Yu Yu Hakusho Fan Fiction ❯ My Kitsune ❯ Homecoming ( Chapter 5 )
[ P - Pre-Teen ]
Alright, first thing's first, I called up Yusuke and Hiei was right, Yusuke does know someone who can help us. I scribbled down a man's name and his work address. I can almost see Yusuke leering at me through the phone though, now that he knows my preferrences, it's annoying but very Yususke so I didn't complain. He assured me that he will call ahead to make the arrangements. I thanked him as I grinned at Hiei who's wearing my little brother's clothes.
He looks so normal and yet he didn't seem to belong among regular people. Specially with that katana he's carrying. Well it looks like a souvenir, so I guess he can carry it around.
He's wearing Suiichi's white buttoned up shirt with a pair of blue jeans he had to belt on because he was actually slimmer than my brother. Then a lined Jeans jacket to keep him warm. He looked so... maverick with that forehead ward of his. I let him wear his boots because they didn't look out of the ordinary.
But yeah, I like what I'm looking at. He noticed that I'm staring, so I smiled at him and he blushed his ears pink when my eyes got glued to his slim hips. In my Youko form he'll be so tiny.
"Quit staring at me." he complained as we made our way out the house, my eyes following his nice perky bottom out the door, they were barely covered by that jacket.
"I like the view. Your fault actually, you have a nice... body." I replied honestly. He glared at me then stopped on the sidewalk. "What?" I asked.
"I don't know where we're going. You lead." He replied arms crossed over his chest.
"Ch." I complained but walked ahead. What is it about this shrimp that makes me stupid? Didn't he just outwit me again? I thought I had the market cornered when it comes to smarts.
I am out of here, this is getting stupid, I need to back off and find out what's wrong with me. Why am I not thinking straight? I need to think...
.....
I blushed furiously, I am so embarrased at myself I'm so glad Hiei is behind me, he can't see me as I remembered all the blatant flirting I did. We took the bus for the destination I had in mind and I decided to concentrate on the things we have to do before 7 pm. We have so little time, we have to hurry.
We went to a shop that bought old jewelry and sold the tear gem for a fair price. It will get us farther than Hong Kong and I was hoping all the way to the U.S. because I know deBeers will give us a better price for the diamonds.
Then off to the Foreign Affairs Department where Yusuke's friend helped us out with our needs. It didn't take us long to find him, he left a word at the reception and we were taken to the man's office.
Yusuke must have told him we were in a hurry because, we were given paper work on a pre-arranged table and rushed over legal matters with dizzying speed. Hiei was dragged here and there for pictures and fingerprints and signatures while I answered his forms.
It was confusing but in one hour we got a birth certificate, a voters I.D., and a passport. Yusuke's contact is amazing and downright proffessional. He's done this many times before. Hiei now has legally made illegal documents proving his citizenship.
If I had known about this loophole in the system I would have been gone 2 days ago. But then again I would have missed having Hiei with me....
This is one of the most stupidest things I have ever done. And I can't believe I'm pushing through with this. On my stupid list this is right up there with letting Yomi have his way with me. It started off the same as this one too. 2 years from now I'm going to look back and think 'Seemed like a good idea back then...'
Knowing this cooled whatever joy I should be feeling right now...
We handed the man a small envelope with some money but he refused it, I left it with him anyway, I told him it was between us and I apologized for the bother. I have no doubt that that man is Yakuza and he just saved Narita International from Hiei...
We got out of there as soon as possible because we're on a tight schedule. I hailed a cab and asked to be taken to the Ginza district.
In the cab I called my travel agent and told her I need another ticket for tomorrow morning, I gave her my card number. Then I called Yusuke to thank him and to tell him what happened, we couldn't talk long because he was on his way to another class.
That done I leaned back and sighed with relief. We have passports, we have tickets, we have money, and the last leg of this mad afternoon is simple and fun in that order.
We simply need to deposit Hiei's money in the bank, the we'll have some fun shopping.
I looked at my seatmate, who's reviewing his papers, I leaned in a little to look over his shoulder. He's Mr. Jaganashi Hiei 21 years old, born in Tokyo. In Japan that is a strange name but outside it would be just fine. He was frowning in his picture, he looked pissed. He's so cute when he's frowning like that...
I'm suddently aware of how close I am to him. And all those cliche's about love being thrilling and electric? Well, that's how it was right then, I bit my lower lip to keep from grinning like a loon.
I don't have to remember that now do I? Can I pretend for a few hours I'm not running away and planning on dissapearing?
I- I can always ditch Hiei in Hong Kong... That would be increadibly mean but, he'd be safe, and that's what matters, right? I can do that, yes, I can pretend too that I can have him forever. That he will love me back as much as I love him. It's a wonderful fantasy, painful but wonderful. I want to pretend...
