Kurama's POV.
Chapter two:

*sigh. 'I've been walking around this place for an hour and a half. And I STILL can't find a suitable gift. Isn't that sad?' I can't help but critisize myself for this problem. If only I'd went earlier today instead of waiting til' tonight. I'm browsing through the sporting goods now. This mall claims to have everything, but does it have a perfect gift for Hiei? I've been looking to get Hiei a gift since yesterday, but I don't know what to get him. I was thinking that he might like some kind of fishing pole or hunting stuff or something. I wonder if he came over to my house tonight? Hmm..I hope he doesn't get mad, I didn't leave a note or anything. Oh well, he knows he's always welcome in my home. I always tell him that it's his home too but he just hn's and stares out the window. I don't understand that little fire demon, but It's my life's goal to figure him out. I wish he'd open up a little more. I want to know how he's feeling. More importantly, I want to know how he feels about ME. Yes, I admit it, I think I love Hiei. That's bad, he's straight as an arrow. I haven't got a chance. Oh well, I wonder what he's doing? If he's at home, he might be doing some mischief, but I trust him. It's not like he'll burn the house down! Hmm, there, would he like this....?

'What is this? Another list?' I've been staring at this page for a few minutes and I still don't get it. It's some kind of list of different stuff. Hmm......what's this?

What? He seems to be talking to....me!? What the hell's going on?! Maybe I'm onto something. Maybe this is a recording..? No, it can't be, I don't recall ever having a conversation with Kurama like this one. Hmmm, maybe.....this is from another universe! Maybe this is an alternate reality. There might be other worlds out there that we've never seen before and this is what's going on over there. I think I just found the motherload of detective work. Now if I could only get a raise.....
I wonder what Kurama and myself are like in that world...? I guess the only way to find out is to read this. "The stairs are creaking more than usual." I don't know why I said that, it's not like anyone's here to hear it.
"!!!" I don't remember leaving my bedroom door open a crack! Something's not right....and didn't I leave the computer on? I don't see the glow from the screen through the crack....the lid on it's down. Someone's definitally been here. Hiei maybe...?

"Hiei?" I don't know why I'm whispering. A rustle next to the bed catches my attention. It is Hiei, right?

"Hiei...?" I am a little more paranoid now. What's that?! That shadow in my room! It moved! .....I'm outta here!

"AIEE!" I screamed, alarmed, turning tail and running toward the door. But the door was closed! When did it shut? I'm trapped. It's locked. *Thump Thump Thump I can hear my heart beating in my chest. I'm sure whatever's in here can hear it as well. I step back away from the door slowly, looking around. I don't see anything on account of the darkness. Where's the light switch when you need it..? It's on the far wall. I move cautiously toward it. About halfway there, I feel something touch my leg.

"AAACCKKK!" That was it! I'm going out the window! I sprint for the closed window, only to be tackled from behind by a small figure. Right now I don't care who I am, Youko Kurama or not, this is scaring the shit outta me!

"Let go! LET ME GO!" I know it's fruitless, but I've got to try anyway.

"Please let me go!" Maybe manners will win the thing over..? Yeah right, the grip on my waist and arms tightens. I close my eyes, not wanting to see it coming. I think of Hiei, my little fire demon that I love so much.....is that laughing? I crack open my eyes and I stare at the beige carpet in front of my nose. The laughing gets a little louder. I recognize that voice!

"HIEI!" I feel so angry and disgraced. The demon only laughs harder. Finally, he speaks.

"Where were you fox?" He gets right to the point, figures. He sounds a little angry.

".....Shopping." It's the truth. I feel him tense.

"Shopping..? You weren't foxnapped.....?" Now it's my turn to be thrown off course.

"Foxnapped..? What do you mean, Hiei? What's wrong with you?" I feel something different about my little friend. I feel him lean down and press his lips next to my ear.

"I thought you had been taken hostage by Kitty-Chan. I was......worried...a little." He hesitates with his answer...Kitty-Chan? Isn't that the name of...?

"Hiei! Did you read anything on my computer?!" I'm worried now! What if he read those stories I submitted! He'll know and it'll all be over!

".........Maybe...." His voice is soft now. Holy shit! He read them! I'm toast.

"Well....aren't you going to kill me now, Hiei?" I can already feel the katana through my chest and being set aflame. Hiei sits up.

"Why would I kill you? I've been reading this to find where you were held." I turn onto my back underneath him. I look and see a faint blush on his cheeks. Well, I think it's a blush, but it's dark ok!? So, he was reading those stories trying to find me? How romantic....

"And what did you find?" I can't keep the lusty tone out of my voice. I've waited too long for this. He turns his head to the side and stammers.

"I read about an alternate reality about...you...and me....uhh.." He trails off, how cute. So, he thinks the stories are actually alternate realities?

"And, what happened in the alternate reality?" I can't help it. I need this, if he's willing. Hiei makes eye contact.

"You and myself were lovers. I was so jealous..." WHAT?! Jealous?!

"What do you mean, Hiei?" Please....please.....please....

"I wanted to be your lover..." He whispers this, crawling on his hands and knees, he crawls onto my body and leans his face close to mine. oh god....oh god....oh god....is he gonna kiss me? He looks aroused....

"Kurama, I.....care for you....let me?" He backs off a little, unsure of what I will say. Is he serious? Will he...?

"Hiei...." I can't get much else out. Oh god, I can feel tears starting to form. I'm so.....happy. He looks at me, I see a small smile forming on his face. He's so handsome.....

"Kurama, can I......kiss you?" He grows unsure all of a sudden. I feel the wetness that my tears are making on my cheeks. Hiei sees this and his eyes widen.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you cry...." He raised his hand, and started caressing my cheek, wiping the tears away.

"Hiei, these are tears of happiness. I love you Hiei.." There I said it. Maybe now he'll understand what I feel and think. I see his face express shock, then the most joy I've ever seen. He leans down and I feel his lips come into contact with mine. It's heaven. He tastes of spice, and trees. He's warm, and he's feeding a fire deep within my soul. Remembering I have arms, I slide them slowly up his sides and around his waist. He moans into my mouth, I feel it vibrate my whole being. The kiss lasted only moments, but to me it was a lifetime's worth. Hiei pulled back, staring into my eyes. I feel like he's looking into my soul. I flutter my eyelashes.

"Hiei.....those wasn't alternate realities, those were stories made up by people. I even wrote some. Want to look with me?" I hope he says yes, that way he can see how kinky and loving I am. He looks thoughtful.

"You mean, you wrote them?" He looked shamed at believing it to be another world. I chuckle.

"Yeah, I wrote some of them, other people writes them too. Let's go read some." I sit up, pulling myself to my feet. Hiei follows suit. I just wonder if he would like the idea of acting out some of those fanfictions......*leer.
