Chapter 11: The Culprit.
Kagome awoke the next morning to the sound of someone singing. She peeked out the
door to find whoever it was. It turned out to be Ban. Kagome giggled quietly to herself
but not quietly enough for Bankotsu whipped around freezing as he saw Kagome standing by
the door holding the frame for support. He pouted. He had to admit that he did look kind
of ridiculous. He was in his bath robe with his Pajamas underneath holding a brush
pretending it was a microphone and a guitar. He blushed.
"That was...Intresting Ban." Kagome said softly giggles subsiding.
" Uh..Kagome what are you doing here?" Ban asked as he turned off the radio.
" Im suprised that im the only one here..You were singing and dancing quite....
enthusiastically so you were kinda....loud." Kagome said with a small smirk.
" Oh..Sorry..I didnt mean to get you up." Bankotsu replied.
" No problem..It's time i get up anyway.." Kagome said before glancing at his attire..
" Uh..You might wanna change before we go to the studio." Kagome said before retreating
back to her room.
Bankotsu quickly left the room praying that Kagome not tell the others about what
occured. He then changed into blue jeans and a white shirt. He went into the living room
to wait for the others and think about Kagome who was on his mind a lot more then usual.
While he was singing he was imagining it was Kagome he was singing to, Kagome he was
impressing...kagome he was with.
Meanwhile with Kagome she had just changed into a white tube top and a long
drawstring waist skirt with floral embroidery with lace up white heels. She steped out
her blue hair so dark it was almost black. Her crimson eyes scanning the room until they
fell on Bankotsu whos head was burried in his hands.
" Hey Ban..Whats wrong?" Kagome asked.
Kagome's quiet voice brought Bankotsu quickly out of his musings and startling
him. Kagome giggled as he jumped off of the couch. Kagome said that she was sorry she
didnt mean to startle him. He replied that it was okay.
Kagome examined what he was wearing and he did the same with her. This is the
scene that the others came upon. Except that only Bankotsu was checking out Kagome while
Kagome was digging through the refigirator....
"Argh! Do we have nothing to drink?" Kagome asked the men who looked guiltily at
eachother.
" Dont tell me you guys drank it all again..." Kagome said.
The guys just stayed silent.
" Oh well..Looks like we'll have to stop off somewhere then." Kagome said and walked out
the door to the elevator. It took a minute for the guys to gather there wits and dash
off after her. Kagome chuckled to herself already in the lobby before putting her
emotionless fascade on. Sesshoumaru arrived first after her. But there in the
lobby/main floor of the building were the spirit Detectives. Kagome scowled.
" What do you want Spirit Detectives?" Sesshoumaru asked coldly keeping an eye on them
making sure none of them moved towards Kagome.
" We want to know why you are here in Ningenkai." Karasu said.
" We are here to find the snitch who is leaking information to the southern lord about
Inutashio's plans, Now leave us alone we havent killed any pathetic beings or will we...
until we find the culprit then he and whoever follows him will die." Kagome said coldly
and swept past them all eager to get rid of the major headache that was developing.
Kagome stopped off at a small cafe and ordered a Latte. She then left to the
studio with her friends following her arguing with the pesky detectives that decided to
follow her as well. When Kagome got there they were all called to a board meeting.
Kagome took a seat and she overheard a conversation that the president of her recording
company was having. Her eyes widened considerably they were talking in youkai language.
She glanced at the others ot see if they noticed.
They did. This was the first time meeting the president and they were alone with
the culprit. Kagome glanced at Sesshoumaru only to find that his eyes went blood red.
He attacked. Kagome did nothing but watch the gruesome scene take place. Even some of
her own members and the spirit detectives had to turn away but not her. Kagome then
calmly opened up her cell. She simultaniously quit her job as a designer and singer.
"We finished our mission now lets go home." Kagome said to her men and friends.
She turned back to the spirit detectives.
" Dont worry were going back to Makai now. So...Get off of our backs." She said before
they all disappeared only to reapear in there penthouse and get packed. She teleported
there stuff to makai and the palace. She and the guys then put there cloaks on. This
time Kagome wore all white and the guys had all black cloaks.
They hiked through the forests and once they got to a deserted area in the center
of the forest they all seperated and left Kagome there to go and make sure that no one
was there. Then they revealed there youkai features. And Kagome opened a portal which
was swirling red and blue. She stepped through followed by the rest of them.
~~Meanwhile in Rekai.
The spirit Detectives reported everything that they had observed that they dubbed
important. Koenma then noded in understanding. All of a sudden a screen popped up to
show Kagome and the rest of the Hakai dissapear into a blue and red portal created of
an extremely powerful spell.
" Where did that portal lead?" Yusuke asked outloud.
" Back to Makai. Kagome's palace no doubt. Anyway..I dont have any missions for you
right now i will call you back when i do." Koenma said and dismissed the spirit
Detectives.
a/n: This chapter was kind of short but i have to go..Im going to the movies with my
friend so im trying to finish updating my story's asap!!! Ja ne!!!
