Hurray! This chapter is the first month of Kurama's pregnancy! I'm gonna have him be a bad pregnant woman.....Errr.... Man! Not woman, man ^_^;;
Kurama: -_-;;
Hiei: This isn't going to be fun for me, is it?
Nope! Of course not! Where would be the fun for the rest of us if it were easy on you? =^.^=
Hiei: ::sighs::
Anyways, I hope you guys like it! I'm planning on doing a chapter for every month of Kurama's pregnancy, but I'll probably end up cutting it short cuz I'll get bored. Read, review, flame, whatever. If you DO flame, though, I'll just take out my handy dandy marshmellow stick and a bag of yummy, sugary goodness.
Within the next few days, Kurama begins to have cravings for weird foods.
"Hiei?"
"Yes, Kurama?"
"Can you get me some icecream? And some pickles?" He asks in a partially awake voice.
"Pickles and icecream? Sure, I suppose. Anything else?" Hiei replies somewhat confusedly.
"Umm..... Salt and vinegar chips?"
Hiei just raises an eyebrow before walking to the kitchen and beginning to put together Kurama's strange request. As he's digging through the cupboard for the chips, Yusuke comes in.
"What're you making, Hiei? Looks like the recipe from hell got loose to wreck havoc on innocent stomaches," The detective asked while watching Hiei scoop out icecream into a bowl next to the pickles and chips.
"Hn. Kurama asked me to get it for him."
"Kurama's having some weird ass cravings," Yusuke replies as he goes into the cupboard to grab a box of cereal.
"It's all part of being pregnant!" A happy Botan replies as she almost bounces into the room. "Pregnant people get the oddest cravings. Sometimes at the most inconvenient times, too!"
Hiei just groans and brings Kurama his request.
A few months later, Kurama goes back into the doctors to have an ultrasound done. As the view of the 6 month-old fetus shows up on the screen, Kurama's eyes sparkle with happiness and Hiei smiles.
The doctor watches the screen before turning to the two demons and smiling, "It looks like you're going to have a baby girl, Kurma. And she's going to show her kitsune heritage."
Kurama smiles even more and says softly, "A baby girl....... What should name her, Hiei?"
He just shrugs and replies, "It's up to you, Kurama. I'm not so good with names."
The rest of the nine months go the same. Kurama's cravings get weirder and harder to assemble while he starts showing more and more. He goes once a month of an ultrasound thing to check up on their little girl. This continues until one day in July.......
"HIEI!" Kurama almost screams from his room.
Said demon rushes into the room to see what's wrong. He finds Kurama laying on his back in his bed with pain clearly written on his face. Rushing over to him, he asks in an almost panicking voice, "What's wrong, Kurama?!"
"The baby! It's time to go, now!"
Hiei's eyes widen and he lifts him before heading down the hall to the hospital ward. As he gets there, he sets Kurama on a bed before running to get a doctor, "Damn it! Someone get their ass over here!"
The doctor that had been doing Kurama's ultrasounds come over and wraps the curtain around the bed before taking out the supplies needed for the birthing.
"Where the hell is she going to come out? There's no place for it," Hiei points out worriedly.
"Yes there is. During the pregnancy, a closed off place behind his testicles developed. It grows and stays closed until the birth, and goes away afterwards. Now let's get to it, shall we? I'll need you to try and calm him down so he can breath regularly."
Nodding, Hiei takes one of Kurama's hands in his own and squeazes it lightly, "Ok, Fox, you heard what he said. You need to calm down and breath. Just breath deeply."
Kurama struggles to control his breathing again and takes in a deep breath before letting it out and repeating the process. He's able to do this before the really bad contractions start and he whimpers.
Hiei just strokes his hair and murmurs soft, comforting words as he screams and the doctor tells him to push. The entire process takes another hour before a baby's cry is heard.
The doctor whipes her off and hands her to Kurama, "So what are you planning on naming her?"
Kurama looks down at her and smiles tiredly, "Natalie. I'll name her Natalie."
Me: Sorry I haven't updated in forever! I had some serious wrier's block ^_^;;
Kurama: ::sparkley eyes:: I'm a mommy!
Me: Yes you are. Anyways, i decided not to do the full nine months cuz that just would've taken too long! The next chapter will start even more of the fun fun plot!
Hiei: There's more?
Me: YES! I must have SOME form of plot device, don't I?
Kurama: -_-;;
