Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction / InuYasha Fan Fiction ❯ Love knows no boundries ❯ She calls me sister?? ( Chapter 26 )
Kanna walked next to the young man, Kohaku. If you took a closer look at her you could see faint roses on her otherwise so pale cheeks. As soon as they were beyond Naraku's castle they dared to loose their emotionless masks and smile shyly towards each other. Kanna could feel him take her hand and she felt the warmth from him seep into her skin. He was always so warm; she wanted to melt into him if she could.
- How are we going to do this? asked Kohaku.
- We shall try to get a message through to them, telling them that the ferry girl is in danger. I think the best way to go around is to get your sister. She still believes in you, said Kanna and stopped walking and looked up into his freckled face. "Ohh Kohaku, I love you…"
Kanna's black eyes widened when the thought hit her and she diverted her gaze. That was something she not had expected. She felt her cheeks grow warm and she felt the need to pant. "What is wrong with me?"
- Kanna-chan, is something wrong? asked Kohaku and was surprised when he saw her blush even deeper.
- It's nothing… she began and then she shook her white head and looked up into his dark green eyes.
She felt a bit awkward, him being over a head taller then her, she raised her up on her toes and put her arms around his neck and kissed him feverishly.
Kohaku was surprised but when he felt her soft lips crush against his own he soon found himself hugging her tight against his chest. Red passion filled his mind and instinct took over. His hands moved lower to her soft behind and he took a gentle hold on her to lift her up. He took a few steps towards a tree to support her weight against, once there he brought up the hem of her white kimono and pushed a leg in between her thighs. His hands gripped her hips as his tongue began an erotic battle with hers. He heard her mumbling his name over and over and it was like lightning a fire inside his body. She almost cried as her small hands found their way in under his short sleeved yukata. Her fingers burned a trail over his skin and he pushed his leg further up, making her gasp when he hit her womanhood.
- Kohaku… she breathed into his mouth.
- Kanna-chan, I have been dreaming about this for so long, whispered Kohaku, cupping her face in his palms.
- Y-you have?
- Yes, I love you so much, so much, said Kohaku and kissed her face.
- I love you too Kohaku-kun, I want to be with you, said Kanna and her mouth found his again.
"Gods, I want to be with you too Kanna-chan. But can we really? What would happen if Naraku-sama found out?"the thought was like a bucket of cold water. He gently pulled away, his breath caught in his throat.
- Kanna-chan, I really want to be with you as well, but I don't think it is wise to go any further, whispered Kohaku when he saw the hurt in her eyes.
- What do you mean?
- I would love to take you Kanna-chan, but what if Naraku-sama can smell what we have done? He will turn it against us.
Kanna flinched and crystal tears appeared in her black eyes. Yes their master would turn it against them and she would never forgive herself if Kohaku would get hurt. She buried her face into the crook of his neck and cried. Why did she had to be born from the worlds most cruellest demons?
Kohaku felt her distress and he pulled away and sat down on the ground, cradling her in his arms. He whispered how much he loved her and how they would try to help his sister and her friends to vanquish their evil master so they could live together as husband and wife.
- Husband and wife? She sniffled and looked up into his face.
- Yes Kanna, I want you to be my wife, he said and smiled softly. - Would you do me the honour of being my wife?
- YES!! she practically screamed and hugged him fiercely.
Kohaku let out his breathe that he had been holding and he responded to her warm answer.
- I love you Kanna-chan.
- I love you too Kohaku-kun, she answered with glittering black eyes.
They kissed again, not as passionately, more gentle and caring this time before they resumed their journey to find Kohaku's sister and friends.

High above the young couple was a figure on a feather, floating on the winds. Her dark red eyes were sad. Although she was happy for them, the gods knew just how happy, but their love was doomed unless Naraku were destroyed. "Little sister, Kohaku-kun, be careful with this. If he found out he will rip you apart." A few tears dropped onto her feather before she turned around and headed back to Naraku's castle.

Kagome stiffened where she lay in the arms of Miroku. She could feel a single shard. "Kohaku-kun?" she thought and rose to her feet and walked over to Sango. Miroku rubbed the sleep from his eyes and looked up just in time to see Kagome and Sango walk out of the camp. "Where are they going? Could it be girl talk again?" he shuddered, girl talks was something scary. He saw Kurama look suspicious as well and the males nodded towards each other and followed the girls to where they were going.
Sango looked at Kagome, uncertain that it was her brother the miko could sense.
- Yes, it is him, I am sure, said Kagome.
- Yes it is me aneue, please don't raise your weapons against us.
That voice, she knew that voice so well.
- Kohaku?
- Aneue, it is me and a… very close friend. Please, we do not mean any harm, said Kohaku and walked out into the moonlight.
- A close friend? Kohaku, who is it.
Kohaku turned around and took hold of Kanna's hand and helped her get into view.
Kagome gasped, but willed herself calm again when she saw that Kanna did not have a mirror. Instead she saw the girl… no not girl anymore. The ghost had grown from the last time they saw her.
- Aneue, we have come to warn you about Naraku-sama's new plans, said Kanna.
"She calls me sister? What is this?"thought Sango, still holding a firm grip around her sword.
- Naraku-sama wants to take that new woman who travels with you, the deity. He thinks that she can guide in to the realm beyond to get the shard that is located there.
- Why are you telling us this? Is this some kind of trap? asked Kagome suspiciously.
- Why is she calling me aneue? asked Sango.
- Because I have asked her to be my wife, so she will be your sister later on, said Kohaku and put and arm around Kanna's waist and pulled her close.
- You have what??!! Sango almost screamed.
- We love each other and…
- But.. but…
- Please aneue, understand me, I love her more than life itself and I want to be with her. But we can not be together unless Naraku is destroyed, so we have come to warn you about his plans, said Kohaku.
- Kohaku… whispered Sango and took a step further, looking closely at the pale little girl.
- Sango-chan, I think they are telling the truth, said Kagome.
Kanna nodded and reached into her kimono and held out the shard that once had been buried inside Kohaku's back. She gave it to Kagome so she could purify it.
- But…. you are still alive? breathed Sango.
- Yes, Kanna made it possible to remove it without the cost of my life. I have all my memories back and they pains me, but I am me again aneue, said Kohaku.
- How…?
- Naraku-sama don't believe I can read, but I can and I have learned quite a few powerful spells, healing spells, I healed my love even if I knew that he would remember his past. I would give my life for him, please take us to your camp so we can find a way to destroy Naraku.
The pleading inside the ghostly girl's voice did it. Both Sango and Kagome nodded and they walked back to camp. Inuyasha and the others were probably going to have a fit, but it was still worth a shot.
