~Chapter One: Roles Reversed?!- Kit's a Kit!~

"Kori?" Yoko called out hesitantly. He hadn't seen her since the day he had left to return to Ningenkai, the day he left Kori again with a promise of return. But that had been about seven months ago. Okay, so he should have told her he wouldn't have returned for a while. Yusuke and Kuwabara continued to ridicule him, in this form and in a human form, even if Suichi or Kurama had nothing to be embarrassed about, about him being a mall toddler and then a five year old; latching himself to Kori, he didn't mind that part much. "Kori?"

He sniffed the air. Kori's smell was everywhere, then again, it should be. This had been her place for the last sixteen years. His eyes found the garden, where Kori and himself had spent some time planting, growing, watching. He lingered on the roses. They had grown taller, colors of all kinds- blues, purples, reds, whites, yellows, pinks, oranges, and a single black rose, right in the middle. Just as he put it, Yoko smiled, remembering the words- "You are the black rose among all the others."

"Kori, where are you?" Yoko called. He continued to walk around, until he found her trail.

His heart stopped. "Kori?" Beautiful blue eyes turned around to see him. Of course it was Kori. But this wasn't the six foot ten, skinny, lightly tanned, sharp blue eyes, long blonde haired, black earred and tailed kitsune.

This Kori was three foot seven, at the most; big, wide, innocent mid-night blue eyes stared back at him. Her blonde hair was still the same, long as hell, and her tail and ears were still black, she was skinny and lightly tanned skinned, most likely from all the rampaging around that she had always loved to do. A giant red rose was held in her small clawed hands, her nose almost completley buried in it. She blinked at him and then looked down at the rose and nuzzled her face into, inhaling the sweet aroma of the flower.

Kori was getting her revenge, wasn't she? He had been a toddler and then she had gone and reversed the roles, making her become the toddler. Big eyes blinked up at him and he frooze. She was reading him, just like she had always done. It was funny considering she could only be between the ages of two and five.

Yoko couldn't believe it. Big blue eyes blinked at him repeatedly and Yoko watched her carefully as she placed the big rose in the middle of her Indian style positioned lap. Then continued to watch him, as he watched her. Those eyes weren't the same sharp eyes she had always had. No, those eyes had come from years of lonliness, theivery, and murders. But these eyes? Theses eyes were innocent just like a newborn kit's.

"Kori?" he asked walking closer to her and then bending down so he could study her better.

Suddenly, she nodded vigorously, pointing a finger to herself. Then pointed her index finger to him and cocked her head to the side. "My name?" he asked, and as she nodded quickly, he couldn't help but chuckle. "It's Yoko." He pulled her and put her on his shoulders, as Kori laughed wrapping arms around Yoko's neck.

"Oh kami," Koenma stated, as he looked at the familiar kitsune.

"Yep. My thoughts exactley," Yoko replied.

Kori looked at the two. The silver kitsune, Yoko, was very nice. He had carried her here and talking to her, listening to her, even though she was fully aware he could not understand her gibberish. But it was very nice of him to try.

And the other one was Koenma- wasn't that what Yoko had adressed him as? He seemed nice, but he kept staring at her and then going "Oh kami". She remembered that Koenma was the ruler of the Reikai, but he didn't look like a ruler. He looked like... Well, he looked like a toddler.

Kori let out a big yawn and slipped out the door, wanting to explore the rest of the place.

"You might want to keep an eye on her," Koena stated. "Whatever the reason maybe that she turned into a chibi, she is likely to be a target."

Yoko nodded and then headed off to find her.

"Kori? Why do I seem to lose you everywhere I go, kit or... well, bigger Kit?" Yoko asked, himself more than anyone else. "I swear to Inari, when I find you.."

"Hey Yoko!" He turned to face Yusuke and Kuwabara. "What are you doing here?"

"Um... Looking for Kori," Yoko stated, rubbing his arm against the back of his head.

"Wait. Kori came here?" Yusuke asked, looking around. "Are you serious? She hates Koenma more than I do and I think she likes Makai better than Reikai, then again anyone would."

Something tugged at the botton of Yusuke's pants. He looked down and almost burst out laughing, actually he did wind up laughing, almost falling over. "This is why you came here? Payback time for hanging us in our boxers from trees!"

"Yeah!" Kuwabara joined him.

"She had you two hanging in your boxers?" Yoko asked, smirking lightly and raising a light eyebrow. "From trees?"

"It was in a snowy part of Makai," Kuwabara added.

Yoko snorted, "Sounds like something she would do. Although, I believe you are lucky she didn't kill you. She's prone to do that when people piss her off. Maybe you grew on her."

Kori dwalded over to Yoko, after she had tried to get Yusuke's atention again and again with no reaction, and outstreched her arms towoards Yoko, who picked her up. Kuwabara and Yusuke took this time to study the now small kit girl.

"Are you sure thats her?" Kuwabara asked. "She looks to innocent to be... well, Kori. Ad we didn't even know her that long."

"Yeah, I noticed that too. Buts her smell and she looks exactley the same... except younger and innocent," Yoko replied. "Im not quite sure that the innocent part is possible, but its definetley her."

"Well, take her back to the demon on the mountain," Kuwabara said, as though it was the most intelligent thing to say and no one else had ever thought of it. "She fixed you."

"One problem," Yoko started, "That woman was killed about three months ago."
