Chapter 9~Night One!

~~~Hiei had found a pretty calm looking clearing with a spring near by. He had checked the place pretty thoroughly and didnt find anything of danger to either him or the miko except for the vines but the Miko's protective barrier was keeping them at bay. Hiei was a very edgy person to begin with and being in this forest at night just made him more so. But for the life of him he couldnt find anything out of the ordinary. So he made a small fire in the clearing and cooked a few fish he had caught easily in the spring. He looked at the miko from the corner of his eyes and could tell she was fidgety, and the spiky musky smell of her arousal was still very strong. She had wanted to take a bath before eating but he had told her it would be better to eat first, then when she got out she could sleep and get some rest as he planned to do. Except he would keep his Jagan open so even in rest he could keep alert to his surroundings.

"The fish is done." he told her with a bland emotionless tone. He would not let his demonic blood over ride his senses. ~~~Both ate without saying a word to one another. When Kagome was done, and she had eaten quickly, she stood up and secured the blanket around her more securely.

"Im going to take a bath now...dont peek or I'll sit you." she said automaticly, not thinking enough to catch what she had said till Hiei pointed it out.

"Sit me? Do I look like a dog to be commanded and obey?" he asked with a low growl. His large almond shaped eyes narrowing to look at her suspiciously. Kagome blushed and waved her hand.

"Sorry old habit..anyhow dont peek or I will purify your butt." she replied, with a serious warning in her tone. Hiei lifted a brow and looked at her like she was nuts.

"Hn..like I want to spy on a silly ningen bathing...thats beneath me miko." he stated and turned his head away to look at the fire. Kagome growled but held her tongue as she gave him a glare. Why did he remind her of Inuyasha somehow? His words were different and his demenor more calmer but his attitude was just the same. Arrogant and annoying. With a huff she turned on her heel and walked off towards the nice little spring she had seen earlier.

~~~After making sure that Hiei wouldnt be spying on her, not that she really thought he would. He seemed much more reserved than that, not perverted like Miroku. Oh how she missed that lecherous monk, and Sango and Shippo and Inuyasha and Kirara. She wished she was with them now. She would much more rather be hunting jewel shards and looking for Naraku than going through this forest with an annoying spiky haired demon who made her just want to jump his bones and have her way with him. Sighing she undressed and waded into the spring and let her body cool itself off with the feel of the deliciously cold water. She sighed again in bliss as the heat of her skin seemed to dim. She ducked underwater and let herself just swim around the shallow water, hoping most of the oil would come off. After coming up she grabbed some sand from the bottom and began to scrub her skin till it was red. She couldnt feel the oil on her anymore and the need to screw someone wasnt as strong as it was a bit earlier. She rested her head and back against a boulder half submerged in the water and closed her eyes with relief and contentment.

~~~Back at the fire, Hiei was starting to feel a bit wierd. His skin was tingling and his body felt hot. Not the sort of heat that comes with being half fire apparition, but with some other sort of heat. He stood and started to pace the area around the fire, trying to stretch and work out what ever it was that was making him feel this way. His stomache started to feel wierd then, like it was knotting in a painfull but not totally unpleasant way. Then he knew. He knew what was wrong. He was fucking horney as hell. With that realization he turned his head toward the fire and the remains of the fish. They must of been cultered with some sort of aphrodisiac that made a person aroused when eaten. Damn that fucking fox Inari. If he got his hands on that demon he was going to rip his tail off and shove it up where the sun didnt shine. He walked towards the spring to inform the miko of the new development. When he got there he was stopped dead in his tracks by the sight he saw before him.
