Chapter five

Koenma stole a quick glance at the two demons that were sleeping on the futon in his office. The female still lay on her right side while Hiei sat at the foot of the bed his back against the wall and his head resting on his chest. He had taken that position a few hours after the others left. It was almost as if he was trying to protect the female demoness, but that couldn't be true Hiei never showed emotion let alone fell for the demoness. Could it? Was it possible for the forbidden child to fall in love?

Koenma took an another closer look at the demoness there was just some thing familiar about her it was almost like he'd meet her before. He shook his head at his thoughts he'd never meet a demon other than Hiei who had a Jegan eye. She must just look like some one he knew.

Unexpectedly she began to stir in her sleep opened her mouth as if to say some thing but nothing came out not a single sound. Now really curious he pulled out a small compact and touched the center of the bottom. A flash of light illuminated the room causing an unexpected unrestrained growl from one of the two demons, but fortunately for him neither woke. Koenma let out the breath that he didn't even realize that he was holding as he turned back to his desk. Hooking up the compact to the computer that was built in to the desk he typed a few keys and a small data base came up. He downloaded the picture that he took of the sleeping demoness into the computer, typed in a command, then allowed the computer to start up the program.

Koenma turned away from his desk and slid out of the chair. Quietly he walked out of the room silently closing the door behind him. Who ever she was the computer program would find out. That program held the identity of all demons who ever existed from the moment that the barrier between the Makai world and the Ningenkai (human world) up to this very point in time.

Back in the Ningenkai

"I can't take this just waiting around waiting for that demon girl to wake up!" grumbled Yusuke as he grabbed his jacket and headed for the door. "I'm going to the arcade. Call me if you hear anything." He stated as he walked out of the room slightly slamming the door behind him.

Not two seconds later they heard yelling and banging around outside of the door. Then the door opened to reveal a very banged up Kuwabara. "Hey guys wasn't up…" he asked before he fell unconscious still lying in the door way.

Botan stood up from where she was sitting at on the couch and turned to everyone (who was Yukina, Kayko, Genkai, Sakuie, and Poo.) / Ok if you don't understand just who Sakuie is that's Kuwabara's older sisterfor now.If anyone knows how to spell herreal name correctly PLEASE tell me in a review!/ "Does anyone want to help me carry the ape to the bedroom" she asked as she looked from one of the three girls to the other then back at the unconscious Kuwabara. Suddenly Kuwabara's body lifted in thin air and floated toward the bedroom door. "Botan if you would open the door please." Genkai asked. Botan turned to the older woman and noticed that her eyes were glowing bright blue with spirit energy. Quickly she did as she was asked and moved to open the door to the bedroom. When the door was opened the teenager's body flew into the room and landed none too gently on the bed.

"So when did Kurama say that he would be over?" asked Yukina as she fidgeted with her cup of coffee not looking at any of the women. Botan quickly shot up taking her usual catlike appearance showing her mischievous personally at the time.

"Is that a crush I since coming from our little ice apparition." She asked pawing at the air with her deformed cat like hands. An apparent blush crossed Yukina's face proving that Botan was right. Botan almost let out a squeal but two small hands covered her mouth. She looked up to find that they belonged to none other than Yukina herself.

She pulled her hands away bringing one of them up to her mouth and covering her lips. "SHHHHHHH!!!" she said quietly lowering her voice a little. "I don't want Kuwabara to find out it would just break his heart, and I couldn't do that not even to someone like him." Botan nodded in understanding she didn't really understand why Yukina was so worried but she'd keep quiet as long as she could for her friend.

Abruptly as if just realizing that the others were in the room Yukina turned toward them her face steaming red. She gave them her best smile as she replied her request. Each nodded in understanding and agreement.

(FEMALE_INUYASHA): (Looksat the cave around her. In the corner to the left sat the pile of blankets that served as a bed. A small fire pit still containing hot coals lay in the center of the cave floor. Animal furs lay scattered around the area. A cooking pot sat over the fire containing the leftovers of the morning's meal still sitting in the bottom. Shesat ona pile of blankets herback against the smooth cave wall.) Hey everyone I'm back sorry for the late update but you should know why if you read my last chapter. (sighs)

Well do ya'll remember what I did to Hiei a while back …... Well as pay back he completely erased my identity! Social-security number, date of birth, where I trained as a pup, where I went to school, where I lived he even erased all memories of me from anyone I ever meet. Now I live out here in the wilderness which isn't that all bad but it's lonely at times at least now I don't have constant sounds and smells bombarding my sensitive senses.

Those stupid human police came to my house came over to my house because one of my neighbors (who completely forgot that I existed) turned me in for trespassing. Can you imagine that ME turned in for being in My OWN house. Oh I was so pi$$ed! They were lucky that I have good control over my demon blood or several of those b@$+%#ds would be so dead now. Well lets just say that I had to leave and wasn't allowed to take any of my belongs. The only reason that I have my laptop was because I had it in my backpack when I already arrived at my house. Well gotta go even demons need sleep when they're as stressed as I am!
