Kagome awoke the next morning feeling somewhat more relaxed than the night before. The early morning light spilled threw the heavy blue curtains giving the room a somewhat otherworldly glow. Smiling to herself Kagome shifted and lazily stretched her stiff muscles.

With a sigh of regret she threw back the covers on pulled herself out bed, planting her bare feet on the cold stone floor. Yawning she made her way into her private hot spring that was connected to her room. Peeling off her white silk nightgown she slid into the steaming water. With a moan of pleasure she dipped below the shining surface.

Surfacing she pushed her hair out of her eyes and began to wash. After a very relaxing twenty minutes she decided it was time she got out and prepared to face the day, and also she noticed with some amusement her fingers were beginning to resemble raisins.

After drying off Kagome slipped into a robe and headed back into her room. Moving to the large mahogany wardrobe she pulled open the doors and began her search for something to wear. After tossing out several possibilities she finally decided on a black kimono with deep burgundy red trim and sash. Pulling her hair up into a tight bun she slipped on the matching black slippers and did one more quick turn in front of the mirror before leaving her room.

She had a quick yet satisfying breakfast in the dinning hall with Rin and Shippo before making her way to Sesshomaru's study for this morning's meeting with the lords. After navigating the twisting hallways Kagome arrived at hr destination. She gave one hard knock on the doors, and not waiting for the command to enter made her way inside.

After a bow and small greeting to Sesshomaru and each of the lords Kagome quietly took her seat and waited for the "fun" to begin. " Now that we are all present," Sesshomaru's commanding voice echoed threw the room. " We shall begin. The threat that Naraku presents is one of most seriousness. The matter must be dealt with immediately, so if you would please tell us what you would like to know about this enemy Kagome I'm sure would be happy to answer you questions." Kagome gave a short nod to affirm his statement before once again seeming to drift off into her own little world.

" Lord Sesshomaru the problem really isn't that we don't know enough about our enemy. Our intelligence had been able to dig up plenty of information. The problem is that none of our plans of attack seem to have any affect." Kane said in a defensive tone. " Hum." Was all Sesshomaru said before leaning back in his chair and letting the room lapse into silence.

" Very well," Sesshomaru said after a few tense minutes. ` I believe I have a solution to your problem…" " Well what is it!" Kane demanded impatiently. " Kagome should return to maikai with you and help you in battle." "WHAT!" Four voices yelled simultaneously.
