How the Heart Breaks

Chapter12: Yukina's Dream

 

Yukina was in bed. She was trying to sleep. She was having a dream, a dream she had already. This dream she really considered a nightmare.

Yukina's Dream:

“Promise me that you will forget me!” A girl screamed at another girl, all while shaking her by her shoulders. These girls looked only to be around 13 or 14. The girl that was being shaken was crying. As her tears fell, they made a `clunk' noise, signifying that they turned into these tiny white gem stones. The girl that was doing the shaking had gem stones coming out too, but hers were a blue topaz color.

“N-no! I don't want to! You are all that I have besides Jello, Pyro, and Sneaks!” Cried the girl with the white gem stones. “Please, they sold you to him, and you have to go. Please forget about me! Yukina, I don't want you thinking about me and my welfare at this wretched house. Yukina, I want you to be happy, I want you to smile me one last smile! Yes, please, and then when you go, I have a good memory. I PROMISE, that we WILL see each other again! All I ask is that you forget about me so if I do end up getting beaten to my death, it won't hurt so much!” Pleaded the girl with the blue topaz gem stones. “Sapphire, I don't want to go. All I am going to be is some money making machine, and god forbid the thoughts that they have!” Yukina cried into the now identified Sapphire's arms.

“Come on you good for nothing bitch!” A man yelled as he yanked Yukina out of Sapphire's arms. He was accompanied by two boys who kicked Sapphire in the ribs before following the older male. This older male had black hair with seafoam/ turquoise bangs pushed to the side. He had deep crimson eyes filled with malice and putrid hate burning like an open fire. He was somewhat built and had a fierce hard glare. The two boys that were accompanying him were identical. They both had black hair and dark crimson eyes with amusement dancing within as they saw pure pain.

“Alex, Nikki, open up the car door so I can throw this piece of shit in.” The older male said. “Yes, Uncle Dean.” The two boys said in unison and did as they were told…

End of Dream…

Yukina screamed and the guys had to pin her down from doing any damage to her self. This obviously made her scream more. “GET OFF! GO AWAY! PLEASE STOP!” Yukina screamed. “No more…” Yukina whimpered out before crying. No, she wasn't awake but it was enough to make the girls scared.

Hiei stayed by Yukina's side, stroking her cheek. Kurama went to soothe the now hysterical Sapphire, whispering sweet nothings in her ear. Yusuke did the same to Keiko. Botan was panicking, but it soon went away when Kuwabara hugged her and told her everything is alright. She cried on his shoulder.

Hiei now lay next to Yukina, and had his arms around her. He was mindful about her broken arm and her damages. He noticed how she was calm now and how she slept peacefully. She wasn't crying in her sleep. She was just sleeping, and she looked almost normal.
