I've got band tryouts next week… So nerves are pretty much forcing me to write. Only reason why I write, really. Sad, huh?

Yuske slid forward, slamming his foot into what he hoped was a soft spot on demons as well as humans. He was right- the demon crumpled, clutching between his legs as a grimace of sickened agony appeared on his face. Yuske laughed recklessly, surrounded by a score of powerful demons, three score fodder demons, and a handful of lightning fast snakewomen, along with Jin and Hiei. He'd forgotten how fun this was!

“You might find this funny, Spirit Detective, but some of us are having trouble!” Jin called irritably. Hiei said nothing, too absorbed in the vicious fight and watching for Kurama to show up so they could run.

“Why'd the wretch have to have reinforcements?” Jin muttered sullenly, glancing toward the window he'd crashed through (now a gaping hole). And there was Kurama, looking no worse for wear and helping his little sister down from the roof, with no indication on how she got there.

The first snakewoman shot forward, hurling herself at Kurama. Hiei shot after her, his feet finding the firmest ground in the mud to speed him forth, calling a warning to Kurama.

Kurama turned, and surprise crossed his face an instant before half a ton of muscle and scaly flesh slammed into him and hurled him into the living through the wall. Hiei caught up a second later, but a second too late- the snakewoman whipped her thick coils around Kurama's broken form and began to crush him.

Hiei cried out and stabbed the woman again and again and again and again and again and over and over and over until the coils loosened, until another snakewoman picked him up and hurled him to the ground. Another of the wretched beasts pulled a bleeding but alive Kurama from the remains of the dead snakewoman, dragging him away.

Jin watched in shock and surprise, knowing he could do nothing for Kurama and wondering if he could even get near enough to Hiei to pull him away and still live.

Yuske rushed forward, grabbing Kurama's little sister and giving Jin a good shake. “Get Hiei, you idiot! Slam him on the head if you have to, but get him to Kuwabara's house now!”

Hiei heard the words distantly, too busy fighting off the three snakewoman to comprehend. They where the last things he heard before he woke up to the concerned face of Kuwabara's sister.

 

 

I really haven't thought of what's gonna happen next- just something about a woman and Kurama… mebbe a pretty woman… or mebbe it's not a woman…
