Treena: ugh…none of this is mine….*sigh* *slaps Kurama across the face*

Kurama: OWW! Wut the hell was that for?!!

Treena: ugh…get on with the story already..

Chapter 7- Feels so Familiar

"Who is it?" You said giggling. You opened your eyes. There, standing infront of you was Kurama. "Kurama! What are you doing here?"

He stuck his hands in his pockets and leaned on the wall. He looked so HOT. (haha) "I dunno. I don't usually go shopping."

You laugh. "Where's everyone else?"

"Somewhere else?" Kurama said. "So Genkai let you off the hook?"

"Yea, I hope it won't go on tommorow…so much work…it's driving me insane!"

"Well, then lets cherish the time we have now." Kurama said his eyes staring into yours.

That insant, you felt that failiar feeling again.

"Alright. Let's go!" You said as you grabbed Kurama's hand and ran into the mall.

Time flies, and soon it was 8:00 pm. You had some shopping bags as you and Kurama walked out of the mall. Suddenely Kurama stopped.

"(y/n), wait. I want to show you something before you go." Kurama said.

"Alright."

He takes your hand and leads you to a water fountain. It was so beautiful. Water shot out from everywhere creating a pattern in the air, and colorful lights made the water look different colors. You put down your bags and leaned against the rail surrounding the fountain.

"It's so beautiful…I could stay here for hours." You said gazing at the shooting water.

"Yea…great, isn't it?" Kurama said.

You turned around to face Kurama. He looked so handsome close.

"Kurama…Thank you." You smiled and so did he. You started playing with your necklace again. "You know Kurama…I'm so glad I met you, but it feels like I've known you for the longest time."

Kurama smiled and stepped closer to you. You continued talking.

"I feel so comfortable around you…and I've only met you yesterday." You said gazing into Kurama's eyes.

He wrapped his arms around your waste and you leaned your head against his. You were still playing with your necklace and closed your eyes. Suddenly a flash of a memory came across your head.

You grabbed his necklace to stop you from slipping away, but it was no use. It broke and you lost your grip…you faded into the sea of demons clutching the necklace.

Your eyes opened a little wde with shock but Kurama didn't seem to notice. You mentally knocked the image out of your head. All of a sudden you had an urge to ask Kurama a very personal question.

"Kurama?" You asked.

"Yes?"

"Umm…don't get mad if I asked but…the person who died, what was she like?" You asked a little hesitant.

Kurama pulled his head back and sighed. "Well…she was very special to me. Actually her real name was (y/n)-lena. But I would always call her by her nickname, (y/n). She was so beautiful and wise. She kind of reminds me of you. But she's passed now…She was a de-…nevermind."

"Ohh." Was all you could say. "Sorry…if I made you go through anything-"

Kurama chuckled. "Don't worry. I'm happy now that I'm with you. Heh, it's funny, it was only yesterday that we met too."

He leaned his head against yours again.

"I don't care, I'm glad I'm with you too."

He held you close until there was no more possible space between you two. And you wrapped your arms around his neck. You felt so safe in Kurama's arms. You wanted this night to last forever. But you checked your watch, it was 9:20pm. Yours eyes widened. You grabbed your shopping bags.

"Omygosh! I have to go, Kurama!" You start running, but Kurama grabbed your arm.

"Don't worry I'll bring you there." Kurama said.

He held your hand and all of a sudden it didn't matter whether you were late or not. He called a taxi and on the way home you restyour head on his shoulder. You started to fall asleep…

"(y/n)..wake up." You heard that familiar voice say.

You felt a nudge. You rubed your eyes a little clueless about where you are. Then you sawm Kurama and your house.

"Ohh, we're here."

You both walk up to your doorstep and both stood there for a few seconds.

"Well…thanks Kurama…for everything." You said.

He handed you your bags full of new clothes.

"Thanks."

He stepped closer to you. "I'm glad you had fun, (y/n)."

He put his hand on your cheek and gave you a small but passionate kiss. You enjoyed every second of it.

"Good night."

As Kurama walked down the steps you leaned on the door knob for support. You waved as he went inside the taxi. He drove off and you felt like finally jumping for joy. `He likes me!!' you repeated in your head. Then, suddenely the door was being pulled and you fell backwards.

"Oww…" You said rubbing your head.

You opened your eyes, and there standing infront of you was Genkai. You quickly stood up and brushed off your clothes.

"Hi, Genkai!" You tried to say cheerfully.

She just shook her head. "Go to sleep, you need to rest. Good night."

She dissapeared behind her room. You started walking toward yours limping a little bit. You dragged your bags into your room and stocked your closet. You took out some cute pajamas that you bought at the mall and put them on. They were your favorite color. You went into the bathroom and brushed your teeth. After climbing into bed, you took out a little box and opened the lid. Inside was a beautiful silver bracelet with six diamonds shaping into a flower.

FLASH B A C K

"Oh my gosh! Kurama, look at that bracelet! It's so pretty." You said pointing to a silver bracelet with diamonds on it. Kurama just chuckled.

"Well…it's all yours." He said handing you a small bag.

You eyes widened as you opened the box. There it was, the bracelet you wanted. You gave Kurama a hug and put the bracelet carefully away for safe keeping.

"Kurama, it's so beautiful! I swear, I'll wear it always."

You smiled putting the bracelet on your wrist. Then that image you had earlier came to your mind again. You noticed that the neckalce that you were holding onto was yours…

"But who was the one I was trying holding onto?" You said to yourself.

You yawned and brushed the image aside again. You turned off your lamp and went right back to sleep.

Kurama's POV

"It can't be possible. That regualr teenager being (y/n)?" Yusuke said.

"I have a feeling she is her…" Kurama replied.

"I mean, she's been gone since I can't remember! But Kurama, she is a pretty cute chick." Kuwabara said. Everyone glared at him.

"Well, if she's just a meer human, I doubt it could be (y/n). Because she was a full demon, was she not?" Hiei said.

"I guess so." Kurama said.

"Hey, But if she makes you happy, then go out with her." Yusuke said matter-of-factly. "I mean, wouldn't (y/n) want you to be happy?"

Kurama was silent thinking to himself. Yusuke stood up and put his hands behind his head.

"Well, we better go to sleep. Genkai said there's another tournament coming up in a few weeks. G'night guys."

Everyone said their good nights and walked out Yusuke's apartment. Kuwabara waited up for Kurama.

"Hey, Kurama, you com'in?" He asked.

"Yea, I'll be there…just give me a few seconds." Kurama said.

Who am I kidding? She can't be her…But I swore…someday that I would find (y?n). Maybe she is the key to finding her.
