! What in the hell are you doing!" Inuyasha yelled from down the hall. He just kept walking with Kagome craddled in his arms holding onto his shirt, her breathing was raspy and hard.... but she was still breathing. He walked out to her black Jag, with the silver dragons painted on the sides. He clicked the remote unlock on her key chain. He put her on the passenger side, he really didn't bother to put on her seat belt. He got in on the drivers side stuck the key in the ignition and drove off to her house. It took him around 10 minuets to get there. She didn't move an inch the entire way there, and Sesshomaru much to his dislike looked over ever few minuets to make sure she was still alive. When he finally did get there he got out and went to the other side of the car and picked Kaogme up and locked her car. He turned around and noticed how many steps there really were.

"God damn!" He wispered before he started up the stairs. He got up to the house and unlocked the door, closing it behind him he took Kagome up and layed her down in her room. He pulled the covers over her. And walked back done to make her some food. He made her a few sandwiches and a snack and left them on the table. He fed Buyo, leaving a message for her to get a hold of him soon and then walked back to school.

Kagome woke up around 2 hours after Sesshomaru left. She walked down stairs and found then note, she growled balled it up and threw it in the trash she grabbed the plate of food and went up stairs again. She opened her window and looked outside.

"I know your there come inside I want to talk to you!" She went and sat down on her bed still eating her sandwhich and waited for Naraku's spy to come in. Finally he slowly stepped in through the window. Kagome had a smile on her face for the first time in a while.

"Yes..." The spy hissed at her.

"Tell your leader I will consider working for him. I want a meeting setup between the two of us. Leave me." Kagome said dismissing him with air of a queen. The spy glared at her with wariness before taking off to tell his leader what happned. She took the time she had alone to go to the phone.

Kagome sighed as she was walked in blindfolded to an old whear house it seemed by the smell. The two men who were leading her shoved her not so gently to a table where she found a chair and sat down. The men pulled off her blindfold and she looked at a man, a very nice looking man, yet you could tell he was evil. Inside she was tearing up inside, she was looking into the eyes of her fathers killer, on the outside she had the calm exteriour normally worn by Sesshomaru.

"So Kagome, you wanted a meeting and you got a meeting." He said and looked up at the men still in the room. "Leave" He said with venom dripping off his every word. The two men seemed a little un-nevered and went out the door closing it behind them. Kagome just gave him a look of indiference, she was used to the cold act because of Sesshomaru, but his was like cold and evil!

"Yes I did. Now why do you want me to work for you?" Kagome asked moving around in her chair so she was slumped but she had an easy route to the door for escape. (ESCA-P-E wow its spell just like escape! ... sorry couldent resist, ok my Dory moment is over now) If Naraku noticed it he showed no signs. He gave her one of those evil guy smirks that every gets so annoyed of.

"Why your the best of the best of coarse, and have the best of the bloodlines." He said with an air of humor, however crule and twisted that humor is. He leaned in over the table closer to her. She leaned over as well meeting his gaze with one with as much force and anger behind it as his. "I dont really see why I should tell you though." Kagome couldent help but laugh at this.

"Because my ... friend" She said after a small hesitation. "I want to know why I should be working for you if I am to say yes."

"Oh you'll work for me alright. No matter what you think now you will." He laughed at the expression on her face, at that comment she accidently let her mask slip.

"How are you going to do that?" She asked, at that moment her mother walked through a door on the other side of the room behind Naraku. She walked up behind him and put a hand on his shoulder.

"I have my ways." He roared with laughter as Kagome stood in shock at her mother. (I'll give 3 cookies to whoever guessed that!!) He stood up and moved around the table grabbing her arm and threw her into a wall. He grinded his hips into hers, pinning her against the wall with his body. He laughed as she tried to break free of his grasp. He gave her a bruising kiss forcing his tounge into her mouth. After a minuet he pulled his head away. "I have my ways, Via your little brother and that dear little Shippo." He pulled entirely away and Kagome took off out of the room, out of the building, straight to her car and drove home.

Sango and Miroku drove up to the Higurashi Shrine, Koga had called saying that Souta was going to be going between diffrent places for quite a while and he should get his clothes. So they brough all the boys over to help him pack. (Souta, Shippo, and Kohacku I dunno how to spell his name)

"You boys go on up Miroku and I will be up right after you." Sango said as the boys tumbled out of the car and raced up the steps. Her and Miroku went up the steps and a more reasonable pace. Once the boys reached the top of the stairs they heard a resounding smack and Sango scream somthing or other about `Stupid lechers' and started to storm up the steps dragging an unconcience (with a stupid grin on his face) up the stairs behind her. The boys just shook their heads and walked into the house. They all ran up to Souta's room to start packing. Sango came in a little later and dropped Miroku in the front hall.

"Souta I'll be right back I have to go to the bathroom." Shippo said after about 15 minuets of packing (Ya the little boy has lots of things to pack hehe!) He ran to the bathroom and opened the door. He looked at the tiles.

`Wow Kagome must have gotten bored with plain white.' He thought as he looked at the cool red design on the tiles. (Think back to when I described the Bathroom in chappy 1 if you dont remember go back and read it before you read the rest.) He traced the design up the the rear wall of the bathroom. And passed out.

Souta heard a soft thump from down by the bathroom. He decided he better go check on Shippo, to make sure he didn't trip over and hurt himself or Buyo. Both boys ran down the hall. At the sight Kohacku turned around and started to puke and Souta screamed for Sango.

Sango came running up the stairs at the sound of the boys commotion. Followed by a sligtly dazed Miroku. Sango gasped and Miroku let out a slight "Dear God!" Sango picked up Shippo and hurried the other boys down stairs and picked up the phone. Miroku ran into the bathroom being careful of the `red design' up to a very white, very pale Kagome (Now who here truthfully thought it was someone had killed Buyo??) He took a towle and wrapped it around her bleeding wrists trying to stop the gushing blood.

"Kaogme!" He yelled at her even though he knew she could barly understand he was more than a burlly blob. "How could you do this why?" He asked. She rolled her head towards him.


Kagome turned her head toward the blurry thing that looked somehwhat close to a human but she wasent sure.Mabye it was Buyo. "Buyo..." She wispered. "Couldent.... let.... take.... Souta... mom! No!" She said between gasps before she passed out.

Sango was downstairs trying to console the now crying Shippo who had woken up, the Kohacku who was still dry heaving, and Souta who was still in shock. She held them all close, trying to calm herself down at the same time. She had run downstairs and called Koruko, she didn't want to call the police, things here where to hard to explain right now anyways. After that she called Kouga who said he would be right over.

Sango ran to the door when the door bell went off leaving the boys in the living room where she moved them. They were all huddled together on the couch. She threw open the door and both Kouga and Koruko where there looking worried.

"Thank the gods your hear! Upstairs go up stairs in the bathroom." She said shoving them towards the stairs before going back to hugging the boys. Both men just seemed startled but when upstairs to the bathroom anyways. They gasped as they saw Miroku holding Kagome's wrists with a almost completly red towel (It was white before)

"Hurry help me, if we dont do somthing soon she'll die for sure!" Koruko ran to the the space under the sink getting out a first aid kit and lots and lots of bandages. Kouga just stood there. "Kouga are you going to help or not!?" Miroku shouted at him.

"This is what she ment, this is why she wanted me to promis all of that..." Kouga said seeming to be in a trance. Miroku looked over at him and threw the trash can at him.

"Help us DAMMIT!" He roared snapping Kouga out of it. He ran over and started to put more pressure on the wounds that were slowly stopping to spurt blood all over, weather it was because of there was no blood, or it was just stopping they didn't know... and didn't want to find out. Koruko was putting gauze over one of her wrists while Miroku was trying to wake up Kagome with some smelling salts she had on the counter. Miroku checked her pulse about 5 minuets after Kouga and Koruko finished with her wrists and her pulse was slightly stronger. Her breathing was still sharp and shallow, you could barly see she was breathing.

"Thats as good as we can get her now. Lets get her in her bed." Koruko said getting up to wash the blood off his hands. Kouga picked her up bridal style and went to lay her in her bed. He coulden't help but laugh to himself.

"The toughest girl in our school has a pink bed room!" He said laying her down and pulling the covers up to her chin. (Sorry I dont remember what color her room is but I think its pink isn't it!?) He walked back down to the living room where everyone had migrated to after he washed his own hands off clearing them of the blood, Kagome's blood. He walked in on Miorku saying there was a chance she wouldent make it, but she most likly would. Sango was crying on Koruko's shoulder with the boys around her trying to console her now.

"Poor Kagome... Kagome..." She kept wispereing over and over, she seemed to be in shock. It couldent have helped her condition to have seen Kagome especially with what all has been going on latly.

"I'll be back later I have some... things I need to do. Call me if she wakes up or she gets better." Kouga said before walking out the front down down the massive amount of stairs and got in his car. He drove off to a big office building and went up to the 5th floor and into a office. He closed the door with a sign saying, KOUGA WOLFBAINE.
