"HE'S WHAT?!?!?!" the rest of the gang shouts in unison.
"How the hell could he be pregnant?!" Yusuke exclaims.
The nurse looks around nervously for a moment before replying, "Maybe you should sit down for a minute and let me explain this," she waits for them to sit down. Everyone but Hiei does and she goes into an explanation, "Demons have the capability of becoming pregnant even if they're male. No one has been able to figure out just why. They do, however, need to have had.....intercourse.... With another male in order for it to happen."
Hiei was the only person who's jaw didn't drop. The rest of the gang was left to wonder who Kurama could have possibley been with before they all turn to look at Hiei with wide eyes.
"What are you idiots looking at?" he asks irritabley.
Yukina was the one to come forward and give him a tight hug (AN: I honestly think Yukina is the only one except for Kurama that could get away with hugging him), "Congradulations, Hiei-san!"
With a startled expression, he glances down at her, "Congradulations for what, Yukina-chan?"
She gives him a smile before replying, "We all know that you and Kurama-kun are together. It was next to impossible not to notice with how you two have been acting the last few weeks on our missions."
He blushes slightly before turning back to the still staring others, "Would you all close your mouths and stop staring like I'm some sort of freak show!"
Kuwabara decides that this seemed to be the best time to speak, "This'll be great! Me and Yukina-chan will have a little baby niece or nephew!"
Hiei glares at his sister's fiance before smirking, "Not if I don't let you anywhere near it, you won't! We don't need your stupidity rubbing off on our child."
Koenma chooses now to end the argument, "Kurama won't be able to live in the Ningen-kai while he's in this state. Certain things will most deffinetely be noticable before long. He'll live in his room here until then. I'll inform his mother that he's been accepted into a private boarding school in England and had to depart immediately in order to catch the flight he needed."
The others nod and the nurse leaves to get Kurama. She comes back, wheeling him in a wheelchair and he looks up at Hiei with happiness sparkling in his eyes.
Within a milisecond later, he's surrounded by two squealing, giggling girls. Kurama blushes as Keiko and Botan swarm him and ask what he's planning on naming the child when it's born and whether or not he knows if it'll be a boy or a girl.
"Calm down, ladies. I don't know what I'll name it, nor do I know which gender it'll be. As soon as I know, you'll know, deal?"
They nod, but still stand near him with matching anime sparkley eyes. Keiko looks at Botan and squeals, "I can't wait to have a baby to hold and spoil rotten!"
Botan nods happily in agreement before a sudden thought hits her, "Wait a minute, where are they going to live once the baby is born?"
Kurama just smiles and replies, "Don't worry about it, Botan. I've discovered the location of my other half's lair and there's plenty there to keep us happy for the rest of our lives."
Raising an eyebrow, Koenma responds, "Lair? That thing is more like a mansion than a lair, Kurama. And I have yet to figure out how we never got Youko with him living in such a large place...."
He gets a soft chuckle as a reply, "Do you really want to see all the plant defenses he put up? I'll invite you over to see them sometime, if you'd like?"
This seems to shut him up for a minute after saying, "No, no. Quite alright."
The others laugh and Kurama stands up before saying, "I need a short nap. I'll see you all later."
Hiei goes to follow him, but Botan grabs onto his arm, grinning madly, "Where do you think you're going? Kurama will be fine, but we have some questions to drill the answers out of you!"
"Hn. What sort of questions, exactly? And who says I'll answer any of your questions to begin with?"
They just smile before dragging him over to the couch and bombarding him with at least a dozen questions a second.
"So when did you two get together?"
"What do you think the baby will be?"
"How do you feel about having a baby?"
"ENOUGH!" He finally yells after a few minutes. "I don't feel like answering any questions. Now excuse me, I'm going to go check on Kurama."
Botan turns to Keiko and asks, "What's wrong with him?"
Keiko shrugs as the other guys sweatdrop. Yusuke answers, "Very few guys would actually like being sat down and have questions fired at him non-stop for ten minutes straight. Especially Hiei."
As Hiei walks into Kurama's room, he smiles slightly when he sees him sleeping with a smile playing on his lips. Walking over to him, Hiei brushes a piece of the once fox demon's hair away from his face before leaning down and kissing his forehead.
"Ai shiteru, Kurama. I can't wait for our baby to be born."
Awww! Hiei's being cute! =^.^=
Hiei: ::glares:: I am not.
Are too. Now shut up and be happy! You and Kura are gonna have a baby! Anyways, I'm not sure what it'll be, but send me in names and I might pick one! Though I'll most likely have it being a girl cuz I'm a twit that way! So send me names for whichever gender and I'll base my opinion on the names I like! The next 9 chapters will be the 9 months of Kurama's pregnancy! I know I can't wait!
