If you are checking the update, all I did was change the spacing to make it easier to read, all of the updates are just spacing changes, and the storyline did not change at all. I did just put op a new chapter though, that ones new!!!

 

Hay People, I really hope that you all like this next chapter! Thank you to everyone who reviewed, you all keep me going. Vagabond this chapter has more Kohoku, thanks for reminding me about him, it inspired me and helped get me past a plot-hole. Yoko's and Kurama's Actions

 

 

***The feudal era***

 

InuYasha had just sat and stared at the well since Kagome had left. He didn't move he didn't blink he just glared at that well. Miroku and Kohoku had come over and tried to snap him out of it a few times but it never worked.

 

`What does he have that I don't? Why would Kagome choose him over me? The next time I see him he's dead, Ill kill him for taking my Kagome!' InuYasha just sat and glared in thought.

 

Miroku came up to him fallowed by Kohoku.

 

“Come on InuYasha, you have to snap out of it… Kagome will be back soon… InuYasha come back to Kaede's hut, come one InuYasha… come get some food!” Miroku said trying to stop the depressed dog's mood.

 

“I'm not hungry.” Replied InuYasha.

 

Miroku thought for a few seconds… “OH NO, NARAKU IS ATTACKING THE VILLAGE, quick InuYasha we have to go stop him, and he's hiding in Kaede's hut.” Miroku looked panicked as he looked InuYasha for a reply.

 

“I don't smell Naraku.” InuYasha said keeping an ice-cold stare at Miroku.

 

`Shoot I forgot all about his sense of smell, darnet maybe something else. What will make him move?' Miroku thought.

 

“InuYasha it Kikyo!!! She is hiding in Kaede's hut! Don't you want to go see her InuYasha?” Miroku tried again.

 

“Miroku, shut up or Ill show you what I'm going to show that no good rotten Kagome stealer.” InuYasha said.

 

“I take it you mean Kurama?” Miroku said glad to change the subject. InuYasha cringed at Kurama's name.

 

“Don't worry InuYasha, Kagome has always come back to you. What makes this time any different?” Miroku said trying to cheer up his friend.

 

“This time she likes him back, they almost kissed Miroku.” InuYasha said biting his in anger.

 

“THEY WHAT!! Wow, shows what I know…I mean that doesn't really mean anything InuYasha, I'm sure its just a fling if its anything, I'm sure that…” InuYasha cut off Miroku.

 

“Save it Miroku, you convincing me that Kagome will come back to me is like me convincing you Sango will stay with you.” InuYasha said.

 

Miroku thought for a second then realized what he was saying.

 

“Wait what do you mean convincing me that Sango is going to stay with me, she never left me and she's not going too!” Miroku said in anger.

 

“Oh come on Miroku, and people say I'm dumb. Who has Sango been hanging out with a lot lately?” This was making InuYasha feel better about himself.

 

“Miss Sango has been hanging out with that Hiei person.” Kohoku added his impute for the first time in a while. “I don't remember too much about Miss Sango or know much about Hiei but he saved my life. Hiei saved my life and Sango's so as far as I can tell it would be okay for Miss Sango to be with Hiei, do you think they are?” Kohoku finished with a monk glaring at him.

 

“Sure Kid,” Said InuYasha with a grin on his face.

 

“NO THEY MOST CERTANLY ARE NOT!!!” Miroku calmed down a little. “What I mean is Sango hates Hiei and he hates her back, there is no way they could get together.” Miroku said trying to convince himself more then Kohoku.

 

“Oh well I don't know what to think either way, but he has saved her a lot of times. I wonder why mister Hiei carried Sango back if he hated her so much?” Kohoku said ruining any hope the monk had.

 

“UM…. Kohoku why don't you go down to Kaede's hut, I think she needs some…maybe she needs some help cleaning up.” Miroku said to get rid of the little demon slayer.

 

“Okay but if miss Sango comes back then get me, I really hope she is all right.” Kohoku said as he thought of how she was injured when she left.

 

Miroku just sat there as he absorbed this information. `No, no, they hate each other, I'm sure of it, they hate each other! I have nothing absolutely nothing to worry about.' Miroku thought.

 

InuYasha also sat there thinking `Dumb monk, cant see the truth.' Then it hit him, `wait am I like that? No. Kagome will come back, like Miroku said she has always come back. If she could avoid Koga then Kurama will be no trouble, shell come back to me.' InuYasha said as he stared at the well.

 

As InuYasha starred at the well he suddenly smelled something…it was Kurama, but not quite Kurama. Also he smelled Kagome's blood on him.

 

“Miroku get out of here now, I have some unfinished business to settle.” InuYasha said as he removed his Tetsusaiga from its sheath.

 

Miroku could sense that the well had just activated, he knew it had to be Kurama, he knew he could not stop InuYasha from fighting him. He decided to go behind a tree incase things got out of control.

 

Out of the well jumped a white blur, it stopped directly in front of InuYasha.

“Heh, I've seen you in that form before, you don't scare me! I'm going to kill you.” InuYasha said as he lunged at Yoko.

 

Yoko merely dodged his attack, pulled out a handful of seeds and within seconds InuYasha was trapped in a net of vines, roots, and leafs. He couldn't move and Yoko was already gone, run away off to some unknown place.

 

Miroku was astonished, it happened so fast. One minuet InuYasha was attacking the next he is all tied up and cant even talk because a vine is on his mouth.

 

“Ghere meres ourat ofoe theo.” Miroku couldn't understand what InuYasha was saying but knew he had to get him out soon because InuYasha would go ballistic if he didn't.

Kohoku came up the hill; Kaede did not need his help at all. Kohoku saw Miroku pulling on what looked like a root rapped around InuYasha.

 

“What happened?” asked Kohoku.

 

“Kurama came out and…wow, this is really on tight InuYasha.” Miroku said taking a break from tugging.

 

“I know ill use my wind tunnel, I'm sure the vines will give way soon.” Miroku said as he started to undo his prayer beads that kept his wind tunnel at bay.

 

InuYasha did not like the sound of being sucked into the wind tunnel. He was shaking his head fiercely and saying unintelligible curses and screaming at Miroku threw the roots.

 

“Okay, Okay, it was just a suggestion. Gosh.” Right when Miroku stopped they herd another string of curses and the well activated.

 

“Ill say it one more time PUT ME DOWN YOU CYCO, UNITELIGENT, PATHETIC, HOMICIDAL, MORON, SPIKY BASTA**, WEAK, CRAZY MIDGET!!!!!” Sango screamed at the top of her lugs.

 

Hiei was glaring at her in a way that took “I hate you” to a whole new level.

 

“SHUT UP.” Hiei screamed even louder, he felt like his ear drums were going to bleed.

 

“WHY DON'T YOU MAKE ME YOU…” Sango was thrown out of the well by a seriously peeved off Hiei.

 

“THINK YOU ANNOYING CRAZY MORTAL! YOU'RE INJURED! ANY PERSON WITH HALF A BRAIN WOULD KNOW NOT TO INSULT SOMONE STRONGER THEN THEM WHO IS NOT INJURED.” Hiei was angrier then Kagome had ever seen him.

 

“Come on you too, you fight like an old married couple, stop it.” Kagome got very strong glares from both of them as she got out of the well.

 

“If you want to live I suggest you keep your mouth shut.” Hiei said.

 

“Leave my friend alone, even though I'm not worried about her, you couldn't kill a flea let alone Kagome.” Sango said getting up from where she had been thrown.

 

“I will kill you, as a matter of fact I might even end you right now.” Hiei said as he lunged at Sango.

 

“Stop it guys. Look what happened to InuYasha?” asked Kagome.

 

InuYasha just glared at her, he didn't want help from her.

 

Hiei didn't care he was still going to kill that annoying slayer if it was the last thing he did, as he went towered her she just glared at him.

 

Sango was braced for the attack but Kohoku jumped in front of her. Hiei immediately stopped his attack; he didn't want to kill the slayers brother.

 

“Leave my sister alone, if you want to get her attention so much why don't you just tell her you like her.” Kohoku said not really realizing he was tempting death.

 

“I hate her more then I hate Kuwabara, I want to kill her you are in my way.” Hiei said glaring at the small slayer.

 

“Whatever.” Kohoku shrugged as he walked away from Sango, he had done what he wanted though Hiei was not attacking Sango instead he glared at her and walked away as if attacking her would have proved Kohoku's point.

 

Sango was somewhat in shock `he couldn't, no, like he said he hates me. Well I hate him more.' Sango was determined.

 

“Sango could you cut InuYasha out?” asked Kagome as she tried to pull off the roots.

 

“Sure.” Sango got up slowly but before she made it to InuYasha Hiei had already cut off every single root into mulch.

 

“Whose faster slayer.” Hiei said trying to intimidate Sango.

 

“I out to.” Sango was cut off by a half demon that was really glad he could talk again.

 

“Shut up you two lets go find that traitor.” InuYasha looked at Kagome and saw her cut on her leg and her arm. “Did the fox give you those cuts Kagome?” InuYasha said with a look of annoyance yet triumph in his eyes.

 

“No InuYasha, well sort of.” Kagome whispered.

 

“What does sort of mean?” asked InuYasha.

 

“That's not Kurama, he's mind controlled or something.” Said Kagome.

 

“Sounds like a boldfaced lie, where is he, I'm going to kill him.” Said InuYasha.

 

“Your not going to touch the fox, ill make sure of that.” Hiei said.

 

Sango wondered about that, it was the first time Hiei had ever been protective over one of his friends… err um I mean teammates.

 

“What happened Miss Sango?” Kohoku asked as he realized she was still quite hurt.

 

“Why didn't the doctors make you better?” asked Kohoku as he studied his sister.

 

“It's nothing Kohoku.” Sango lied.

 

“No Sango it is something. You need to rest, maybe after some of Kaede's medicine you will feel better.” Miroku said trying to stop Sango from hurting herself more.

 

“No we have to go after Kurama.” Sango said because she didn't want to be left out of the action.

 

Miroku looked around, it was still nighttime.

 

“No Sango we shouldn't go after Kurama tonight, its dark and we wouldn't find him. Even if we did find him he would have an advantage of seeing in the dark, lets just re-coup and wait till morning.” Miroku defended.

 

“Heh, I ain't waiting!” InuYasha said.

 

“InuYasha, Kagome is hurt too, she shouldn't strain herself with her wounds, if you go she will follow you and if she does you will be responsible for anything that happens to her.” Miroku said. He really didn't want to see Sango hurt and knew she couldn't be left out of any action.

 

“Hn, You can't stop me.” Hiei said glaring at Miroku. He wanted to stop Kurama from doing anything drastic.

 

“Your right Hiei, I can't stop you. But what happens if you find Kurama, what will you do? Will you kill him, will you hurt him?” Miroku stopped; he didn't care if Hiei went off to fight Kurama.

 

“Hay crazy midget, you should take some of your own advice, if you are injured which you are you shouldn't fight someone who isn't. He will kill you in a second because of your injuries he put on you earlier. From what I can tell he is stronger then you so you should just shut up and wait like the rest of us.” Sango said. It wasn't that she was worried about him she just…she just didn't want his tracking skills to go to waist. Yeah that's it.

 

“Also you know where Yusuke is. I don't know how to get to spirit world and you need to get Yusuke.” Kagome said.

 

Hiei just rolled his eyes “Hn whatever.” Hiei would stay. `I don't care about getting hurt but I will stay and wait for these people. Kurama is strong enough to live.' With that thought, he followed the others off to Kaede's village.

 

 

***In the woods with Kurama. ***

 

Yoko had run for hours with the sacred jewel shards held tightly in his grasp, then as suddenly as it started Kurama gained control. Kurama stopped running and stood there.

`I guess whoever was possessing me ran out of energy.' Kurama looked around for any signs to where he was.

 

`I don't know these woods, I have no idea where I am or where anyone else is.' I cant sense anything dangerous and my sense of smell cant get past all this woodland life.' Kurama suddenly realized exactly what happened. He looked down at his hands, they had blood on them…Kagome's blood.

 

“I'm sorry Kagome, I couldn't stop it, I tried but I couldn't.” Kurama was getting filled with rage.

 

“When I find out who did this to me, who made me hurt Hiei and Kagome, I'm going to stop whoever is doing this.” Kurama held back the instinct to do major damage to the woods around him.

 

Kurama knew he couldn't find them tonight and he had no energy after the possession so he made a few plants come up and make a hammock up in a high tree. `Don't worry Kagome; I will stop whoever is doing this. But even if I do, will you still want to be with me? Can you forgive me Kagome.' With these last thought's Kurama drifted off to sleep hoping that he could stop whoever made him betray his friends.

 

 

***Kaede's Hut. ***

 

Mostly everyone had gone to sleep. Well most of the guy's had. Sango and Kagome were still awake. Sango was watching Shippo curled up on Kirara. She was glad Kirara had healed up okay. To tell the truth the medicine that Kaede had given her was taking effect, she was feeling better every second.

 

Sango switched views and looked out the window. She saw a tree and in the tree she saw Hiei, still very wide-awake keeping a look out.

 

“What are you looking at?” Whispered Kagome.

 

“Nothing, its nothing Kagome.” Sango replied.

 

The room that Sango was in only had herself, Shippo, Kirara, Kagome, and Kohoku sleeping in the corner the others were in other rooms.

 

“I don't believe you, I think your looking at a certain fire demon.” Kagome said with one of her all knowing grins.

 

“Shut up Kagome, why would I be watching him?” Sango just looked at Kagome.

 

“Okay Sango, I want you to tell the truth, what happened in the hospital between the two of you?” Kagome watched her friends every movement.

 

“What, what do you mean, nothing happened!” Sango said beginning to sweat a little.

“You can't fool me Sango, now spill it.” Kagome said.

 

“It just…okay Kagome.” Sango took a deep breath. “As you know I was in a coma, it was very, very dark, and cold, oh Kagome it was so cold.” Sango looked at Kagome then continued. “I was all alone and…okay Ill admit it, I was scared. Then out of nowhere comes Hiei. He came up to me and I barely heard him it was so cold and dark. He lightly touched me on the shoulder; I guess he was trying to get my attention. Then I felt the warmth in his hand, I knew he was warmer. So I…I…” Sango didn't want to say anymore.

 

“Go on what happened.” A very excited Kagome asked.

 

“I hugged him.” Sango looked down ashamed.

 

“YOU WHAT” Kagome yelled probably waking the whole hut up.

 

“Shhh, not so loud. It was out of desperation Kagome, I mean it.” Sango defended herself.

 

“What did he do?” asked Kagome.

 

“He just let me hug him, he kind of hugged back.” Said Sango.

 

“Oh wow Sango I didn't know that you really did like each other.” Kagome said.

“No Kagome of course we don't like each other, it was just out of desperation, I needed to get warm. I don't like him Kagome, I hate him.” Sango said.

 

“Fine, whatever you say.” Kagome smiled.

 

Sango just rolled her eyes. `At least I think I don't like him like that.'

 

Up in a tree outside Sango's window Hiei had listened to the whole conversation. `Of course, out of desperation.' Hiei growled in anger. `Of course she would never like me, how could she? Not that I liked her but she should be honored to even be allowed in my space, honored that I saved her.' Hiei was angry, he wasn't completely sure why hearing Sango didn't like him made him so angry. `Oh well just another dumb human.' Hiei said as he went to another tree further away anger pulling at him, `its not like I liked her anyway.'

 

“Hay Kagome, I noticed something else.” Sango said.

 

“What could that be Sango?” asked a Kagome praying that Sango didn't know about her and Kurama.

 

“While I was sleeping in the hospital I woke up because of a pain in my leg. When it went away I looked over just to see if you were okay and do you know what I saw?” Sango asked.

 

“I don't have the slightest idea.” Kagome lied, a huge blush coming to her cheeks.

 

“Threw the curtains I could see a certain Kagome kissing a certain fox. I wonder who I saw.” Sango said very happy the pressure was now on Kagome.

 

“So does this mean that you are a couple, that is when we find Kurama?” Sango asked.

 

“Oh, I don't know, I really like Kurama.” Kagome blushed a deeper shade of red.

 

“Well it seems like this has been a very, very long night, goodnight Kagome.” Sango said, as she got more comfortable.

 

“Goodnight Sango.” Kagome's thoughts were on a certain foxes kiss and Sango's were on a fire demon. `Wow, maybe I do like him…oh no.' Sango knew that she shouldn't, she wasn't supposed to like demons, just hunt them.

 

Outside Hiei was keeping a look out with his Jagon, he was looking for Yoko. He finally gave up, he was exhausted from fighting Yoko and all the slayers, and he was ready for sleep. But the one thing that pledged his conscious was a certain demon slayer. He knew he hated her but maybe, just maybe there was a little chance of something more.

 

 

***The Demon Slayers Cave. ***

 

Crece and Soloc were sitting in the cave.

 

“I ran out of energy Soloc, I couldn't keep it up.” Crece said.

 

“Don't worry master, your energy will come back.” Soloc said hopefully.

 

“Yes, in a day it should be recharged, then we can have the jewel shards, he will deliver them too us.” Crece smiled.

 

“Master, the cage is ready. Are you sure it will hold him?” asked Soloc.

 

“Of course it will hold him, when my energy is about to run out I will just put him in the cage and then I will let him out to do my bidding when I control him. It's a perfect plan now that I know exactly how much energy I need.” Crece closed his eyes.

 

“But Master won't the others come looking for him?” asked Soloc.

 

“Yes they will and when they do I will make him kill them. They should just leave me alone or else they will end up killing their friend.” Crece smiled.

 

Soloc looked at Crece uneasily, he did not like what Crece was doing. All the slayers wanted to do was live alone in peace and hopefully catch Naraku's servants one day. What he told the travelers was no lie, they were waiting for Naraku but Soloc was sent to put the traps down just for them because Crece wanted the Yoko hair.

 

“Soloc, I want you to go locate Kurama and keep an eye on him.” Crece looked at Soloc.

“Yes Master but why do you need to know about him?” Soloc asked.

 

“Think of him as a test subject, I can only see him when I'm possessing him but when I'm not I have no idea if he is close to finding me or his friends or anything. With that said I want you to watch after him until I get the energy to control him, okay Soloc?” Crece said as he inspected his slave.

 

“Yes Sir, of course.” Soloc didn't want to even get close to Kurama; he knew Kurama could kill him if he found out that he was a spy.

 

“Good Soloc, now go and don't come back until he's under my control. Also stop him from finding out that its me or anything to do with this cave by any means necessary.” Crece smiled evilly.

 

“Yes Master.” Soloc bowed and ran off, `great now what am I going to do?' Soloc went off to find the one that so many people were looking for, off to find Kurama.

 

 

***Back at Kaede's hut, Morning. ***

 

It was very early in the morning. Everyone was waking up…very slowly.

“InuYasha get up! InuYasha!” This was the first time Kagome had ever had trouble waking InuYasha up, but it turns out he had gone many nights without sleep thanks to not trusting the spirit detectives.

 

“Alright InuYasha, you asked for it SIT, SIT, SIT and SIT InuYasha.” Kagome looked down at the poor dog demon.

 

“Ow ow ow ow ow. Alright already I'm up!” a grumpy InuYasha said.

 

Although Kagome was up most of the night worrying about Kurama she was still quite awake and chipper, much to the annoyance of the others.

 

“I know, I think I'm going to make breakfast! After all it's the most important meal of the day.” Kagome began to unpack some of her food items.

 

After she unpacked all of her items she realized something and she looked around.

“Has anyone seen Hiei? I need to ask him a favor.” Kagome asked.

 

“What in the world do you need him for, he's useless.” Sango said but to her dismay there was no snide remark or yell in defense, Hiei seriously wasn't there.

 

“Hiei are you out there?…Hay Hiei!” Kagome looked around but there was still no sign of Hiei.

 

“Don't worry ill go find the spiky haired midget.” Sango said as she began to go into the woods.

 

“Sango that's not a good idea, you aren't even healed completely.” Kagome began.

 

“Don't sweat it, I'm fine. If you haven't noticed I'm walking just fine.” Sango said proudly.

 

“Okay but be careful.” Kagome said not really sure she should let Sango do this.

 

“Well what do you want him for?” Sango asked.

 

“I need him to go back to my time and get Yusuke and Kuwabara. I bet they will be wanting to know about Kurama.” a look of sadness came over Kagome when she mentioned Kurama's name.

 

“Fine ill tell him, come on Kirara.” Sango said as she got on the completely healed up two tailed cat demon.

 

In a few seconds Sango was up in the sky and on her way to go try and find the elusive Hiei.

 

“Do you think she will be okay?” asked Miroku.

 

“Heh, she can take care of herself.” InuYasha grunted, he just wanted to eat breakfast.

 

“Yeah, I know she can.” Kagome said as she began to put together something to eat.

 

 

***With Sango***

 

Sango flew on Kirara above the woods.

 

“If I was a crazed, idiotic, midget where would I be?” Sango thought as she looked around.

 

As she flew she noticed a bunch of dead carcasses down by a stream, she decided to go there.

 

Sango landed on the streams bank and she saw Hiei blowing off some steam by killing a weak lesser demon that was about a foot tall.

 

“Hay I see you took my advice and went to pick on someone your own size!” Sango yelled out to Hiei.

 

Hiei did not take the insult lightly, he lunged and Sango, he was clearly angry about something.

 

Sango quickly pulled out her sword and blocked his attack, Hiei returned by kicking her in the jaw, hard.

 

Sango spit out some blood then punched him in the gut. Hiei grabbed the sward again but Kirara didn't like him using it so Kirara grabbed the sward in her mouth and threw it. Being an honorable fighter Sango decided she should probably throw her sward away too, but then she got a good look at how cocky Hiei was being she decided instead to try and cut off one of his arms.

 

“What's your problem shorty? You finally measure yourself.” Sango chuckled while dodging his attacks.

 

Hiei just glared at her and decided not to take it easy on her, in a second she was on the ground, no knife at her throat this time, she was just on the ground and he was walking the other way.

 

“What's the matter? Don't want to finish your battle?” Yelled Sango as she got up.

“Hn, you and I both know I could have killed you a hundred times already.” Hiei replied, as he didn't stop, he just kept walking.

 

“Then why didn't you?” Sango's question made Hiei pause if only for a second then he ignored her question and kept walking.

 

Sango really did want to know the answer, she really did wonder why he had spared and saved her life all those times, so she asked again. “I'm talking to you, answer me! Why don't you?”

 

Hiei turned around this time, “I don't want to anger your friends, then I would have to kill them too and I don't want to waist my time.” Hiei said with confidence in his voice but Sango knew that wasn't it, there was something else.

 

“Whatever Midget, anyway I was sent to get you.” Sango said glaring at the lying demon.

“Hn, get me for what?” Hiei asked still not moving from his spot.

 

“Kagome needs you to get Yusuke and Kuwabara, she thinks they should know about Kurama.” Sango said.

 

“Fine, ill get them, you can leave now.” Hiei said as he turned away from her.

 

“Someone got up on the wrong side of the tree.” Sango said as she got on Kirara and flew away.

 

`Why don't I kill her, I could easily. Well then I would have to deal with Koenma and get sentenced for killing another human that was supposed to be one of our allies. She should stop tempting death.' Hiei though as he went back to the Well to go get Yusuke and Kuwabara.

 

 

***Kaede's hut***

 

Kagome looked up in the sky and finally saw what she had been waiting to see; Sango flew in on Kirara and landed.

 

“Oh I'm glade your okay…hay where's Hiei?” Kagome asked.

 

“The pompous fool said he would get them after all he does still have a jewel shard.” Sango said.

 

“He what!!! Kagome why didn't you take it back?” Whined InuYasha.

 

“I just forgot InuYasha, anyway he is one of our teammates so we have to learn to trust him and the other spirit detectives.” Kagome tried to convince the stubborn half demon.

InuYasha just grumbled and rolled his eyes, he didn't want to have anything to do with the spirit detectives.

 

Kagome then herd a little whining behind her. She followed the sound to the back of Kaede's hut. There crying was little Shippo.

 

Kagome sat down next to Shippo and held him in her arms.

 

“Shhh, what's wrong sweetie? What's the matter?” She comforted the little fox.

 

“I…I miss Kurama!” The little fox wailed.

 

“Oh sweetie don't worry, we will see Kurama soon. Don't worry everything will be okay.” Kagome rubbed his back to calm him down.

 

“But he scared me, when he came after us I thought he was really going to hurt you, Mommy he scared me! I want the real Kurama back!” Shippo cried harder.

 

“You know that wasn't really Kurama, don't worry well find him.” Kagome just sat there comforting her son.

 

And the two of them sat there, mother and son both worried about the same person, both hoping they would see him again soon.

 

They were quite peaceful until, =BANG= “Ow, Kagome I think the roman is an evil spirit, its attacking me.” InuYasha yelled as he looked at the destroyed pot of ramen.

 

“I have to go Shippo, InuYasha blew up the pot again, don't worry everything will be okay.” Kagome said as she quickly put on a happy face so as not to show anyone else what she was really feeling, how she missed Kurama.

 

 

***The woods***

 

Kurama got out of his hammock. After searching for any danger Kurama began to head in a direction that he hoped would lead him to his friends.

 

`This is a slight problem, all the woods look the same, and I could very well be going in a circle.' Kurama said as he walked around the woods.

 

Kurama took out his glowing plants and planted them on the ground as a way to know where he had been.

 

After a few trail clues Kurama knew he was going north. `Well maybe north will lead me to the Well or something, I'm sure Ill find them.' Kurama tried to stay optimistic even though it looked somewhat hopeless.

 

After walking for sometime he noticed a presence behind him, he decided to ignore it.

Kurama continued walking for quite a while and that presence still didn't go away, he knew someone was following him. He also knew that it wasn't a friend or they would of shown themselves. But on the other hand it didn't seem like an enemy or else it would of attacked by now.

 

Finally Kurama was done playing hide and go seek, “Come out now, I know you are following me and so if you show yourself now I wont attack but if you stay in the shadows I can not guarantee your survival.” After this threat the creature came out.

 

“Oh, I'm sorry Kurama sir. Please don't hurt me!” A terrified Soloc said.

 

“What are you doing following me demon slayer?” Questioned Kurama cautiously.

 

“I…I was j…just looking for food for my tribe and decided to follow you b…because y…you might h…help me.” Soloc stuttered in terror.

 

“It's quite obvious your lying now tell the truth.” Kurama said as he pulled out that famous rose from his hair threateningly, he was in no mood to play games.

 

“I um…” Soloc didn't want to tell him and Kurama felt some persuasion was in order.

In a matter of seconds vines curled around Soloc and he couldn't move, Kurama advanced towered him. “I seriously suggest you cooperate.” Said Kurama, he had a hunch that Soloc knew some answers he needed.

 

Soloc stared at the rose, `oh no, what am I doing here. I don't want to die and he can tell when I'm lying. Oh no what do I do? If I tell him what I'm doing here he still might kill me, also Lord Crece will have my head if I do. Oh what do I do?'

 

“My patience grows thin.” Kurama said keeping a cold glare on the terrified demon slayer.

 

“Okay, okay, I was sent to follow you.” Soloc decided it would be best to just tell the truth, who knows maybe Kurama could stop Crece. Soloc didn't like what Crece was doing to the demon slayers but no one wanted to stand up to the powerful spell caster.

“Why where you following me?” Kurama tightened his grip one his rose whip.

 

“I was following you because…because Crece wanted me to keep an eye on the person he possessed.” Soloc braced himself for an attack, but it didn't come.

 

“Crece is the one who possessed me? Good now I know who but how and why?” Kurama looked at Soloc in a way that said; “you better know the answer.”

 

“He possessed you using your hair and magic. He did it so that you could collect the jewel shards.” Soloc looked at Kurama hoping his answer was good enough.

 

“Good.” The vines around Soloc released him and he looked at Kurama not daring to anger him.

 

“Take me to Crece, now.” Kurama said, finding his friends would have to wait.

 

“Yes mister Kurama sir it's this way.” Soloc was now going to show Kurama where Crece was, to Soloc this was an opportunity to be free from Crece forever, he just hopped that Kurama got to Crece before Crece got to him.

 

`I am sorry I had to scare him but it was necessary I need to be free so I can go find my friends…and Kagome. I'm coming Crece.' Kurama looked off to the distance he was going to go find the man who made him hurt Kagome and Hiei; he would make Crece pay for possessing him.
