Chapter 5WFW The Telling

"Lei was kind to me, she took me in and dressed my wounds. She asked me many questions, and when I could only tell her my name, she said that I could stay as long as it took me to remember. With her help, I remembered the little things that finally led me here." You stated with a mix of fear and anguish in your voice, this hurt more than you thought it would to remember all that you had wanted to up until you met the arrogant pacifier sucking bastard back there. `Who the hell does he think he is? God, or something like that?'

"Does it hurt?" Hiei was being unusually gentile and caring, this startled you.

"Hai, it hurts a lot. You were never this kind, what's changed?" You looked into the deep, everlasting garnet eyes. They held anger, fear, loss, things he never allowed anybody to see, yet he opened his soul to the one person that he had not heard from in a very long lime.

"Gomen, if I had know I would cause you this much trouble, I would never have come to you." Hiei blurted out before he could stop himself, he blushed a furious scarlet and turned away.

"Goshinpai-naku <Don't worry about it>, I would not change my actions even if it meant that I could save the world by not helping you." You said, "It hurts yes, but that pain is something that I am used to."

"Hn." He regained his characteristic cold demeanor. You bowed your head in deep thought, some thing was not right.

`What is this? I can feel something bad is coming.' You were confused as to what was happening.

"Do you want to share your thoughts, or do I have to drag them out of you?" Hiei asked, knowing you would rather answer the question then have your mind picked trough like a filing cabinet.

"Something is coming." You said, your head snapping out of the bent position. Your eyes were glazed over. You had gone into one of your rare trances, and trouble always followed close behind those.
