~Chapter 10~
"Hey, Razor."Yusaka greeted.
"Hey."Razor smiled.
"So watcha' come for?"
"To introduce you to someone. I ran into him and thought he would like to see you all again."A boy appeared from the bushes. He had semi messed black hair and narrowed, dark brown eyes. He had a red jacket over a black shirt and blue pants. Yusaka saw a red motorcycle behind him.
"I ran into him in the city and he asked if i knew you guys," Razor smiled.
"SNIPER!!!"Kazumahara hugged Sniper, causing them to fall.
"UGH!!! Kuwabari! GET--off!!!"Sniper pushed Kazumahara off and cracked his shoulder.
"So... Why'd you come back?"Yusaka asked.
"Just seeing if you guys needed backup for the black castle tournament."Sniper said.
"OH! Well, we got Razor. You wanna be substitute?"Jin asked.
"Sure, whatever," Sniper shrugged, "When did you guys meet her?"
"Today," Hiea answered.
Jins ear pricked as he heard a russle in the bushes. Razor heard it too. A wind blew the autumn leaves infront of Razor and she disappeared. The gang's eyes widened and they looked around. Two spider deamons emerged from the trees and the gang got into battle stance, but before they even blinked, the deamons were on the ground, dead.
"What just happened?"Kazumahara asked.
"I didn't do anything,"Heia said.
"Those fools were weak,"the gang turned around in the direction of the voice.
In the shadows, the gang saw a figure, but they couldnt see the face. The person lifted it head and they saw a fierce, red eye. Bangs covered the other. The person laughed and stepped forward.
"RAZOR!? You gave me the creaps!"Jin exclaimed, laughing.
"Yeah. I mean, I thought you were Hiei for a second,"snickered Yusaka.
"We have to move from this spot. We're being hunted,"Razor pushed the bangs from her eyes.
"Oh, right. Okay, gang. Head out!"Yusaka ordered.
~With Yusuke~
"Mom, I'm going to this thing, okay?!"Yusuke yelled.
"Yeah, ye*hickup*ah..."Atsuko laughed.
"Ah...great, mom's drunk again,"Yusuke rolled his eyes and left the house to meet his team.
Yusuke was walking on a deserted bridge as Kuwabara joined him. They nodded at eachother and kept walking. Kurama saw them and dug his hands in his pockets. He started walking with them for a short whille until Hiei came around. They stopped and looked up. Jin came flying at them. They walked to the docks and boarded the ship. They saw the Dream Tigers and their eyes widened to see Sniper with them.
"SPIRIT GUN!!!"
The Dream Tigers turned around and froze, but just before the beam had hit Sniper, it was forced into another direction. The beam was heading straight for Kurama. He dodged it and the beam diverted to Hiei. He quickly got out of the way and the shot was going to Kuwabara. He screamed, but the beam went over him to Yusuke. Just as the beam was going to blast Yusuke, it went towards Razor. She harnessed the energy and the beam disappeared.
"WHAT THE???"Yusuke caught his breath.
"Turns out Razor can turn your attacks against you."Hiei glared at Razor.
"She can WHAT?!"Yusuke jawdropped.
"You heard the bafoon. I can turn your attacks against you and divert it into any direction I wish,"Razor held a blank expression. Her eyes held a deadly and mysterious past, but she turned away and headed for the boat railings.
"That's impossible! Only a very powerful deamon can harnest that technique!"Kurama's eyes slowly returned to normal.
"ARG! Dream Tigers get into your places!"The captain ordered. The Dream Tigers dispersed into different parts of the ship.
"What in the name of Reikai are they doing?!"Yusuke fell in effect of the boat lifting.
"How else do you expect to get to the black castle tounament? It's in the sky you know,"Jin explained.
The Dream Tigers pulled the ship off the water and into the sky(think about Peter Pan without the pixi dust[dont own]). Soon, the Urameshi Team had a view of the floating Black Castle. The arena was next to it and acres of trees spread around.
"Permision to land, captain?"Yusaka asked.
"Hai! Land this boat down!"The boat began to desent.
"Brace yourselves! Some of us haven't mastered landing yet!"Kazumahara warned.
The ship made a rough landing, but everyone was safe. Though, Kuwabara may have lost some brain cells when he bumped his head on the railing.
"REGISTRATION!"A green haired woman was at a brown desk shouting for the teams to sign themselves in. As the Dream Tigers approached, the woman jumped behind the desk.
"Hey, Yuri. Wassup?"Yusaka asked.
"NOT ALL OF YOU, AGAIN! YOU ALMOST DESTROYED THE ISLAND!"Yuri screamed in Yusaka's face.
"Well that's what happens when you mess with Shuillin,"Kazumahara explained.
"But she's not with us anymore. We have a new,calmer member. This is Razor and our substitute, Sniper. They'll keep us from destroying your dumb old castle,"Yusaka assured.
"Okay, then. Sign here,"Yuri said.
"Did you hear that, Yusuke?"Kurama asked.
"Yeah. They're talking about my sister...BEHIND HER BACK!"Yusuke lounged at the Dream Tigers so Kurama and Kuwabara held him back.
"Relax, Urameshi!!!"Kuwabara urged.
"I meant the part of them almost destroying the island,"Kurama's grip loosened as Yusuke relaxed.
"Well, they said my sister,"Yusuke said.
"But they have Razor right now. How do we know she's not a hot head like Shuillin?"Kuwabara added.
"True. We've got to watch them closely in matches then,"Yusuke said.
"Let's go check into our room."Kurama said, urging Hiei to come along.
