CHAPTER 8

 

 

 

 

 

 

~ Feudal Era ~

 

 

 

 

 

Brooke woke up in a dark bedroom; she was blinded by the moonlight. When she got up she felt wobbly, her legs felt as if the bones had just been ripped out of her skin. When she got up she fell to the floor. Her legs started to hurt her horribly. She tried countless times to get up, but she couldn't.

 

Suddenly she remembered going down the well, and hearing a girl scream. When she climbed out Naraku swiped her up. Then she looked around the room for sign of Kagome. She looked as far as she could see from the ground, but there was no sign of her. She pondered where she could be. She hoped she was okay. She didn't want anything bad to happen to her. She stared to crawl on the ground; she used her elbows to move, but her legs started to hurt with even more pain.

 

Brooke looked up when she heard the floorboard creak. She could see a shadow of something underneath the door. Whoever it was started to turn the door knob' Brooke tried to get away as fast as she could. She was worried that if it was Naraku, she didn't know what he would do to her. For the first time in her life she felt scared. She thought she was going to die. She didn't know what was going to happen. She wanted to be at home, with her brother. She wished she had never agreed to come.

 

The door swung opened, and Kagome went flying into the room; she hit the wall, and landed on the floor breathing hard. Brooke looked over to her, and saw in her eyes she looked extremely scared. Brooke wads worried about her health, and Kagome's. She didn't know how long she had been here. She looked up, and saw a girl; with black her, and a kimono. She had a fan in her hand. The girl glared down at her; then a little girl in all white stepped out from behind her and held her mirror out to her.

 

 

The girl looked up at the other woman; she nodded to her and walked toward Brooke. Something white was coming out of Brooke. She suddenly realized that it was her soul. The little girl was sucking her soul out of her. Brooke started to grow weak from the loss of energy. Brooke started to try, and get up. She started to walk toward the girl.

 

“Kanna” Kagura shouted at the little girl. “Why haven't you gotten her soul?”

 

“It's to big, just like Kagome's” the little responded in a hush tone.

 

Kagura stepped back, and threw a gust o wind at Brooke as she started for them both.

 

The wind knocked Brooke against the wall. She hit the pole on the bed; causing her to cough up blood. She started to bleed, she wished Hiei, Kurama, and Yuske were here to help her. She didn't want to die, not saying sorry to Hiei. She knew deep down that she had still loved him, but she was afraid of what she was doing. Brooke looked up.

 

Naraku was standing right in the back of Kanna and Kagura. She watched as he walked toward her. She tried to scream, but she couldn't. She knew no one would hear her. She felt as though her voice had been ripped away from her. Brooke suddenly blacked out as Naraku reached down to her clothes. She heard a young girl scream as she shut her eyes.

 

~ Present ~

”SHE WHAT?!” Yuske grew angry. Hiei had just told him, that Brooke, and Kagome had left to the feudal era. Kurama and Yuske ran out the door to the well. When they got out there; they saw a half demon in a gouty red outfit, and had a fang. (Sword) Hiei stepped out, and saw the young man. Yuske recognized the man from their last visit to the feudal era.

 

“Your Inuyasha” right? Yuske asked

 

“Yes” he said. Kagome, and your sister have been kidnapped.

 

Yuske started to clench his fists. “By who” Hiei asked growing angry. Kurama looked at him, and could see the fire in his eyes. He knew that Hiei still yearned for the girls touch; he still loved her.

 

“Naraku” Inuyasha said coldly. They all ran to the well. And they all went down the well.

 

~ Feudal Era ~

 

When they got there it was dark, and cold. They could here the rustling of the tree leaves. Hiei jumped out of the well. Hiei looked up, he could smell Brooke's blood. He knew she had been hurt. He started to clench his katana in his hand. The others climbed out of the well. They all ran off into the dark, but Hiei ran ahead of them.

 

 

 

 

 

~ Later ~

 

Brooke woke up with blood on her face, and blood running down her arms. She was tied to a bed. She had wire tied tightly around her wrists. She tried to move, but that only brought more blood to come out of her wrists. She started to whimper. She was upset, but couldn't cry. She looked around the room to see if Kagome was in the room.

 

Kagome was lying on the floor; her body was all cut up. She was bleeding all over her body, she noticed Kagome trying to move, but failed. Brooke's attention was distracted to a creak in a floor board. She looked up, and saw Naraku smiling at her. She started to squirm. She was scared of what he might do to her.

 

She started to move around as he came closer to her body. Her wrists started to bleed a lot; the pain was unbearable; she couldn't stand it anymore. She wanted to cry, scream as loud as she could. She wanted someone to hear her. She didn't care who it was. She wanted to be at home in her own bed by herself. She felt Naraku's hand touch her body. She got goose bumps up and down her body. She was cold, and scared.

 

Naraku slid his hand up and down her body. She started to cry. She knew what he was about to do to her. He started to twirl the bottom of her shirt in between his fingers.

 

Naraku ripped her shirt off, she was wearing a see through white tank top underneath her shirt. He started to unzip her pants. She started to cry, she had tears running down her face. She tried hard to fight him. She started to get dizzy; everything was going black around her. she was losing to much blood. She started screaming at the top of her lungs. She coughed up blood, she spit in Naraku's face. He snatched her head up, and grinned at her, and kissed her; he tried to put his tongue in her mouth, but she refused it. Naraku squeezed the sides of her cheeks, causing her to open her mouth. He stuck his tongue in her mouth. She felt disgusting. Her body was hurting her horribly. He was taking advantage of her while she was weak.

 

 

Brooke tired to fight him, but she was growing weak, she suddenly stopped, and didn't do anything. She could no longer move. He was roaming her body freely, and she couldn't do anything, but scream. She started screaming, and was crying, but Naraku covered her mouth. And she just laid there, as he used her.

 

 

 

 

Hiei looked around he saw a barrier. He looked over to the other guys. He saw a monk and a girl on a flying cat above them.

 

“INUYASHA” the girl called from above. “There's a barrier”

 

“Alright, Sango” He called.

 

Inuyasha jumped ahead of them, and cut straight through the barrier. The two on the flying cat carried on. Yuske started running when he heard a girl screaming. Hiei took off as fast as he could. He left the others behind him, he heard Brooke screaming. He knew it was her. As he approached he saw a castle.

 

He could smell blood, it was everywhere, and it was Brooke's blood. He jumped onto the balcony of the castle. He saw Naraku in the room on top of Brooke she was tied up, and was bleeding all over. She was on the verge of death. Naraku's attention was drawn to Hiei who came running after him, but suddenly stopped dead in his tracks. Kagome, and Brooke were both glowing from spiritual light, and power. It was growing bright. Naraku started to back away from them both. Brooke's eyes where stained red, her and Kagome.

 

Suddenly a piercing light went through Naraku, and the barrier protecting him. It didn't kill him, but it nearly did. He was gone. There wasn't a trace of him left. Brooke woke up, she started to scream. She saw Hiei just staring at her half naked body.

 

He ran over to her, and saw the wire around her wrists. He ripped it off of her. She was bleeding all over. She curled into a ball, and started to cry. She was cold, and hurt. Hiei looked to her, He wanted to reach out to her, but she felt so far away. Hiei wanted to kill Naraku for hat he had done to her. He destroyed the girl he had fallen in love with.

 

 

She looked cold, her body wasn't moving. She wouldn't smile anymore without showing fear. She looked scared. She started shivering.

 

 

Hiei walked over to her side. She was crying. He just stood there, and then he took off his black

Robe, and raped it around her. She just froze; she completely stopped moving. Hiei hated the feeling he was getting when she just sat there frozen.

 

I'm sorry. Brooke was thinking. What did I do to deserve this? She asked herself.

 

He heard her speaking to herself in her mind. No one asks for this. Hiei said. Brooke turned over trying to encore the pain, but her face was showing it all. Hiei reached down t help her.

 

“Why are you here?” Brooke asked.

 

“I heard you screaming” he replied She stared at him wide eyed for a little while, but she then turned her head away from him.

 

Hiei just stayed by her side; he didn't say anything. He stood up when he heard Inuyasha and the others coming. Yuske was the first to jump on the balcony. He saw blood everywhere. He saw Brooke lying in a bed; she was covered in Hiei's black Robe. He saw Kagome on the floor. Inuyasha ran to her side.

 

Inuyasha picked up Kagome. He looked as if he were about to cry, suddenly Kagome woke up. Her face was red and blood stained. She started to smile at him. She was grateful he came for her.

 

“I thought you were never going to come” she said.

 

 

“Kagome….I will always protect you, I'm sorry I wasn't here” He said Kagome put her hand on his face and smiled, then she blacked out. Inuyasha got up and carried her all the way to Kaede's village.

 

 

Yuske ran over to Brooke, and he just stared in horror at the way she looked. Yuske fell to the ground.

 

“DAMN” Yuske punched the floor of the abandoned castle. Yuske kept his head down towards his chest; he started to cry lightly. He was hurting for his sister. He wasn't there to help her.

 

Kurama stared at her. Hiei looked back at him. Kurama placed his hand over his mouth. He couldn't move. He felt frozen in his foot steps.
