"WHERE'S OUR ROOM?!"Yusuke was yelling at Kuwabara again.
"HOW SHOULD I KNOW?!"Kuwabara glared at Yusuke.
"BECAUSE YOU HAVE THE MAP!!!"
"Why did you trust the bafoon with the map?"Hiei retorted.
"I didn't, Kurama did!"Yusuke turned around to face Kurama.
"When did I do such thing? I registered us and when I came back, Kuwabara already had it,"Kurama sighed.
"Then... How'd you get the map, Kuwabara?"Yusuke asked.
"Kurama gave it to me. Then he walked off muttering something about having to stock up on supplies and he'd catch up later,"Kuwabara said.
"But I was nowhere near you three when Kuwabara had the map,"Kurama said.
"Then who's the Kurama poser?"Yusuke asked.
"I have no idea, Urameshi,"Kuwabara shrugged and kept trying to read the map, turning it upside down and inside out.
"YO! YOU GUYS LOST?!"Everyone turned around to see Yusaka and her group.
"Yeah, how'd you know?"Yusuke questioned.
"Because your co-captain tore up the map,"Kazumahara giggled.
"KUWABARA!!!"Yusuke snapped and attacked Kuwabara.
"We can help you guys out,"Sniper suggested.
"Why should we trust you?"Kurama arched an eyebrow and Sniper backed away.
"What's the problem between you two?"Heia asked.
"We have history,"Sniper replied.
Razor sat down next to a tree and looked towards the sky. There was only two hours left until nightfall and the two teams were bickering over a stupid map. She hated this group for some reason. And it wasn't because they were acting like they should have been the feuding families from Romeo and Juliet[dont own]. There was just something about them that made her so mad. A hand appeared infront of her face. She looked up and it was Sniper.
"Get up, we're going now,"Sniper said.
"I don't need your help,"Razor pushed away his hand and stood up."I don't need anyone's help."
"Fine. Then get to the hotel by yourself,"Sniper growled.
"You don't think I know where it is? My grandfather owns this island,"Razor didn't bother to turn around as she walked away.
"YO RAZOR! WAIT UP!"That was Yusuke.
"What is it, Urameshi?"Razor turned around.
"You dropped this necklace,"Yusuke held it up for her. It was a small silver orb attached to a strand of string.
"Uh...Thanks,"Razor had almost taken the necklace when a black blurr appeared and it disappeared.
"Where did you get this?!"Hiei forced Razor up against a tree with his katana under her throat.
"I had it for as long as I remember. I don't know where I got it,"Razor glared at Hiei as his katana started to dig through a layer of her skin.
"You're not telling the truth onna,"Hiei pushed his sword in deeper.
"That IS the only truth about the necklace that I know,"Razor stared into Hiei's eyes and sighed."All I remember is that a boy used to have it. He showed it to me one day and said it was very valuable and many demons were after it. Then..."
~Flashback~
The wind blew at a gentle pace through the forest. The leaves rustled and the birds flew from various parts of trees. A little hanyou girl was walking through the forest with her friend. She had beautiful glassy green eyes which nobody has ever been able to read. Her raven black hair that reached her waist flowed like silk as the wind circled around her.
"Vincent?"The girl asked.
"Yeah? What's wrong Ruisena?"Vincent's darker green eyes met the girl's lighter orbs.
"Nothing. I just wonder why you carry around that gem around your neck. You've told me many demons are after it, but not why it is so important to you or them."
"It's my mother's teargem. A koorime sheds one for each child she has when she gives birth. Then it is given to the child or children. It is very rare because one koorime, although they could live very long, can only give birth once every century. It's all I have left from my family. Why don't you know this? You're an ice maiden, too, are you not?"
"I am, but I was born without such things,"Ruisena looked down with weary eyes."my mother didn't have time to shed tears once she gave birth to me... My father had killed her,"Ruisena rested her head on Vincent's shoulder and his light green hair brushed against her a bit. It was short, but enough to flow gently infront of her face. He had forgotten to tie it back.
"I'm sorry, Ruisena. What happened to your father?"
"I don't know. He abandoned me whispering that although I was a part of his family, I could never prove to be his true daughter,"Ruisena's eyes were full of tears at that moment. Vincent hugged her and let her cry into his chest for the night.
~Five years later~
"Vincent, this isn't right!"Ruisena grabbed Vincent's arm and he pushed her down.
"This isn't any of your buisiness!"Another demon was after Vincent's teargem. He was fighting with a scythe and Vincent was fighting with his sword.
"Gambling all you have left of your family is reckless!"Ruisena shouted with tears burning her eyes.
"Stay out of---OOF!!!"The demon's scythe cut through the string holding his teargem and it plunged over the cliff."NOO!!!"Hiei growled at the demon and sliced him in half. He turned around and found Ruisena run to the edge."WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
Ruisena paused for a second and jumped over the cliff,"I'll never forget you, Vincent! I'll find it for you!"
"NO!!! RUISENA!!! COME BACK!!!"Vincent ran down after her, but was too late for he had lost her in the river. The wind blew through his light green hair and he dropped to his knees. Vincent missed her presence close to him."I'll find you, Ruisena...If it's the last thing I do..."Vincent whispered into the wind, as if hoping it would be carried to her.
~End Flashback~
"I've been having that dream for a while. I still don't know what it has to do with me. Now can you give me that back?"Razor explained.
"You... How long have you been having this dream?"Hiei asked.
"A few months now. Whenever I go to sleep, I see the same dream over and over again,"Razor arched an eyebrow at Hiei's confusion. He lowered his katana and she relaxed. Rubbing the spot where he had placed his katana, she stared at him.
"I must talk to you, privately,"Hiei said. Razor shrugged and walked with him to a different part of the forest.
"What does the word "love" mean to you?"Hiei asked.
'Why is Mr.Dark and Gloom asking this?'Razor thought and shrugged.'Must be a youkai thing.'
"Love is unexplainable. You can't own it or tame it. It will always be free or it's not love. it's imprisonment. It's beautiful even if you can't see it. It's sweet even though you can't taste it. You can just feel it, but not with your body. You can feel it with your heart and your soul. Love sings to yur heart, but you can't hear it with your ears. And love can be found anywhere,"the sunset beamed on Razor's face."If someone wants to find true love, you must search in ways you've never searched before. You must look, listen, feel, and smell with your heart and soul. With the very back of your mind to know what's wrong and what's not. Does that sum it all up, Hiei?"Razor sat down near the lake.
"You gave me all the answers I needed,"Hiei kneeled down next to Razor and stared at her.
~Hiei's thoughts~
'How could she be Ruisena? A human and a hot head. But... Only Ruisena ever gave an answer like that. If only I knew for sure... If only I knew she was actually her... I need to find out. I just need to... But why else would she have my teargem if Razor's not her? Ruisena dived after the most valuable possession to me... No, stop denying it Hiei. Ruisena is the most valuable possession to me. She always has been... Why did I have to keep denying it all this time?!'
~End Hiei's thoughts~
"Are you okay Hiei? You look dazed,"Razor asked.
"Uh... Yeah, whatever onna,"Hiei mentally smacked himself. What if she WAS Ruisena?
"Okay then. Just wondering,"Razor's light brown hair gently flowed with the wind as her eyes were fixed to the dazzling colors of the sunset. Hiei gulped and blushed as Razor rested her head on his shoulder.
'That does it... Razor IS Ruisena...'Hiei softly smiled a mental grin and rested his head on Razor's. He loved the feeling of her hair...her soft silky hair...
'This feel so familiar...'Razor thought, but shrugged it off. She moved a little closer to Hiei and inhaled his smell.'He smells like pine trees...'Razor smiled and relaxed as Hiei's hand gently played with her hair.
