"KOUGA, LEMME OUT!" Samantha yelled as loud as she could, but it was no use,

Kouga ignored her, and kept telling her that she needed to learn how to treat him. She walked

over to the mass of blankets Kouga gave her for a bed, and plopped down onto them.

*Sigh* "I want out of here, I wonder what Kaela and the gang are up to? Kurama." *Sigh*

She was on her stomach, so she flipped over to her back. Her only scenery was a dusty floor,

4 dusty walls, with the wallpaper falling off. She also had the mass of blankets, a door, her food tray from lunch, a ceiling with a broken ceiling fan with a light fixture on it, also broken. There were no windows in the room, so it was dark.

"Samantha, it's time to talk." He opened the door, and let her out.

"Kouga? Your- your talking normal now!"

"You sound surprised, that was just an act. I knew your group was here to steal Naraku's spirit. It's not that difficult, I could smell you all a mile away." He grinned (like Inu-yasha's toothed grin), which made him look evil.

"You made me go through that for nothing!"

"You were quite amusing, too." Samantha glared at him, he only smiled.

"Ok, since you knew all that, why did you keep me captive?"

"Do you have to ask that?"

"Uh- yea, I have a right to know."

*Groan* "Ok, I've decided to keep you as my woman. It's that quite simple."

*SLAP* "KOUGA! I'M NOT PROPERTY! PLUS, I would never go out with you. EVER!" Kouga rubbed the spot where Samantha slapped him.

"I didn't deserve that. But, you deserve this." He took her arm, and threw her into the room again.

"I think you need some more time in here, don't you think?" He grinned the same grin again, then

shut the door.

"AW, KOUGA, COME ON, NOT AGAIN! AT LEAST CAN I HAVE SOME DECENT

FOOD NEXT TIME. PLEASE?" Samantha pounded on the door, then slumped down to the

floor, and squated on her feet.

"Kurama, I wish you were here."

"Come on, we can't just sit here and waste time, Lady Samantha needs us, she could

be in trouble."

"Kurama, we have to think up a plan first, you can't just barge in there without a plan. Besides,

why do you care about Lady Samantha?"

"Don't you know Hiei? Kurama loves Samantha, he has ever since they met."

"But, Lady Kaela. Kurama really never met Lady Samantha, did he?"

"Yes he did Sango, a long time ago. I'll tell you the story."

`~Flashback~`

"Kaela! We've been walking for two days straight. Can we rest now?"

"Ok Samantha, but just for ten minutes, we really need to get to the Youkai Counsel Meeting.

They say there's going to be promotions in store." Kaela grinned, Samantha groaned.

"Aw, who cares, I know I'm not getting promoted, I failed half the missions we were supposed to do." They rested for a while, then they were on their way again. They came to a iron gate, in front of a huge mansion, where the meeting was being held.

"Hello M'ladies. I am Kurama and this is Hiei, we will be helping you with your quest into the meeting. I'm assuming you, (he looked at Samantha) are Lady Samantha. And you are, ( looks at Kaela) Lady Kaela. Am I correct?"

"Yes Kurama. So what are we supposed to do exactly? The quest?"

"We are to make our way into the mansion, where they will have traps and tricks, that you have to get passed. This will be your final test for the promotion." Hiei stated, he sounded truly annoyed.

"Well, sorry for asking." Kaela said folding her arms, which meant she was mad.

"Let's go, I know I'm not getting promoted, so what have I to lose?" Samantha said going into the iron gate, into the castle, Kaela, Kurama and Hiei all followed, in that order.

"Wait Lady Samantha!" Kurama pushed Samantha out of the way, right when a swinging axe, hit where she was supposed to be.

"Whew. Thanks Kurama. Ok, let's keep going."

"I admire her spunk very much so." Kurama whispered to Hiei, he just rolled his eyes.

"Come on Kurama, you can do better than a wimpy woman. Don't get to cozy with her."

"Aw Hiei, you care about me." Kurama smiled at him, Hiei looked annoyed.

"No, I just don't want you to go soft, when the time comes to fight."

"Come on you slow pokes, my grandmother walks faster than you." Samantha yelled back to them. Kurama smiled at her, than ran up to her, Hiei just kept walking the way he was, he didn't care.

"Well, it seems quiet in here. Too quiet if you asked me." Samantha said looking around.

"Well, nobody asked you." Hiei said in a smart-ass attitude.

"Yea, well, I said it anyway Hiei, so just shut your mouth." Just then, this monster appeared in the path. It was a spider woman, with long, dirty, black, hair, fangs that were visible. Her spider body was yellow with black spots. She hissed really low.

"If you wish to pass, you must defeat me. And believe me, I'm not a very easy opponent. My name is Spinelay (pronounced Spin-a-lie), spider woman of the East." She smiled evily.

"Which one will die first? The blonde(Samantha) perhaps? Or the brunette(Kaela)?"

"Yes, the blonde will go first, but I'm telling you now, I'm not dying." Samantha smiled also evily.

"What a fool, she will die, she is very weak." Hiei said when Samantha stepped over to Spinelay.

"Your wrong Hiei, she is very powerful. She is the silver dragon, white wolf in the legends you hear of. She may look 15, but she is very old, in the feudal era. I should know, I was with her. I am the silver dragon, white tiger in the legends." Kaela said loking at Samantha.

"She- is? I've heard of those youkais, I never knew you were them." Kurama said surprised.

"Yes, watch her." Samantha started glowing silver, and there was a flash of light, and there stood Samantha, with a white, fluffy tail, wrapped around her waist, and a demon exterminator costume on, (like Sango's but instead of pink trim, it's green). Her eyes were now violet, and her blonde hair had silver streaks in them. She had white wings with silver lining, flowing out her back(dragon wings).

"That's her youkai self. Like Sesshomaru's self." Kaela said looking at the two men, they both had their mouths open in surprise.

'She's beautiful! I- I think I'm in love.' Kurama thought to himself, but Kaela can read minds so she heard him, she smiled at his comment, then looked back at Samantha.

"Bring it on spider lady." Samantha motioned Spinelay to her, she hissed, then charged at Samantha. Samantha dodged, then took out a kitana out of no where, and sliced through Spinelay's body. She screamed in pain, as a slit appeared on her spider part of her body.

"A kitana?"

"Yes Kurama. Samantha owns a Kitana. She calls it the 'death kitana', she loves it to death!"

"I've heard of that, a long time ago." Samantha smiled at Spinelay.

"You want some more? Hurts doesn't it?"

"You- you will die!" Spinelay jumped up, then charged at Samantha again. Her kitana started glowing white, then she raised it up. She swung her sword, and the light went toward Spinelay.

"What is that? Kurama asked looking amazed. The light went right through Spinelay, and she turned to dust, then blew away.

"That's her 'light of dust'. It's her pure spirit energy, driven into the kitana. She uses it to kill her opponent."

"Amazing." Hiei actually talked for once. Samantha went over to them, smiling.

"Well? What'd think?"

"Great as always Samantha, let's go. We need to get going." Kaela said starting off again, they all followed. They went through more traps and opponents, and everyone fought, till finally they got to their destination.

"Well, let's go Kaela. Let's go get you promoted." Samantha smiled at her.

"Hey, after that stunt back there, you might get promoted too." Kurama said smiling at her.

"No, that wasn't my full power, I'll probably get a pat on the back for that stunt."

"We will come inside, to see if you do." They all walked inside the room, where the youkai counsel were seated.

"Lady Kaela, Lady Samantha, Hiei and Kurama. Welcome to the Youkai Counsel Meeting for your promotions. Lady Samantha?"

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru?"

"You will get promoted to Lady of the Southern lands."

"I- I got promoted? I own my own land? Yes!"

"And Lady Kaela?"

"Yes Lord Naraku?"

"You will be promoted to the Lady of the Northern lands."

"Yes sir."

"You are dismissed, we will be checking up on you." They bowed, then left the room, but they were called in again.

"Lady Samantha, I need to see you outside. Right away."

*Laughing* "Yes Lord Naraku."

"And you too Lady Kaela."

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru." They were dismissed again, and the Ladies met the Lords outside.

"Samantha, we have to talk."

"Yes, Naraku? What is it?"

"You know that I love you right? Well, I think we need to break it off for a little bit, till I get everything straightned out. Ok? Are you ok with that?"

"Uh- I- I guess so." She put her head down.

"Don't cry, just a little while ok?"

"Y-y-yea o-ok." She walked away from Naraku, making him feel bad.

"Kaela, I have something to say to you."

"Yes Sesshomaru?"

"I'm breaking up with you. It's not working out."

"Ok, I'm fine with it."

"You are, good, that wasn't so bad."

"Yea, I gotta go see Samantha, she looks upset." Kaela ran to Samantha's side, she was crying.

"What's up? You ok?"

"Y-y-y-yea."

"Do you wanna tell me?"

"N-no."

"Ok, I can wait." Kaela walked back inside the mansion, and Samantha was left alone.

"Lady Samantha? Why are you crying on this lovely day?"

"Hmm? O-oh K-Kurama. No-thing. I'm f-fine."

"You don't sound fine. Are you upset about Lord Naraku?"

"How did you know?" She looked at him strange.

"I'll admit it, I was spying on you two. My apologies."

"It's ok. So you know what happened, right?"

"Yes. Let's sit down, we can talk about it."

"I- guess so." They sat down on a stone bench, and talked about things in general, and got to know each other. They talked so much, that they lost track of time, until Kaela came and got Samantha.

"Bye Kurama. I'll talk to you later. Ok?"

"Ok, bye Lady Samantha." He waved goodbye to her, she returned it.

"Does someone have a little crush on Kurama?"

"Who? Me? Nah. Not me." Samantha gave a sly smile, to tell Kaela she was lying.

"Yea, I can tell you this, he likes you, too."

"He does, cool." She had a bright smile on for the whole world to see.

`~End Flashback~`

"Wow, Kurama? Your that outgoing?" Kagome asked surprised.

"Yes. I would say that I am."

"Well, after hearing that story, I think I have a plan to rescue Lady Samantha." Inu-yasha stepped out of the shadows, with his toothed grin on.
