SK: Here is chapter 14 sorry it took a while to get it up, but hey it's less time then the last gap if you think about it; well without further wait here is chapter 14.

Chapter Fourteen: Karasu Finds Out

 

Outside of his house Kit was helping Darren bring things from the car inside, trying to be helpful. Kit was getting used to the new place and loved that it had a lake near the house as well as the house being in the forest. The only thing Kit hated about his new life was that he had to ride in a car which made him feel confined. For the past three months he had been riding in one and he still hadn't gotten used to it, or the smell it made.

Kit walked inside and saw Luna, who was now six months pregnant and starting to show more and more. Luna smiled saying, “So how was the drive?” Kit shuddered alittle saying, “Dad still can't drive I nearly threw up again.” Darren started laughing and ruffled Kit's hair, being careful of his ears though, Luna smiling at this helped put the things away. When she went to grab something slightly heavy Darren noticed this and stopped her before she could pick it up. Kit shook his head as he saw Luna glaring at Darren, but luckily Luna still hadn't had any mood swings.

Late that same day Luan was washing dishes and Darren was holding a half sleeping Kit in his arms. He walked up the stairs and to Kit's room before laying him on his bed then covering Kit up to his shoulder. “Why are you putting me in bed dad?” asked Kit yawning afterwards. “Because you can barley keep your eyes open Kit,” said Darren and kissed Kit on the forehead. He then walked out of Kit's room just as he fell fast asleep. Luna heard Darren walking down the stairs, but just to be alittle childish she acted like she didn't. Darren walked up behind Luna and wrapped his arms around her waist. He rubbed her stomach and felt a kick agenst his hand causing him to smile and kiss Luna's left ear.

“Kit is asleep want to go for a walk?” asked Darren. Luna smiled and nodded her head saying, “Yes I would like that a lot.” Darren let her go then went and got his shoes on then grabbed a light coat for Luna. He put the coat on her then they walked out of the house and started walking to the lake shore. Luna looked out at the water with a smile on his face and Darren noticed this. He smiled and said, “You seem real happy Luna.” “Ya I am,” said Luna, “I can't wait to have the baby and I love being with you and Kit.” Darren laughed and pulled Luna into his arms, his hands resting on her stomach like usual. Luna looked up at Darren saying, “Looks like someone else can't wait either.” Darren smiled and nuzzled Luna's cheek saying, “I can't wait I really want to be a dad, to see our child for the first time.”

Luna laughed moving to stand next to Darren and the two walked into further into the woods. They stopped at a tree and Darren leaned agenst it, Luna moving back into his arms. Luna looked up at the stars and Darren rubbed both of Luna's ears. “So what do you want a boy or a girl?” asked Luna purring. “I really don't care as long as the baby is healthy the sex it really doesn't matter,” said Darren still rubbing Luna's ears.

While the two were talking one of Karasu's men were walking threw the same woods. He stopped hearing the two of them talking near him. He walked over to the origin of the noise and saw Darren and Luna. What really caught the man's attention was Luna's stomach though; the man figured she looked about six months pregnant. He took a few sniff of the air to confirm what his eyes were telling him and then quickly ran to the nearest portal. While running he hoped Darren and Luna didn't notice him then the man jumped into the portal.

Darren noticed the temperature dropping, never noticing the man though and picked Luna up bridal style. “What are you doing Darren?” asked Luna. “Taking you inside its starting to get cold,” said Darren. Luan sighed and was about to say something, but she knew it would only be a waist of breath. Ever since they had gotten back from getting Kit Darren had become over protective of her, which got on her nerves at times. He carried her back to the house and when he felt that she was getting tired he walked her up to their bedroom then putting her in bed. Darren then quickly ran downstairs and locked the door just incase then walked back upstairs to the bedroom. Darren got into bed lying down next to Luna then covered them up and while falling asleep he pulled Luna into his arms.

The next day Darren woke up first and decided to take a real quick shower. He then woke Luna up so she could take a shower to. The reason was they were going to Ukina and Kuwabara's to see if the baby was healthy and if it was a boy or a girl. Luna took a quick shower then got dressed while Darren walked downstairs to start cooking. Luna walked into Kit's room and shook his shoulder lightly to wake him up. Kit opened his eyes and sat up asking, “Why are you getting me up?” “I thought you would like to come with us to my doctor's appointment today,” said Luna. Kit shook his head and Luna left so he could get dressed.

After getting dressed Kit slid down the stair railing right into the kitchen which caused Luna to get at him. “Kit how many times have I told you not to slide down the railing,” said Luna. “I don't know I stopped counting after seven,” snickered Kit. Darren shook his head knowing Kit wouldn't listen until he got hurt and Luna sighed before sitting down, knowing the exact same thing at Darren. After the three of them were finished eating they got into the car and Darren drove them to Kuwabara's clinic. They walked inside and Ukina smiled saying, “Just in time come on back.”

They walked back to the back room and Luna laid down on the examining bed. Ukina walked up to the bed with an ultra sound machine and told her to lift her shirt up slightly. Luna did what she was told and Ukina put gel on the probe before putting it onto Luna's stomach. After putting it on a few moments later a picture came up onto the screen. Ukina looked at it and smiled saying, “Well it looks like you two are having twins. Darren and Luna smiled and Kit said, “Does that mean I'm going to have two younger samplings?” Luna nodded her head and Ukina said, “Do you want to know the sex of the twins?” “Sure we do,” said Darren after Luna nodded her head slightly. Ukina looked at the scream saying, “Looks like your having a little boy and a little girl.” Luna and Darren smiled and Darren kissed Luna on the forehead.

While this was going the man that saw the two ran into Karasu's room. Karasu looked up, really irritated that someone interrupted him while he was bathing. He walked out of the dub putting dark purple boxers on then a black rope. The man ran into sight and Karasu yelling, “Why the hell are you in here!” “I came to tell you something Sir,” said the man with his head bowed. “What is it tell me now!” snapped Karasu. “Well you see Karasu sir,” said the man, “It turns out that Luna girl is pregnant.” “WHAT!” yelled Karasu. “She is pregnant sir, by that vampire,” said the man.

Karasu swiped his claws out at the man taking his head clean off of his shoulders. Karasu them smirked, picking the dismembered head up and ignoring the body on the ground which was soaking the floor in greenish colored blood. Karasu held the head in the middle on his hand saying, “I will kill that hybrid, and it's bad enough that she is a spirit fox and dog demon hybrid.” He tightened his grip on the skull saying, “But then she had to made then get knocked up by that vampire, I'll kill Luna and her unborn child. With that pledge made Karasu made is grip tight enough on the skull that it was crushed sending blood and bits of brain everywhere. Also the eyeball popped out of their sockets and blood flew all over Karasu's arm. Karasu threw the remainders of the skull at the body and looked at his hand seeing it covered in blood and bits of brain. Karasu closed his hand saying, “I will kill you Luna and your unborn child then I will kill that vampire then when both of you are dead I'll kill Kurama and his mate.”
