Chapter Two: Enter the Detectives.

Back in Spirit World an alarm started to ring.

Briiiing briiing!!!!

"What in all of Spirit World could send the alarm off like this?" Koenma asked himself.

Koenma looked on the monitor that controlled the alarm only to see what was causing the disturbance.

"Botan, get those boys up here now! They've just been assigned a new mission,” he yelled.

(In the Human World.)

Yusuke and Kuwabara had ditched school again and were happily spending all their money at the arcade.

"Die you mutant slime ball!" Yusuke yelled at the video screen.

 

Then, as you might have guessed Botan appeared out of nowhere. At first neither of them noticed, until she started screaming to get their attention that is.

”Boys…boys...BOYS STOP DROOLING OVER YOUR STUPID VIDEO GAMES AND LISTEN TO ME NOW!”

 

“Man Botan did you have to scream like that? I think you blew out my eardrum,” Yusuke complained.

 

"Both of you come with me; you're needed at Spirit World right away. Kurama and Hiei are already there waiting for you."

"Come on Botan do we really have to? I'm in the middle of a game," Kuwabara whined.

"Yes, now move it!"

(Back at Spirit World.)

"What could be so important that you had to bother us toddler?" Yusuke asked.

"I'm sorry Yusuke, but this couldn't wait. The demon energy scanner just picked up a huge energy spike! I've already found the source of it."

Koenma handed them a file containing information on the person who had made the scanner go off.

Yusuke took a look at the file and saw a picture of a red-eyed girl glaring back at him. He then passed the file to everyone else. This is what it said.

 

Name: Amelia

 

Race: Human/Fire Demon

 

Personality: Is usually angry. Patient and kind only with younger children with people she trusts.

 

Hobbies: Fighting, and only fighting.

 

Friends: Zolo, Zelena Zolo, Sky

 

Parent/Guardian: Melissa Robinson

 

Location: America

"I don't see anything unusual about this Amelia girl, what's the big deal, she looks pretty normal to me?" Kuwabara asked.

"Hn. You're such fool. Did you even bother to read the file? It says there in black and white she's half fire demon."

"You mean she's like you!" Kuwabara exclaimed.

"They are the same in manner of speaking," Kurama explained.

 

“Great, just what we need, another person that acts like Hiei,” Kuwabara muttered.

“Hn. I heard that moron.”

 

“Good I wanted you too!”

 

“Stop fighting and listen,” Botan told them.

 

“Thank you Botan. Now unless anyone else has something important to say I'll continue,” Koenma said in a rather annoyed tone.

 

“Oh just get on with it,” Yusuke told him.

"Your assignment is simple, go to America, find Amelia, and bring her here for training. If she were to lose control of her powers again we don't know what could happen. The consequences could be catastrophic,” Koenma told them.

 

“And you're sure this can't wait?” Yusuke asked.

 

“For the last time, NO YUSUKE YOU HAVE TO GO!” Koenma and Botan yelled.

“Okay, okay, I got it.”

 

“On the bright side of things you boys get to take a trip to America, how exciting!” Botan exclaimed.

 

 

This chapter is a bit shorter than the last. It's because part of chapter one used to be part of this chapter, but then I got bored one day and edited it. So now you know in case anyone was wondering. I haven't gotten any reviews yet, but I would really like some. So, if anyone wants chapter three put up I would like at least one person to review. I hope somebody likes it.
