The Red Rose of Love

Chapter 9

[Hospital-Room 89]

"Rain Miri Urameshi………" The figure said coldly.

"P-please stay away, please……" Rai begged. She could have fought him but she was still weak from her fever.

"No…" He said hastily.

"N-No…" Tears emerged from her umber eyes, "STAY AWAY FROM ME! YYYYYYUUUUUUUSSSSSSUUUUUUUKKKKKKEEEEEEE!"

"Stay quiet." The figure replied harshly.

"YYYYYYYYYUUUUUUUUSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKKEEEEEE!!" Rai shrieked as tears furiously fell down her face.

"I SAID STAY QUIET!" The figure shouted as he smacked her across the face, leaving a red mark.

"YYYUUUUUSSSSSSSSSUUUUUUUUKKKKKKEEEEE!!!!!!!" Rai shrieked louder than ever in her life.

[Spare Room]

Yusuke and Kurama shared a room but in separate beds.

Yusuke snored loudly and his hair was not gelled and his blankets were off him.

Kurama didn’t sleep at all; he just looked up at the ceiling, thinking about Rai and what Yusuke told him.

‘Rain Miri Urameshi…I believe there’s more behind you. I have a feeling that Yusuke-’

"YYYYUUUUUSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!" Kurama then jolted out of his thought and Yusuke fell out of the bed with a loud thump.

"What was that!?" Kurama exclaimed as he got out the bed and pulled on his white blouse and started to button it.

"It was Rai, she’s in trouble!" Yusuke said as he put on his undershirt.

"YYYYUUUUUSSSSSSUUUUUUUUUKKKKKKEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!"

Then the two boys ran out of the spare room and followed Rai’s screams.

[Room 89]

"YYYYUUUUUSSSSSUUUUUKKKKEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Rai screamed louder.

"I said SHUT UP YOU BITCH!" The figure said colder as he started to smack her across the face.

"SSSSSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTTTTTOOOOOOOOOPPPPPPPP!" Rai cried.

Just then Yusuke and Kurama slammed the door opened.

"RAIN!" Kurama shouted, he looked horrified and his eyes were wide.

Yusuke just stood there, rage, anger, hatred and terror filled his eyes.

"YOU BASTARD STOP HURTING HER!" Yusuke screamed as he charged towards him.

"SPIRIT GUN!" Yusuke shouted as spirit energy came out of his finger and shot the figure.

"MOONLIGHT DUST!" The figure shouted as moonlight dust came out of his black cape and shot Yusuke in the arms and legs.

Blood then dripped down on Yusuke's legs and arms, making it fall on the ground.

"You are mere weaklings to me," The figure then got in a still position and hummed something.

"You have yet to experience my real talents." The figure replied.

He then waved his hands around, crossing them back and forth, and then making a circle and then a star appeared in it.

"Now, see my extraordinary powers. Hypnotism Star Circle of the Black Realm!" The figure shouted.

Then everything went pitch black…

[Black Realm]

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE WE!?" Yusuke shouted in total darkness.

"Hey Kurama, where's Rai!?" Yusuke asked, hoping Kurama would answer back.

"How would I know!? We're in a total darkness!" Kurama shouted.

Then a bright light appeared in front of the two boys: it was the figure.

"Watch the Circle and Star…Watch it spin around and around…" The figure chanted.

The circle started to spin; it started out slow.

"What the fuck is he doing!?" Yusuke asked.

"I don't know Yusuke but I suggest we have our guard on." Kurama replied.

The circle then started to spin faster and faster, making the star glow a reddish glow.

Kurama's and Yusuke's eyes then went into a daze.

'From my psychic intuition, when the Circle stops spinning, Yusuke will shoot his spirit gun at me and Kurama would use his rose whip from behind me. I believe I shall show these amateurs what powers the Hypnotism Star Circle of the Black Realm can do.'

Immediately, the circle stopped spinning and Kurama and Yusuke were out of their daze.

"SPIRIT GUN!" Yusuke shouted as he fired the spirit gun.

"ROSE WHIP!" Kurama shouted as slashed his whip from behind the figure.

"Hn, just as I expected," The circle then had a black aura around it, "BLACK STAR OF SATAN!"

Then another circle appeared behind the figure and both attacks headed straight towards Kurama and Yusuke.

"WHAT!?" Yusuke shouted in disbelief.

The circle then sent Yusuke flying backwards and body-slamming into some kind of wall. Blood dripped from Yusuke body and his clothes were torn.

The other circle had knocked out Kurama and he was on the ground. He bled fiercely, his clothes torn, he was covered in scars and was laying in a puddle of his own blood.

"YUSUKE!" A familiar voice shouted.

Yusuke started to move but it caused a sharp pain in his body, "R-Rai…"

Rai was running towards the two boys, "Yusuke! Kurama! Hang on!"

The figure turned around, "Arjuna's Arrow!" A spirit arrow then appeared and headed straight towards Rain.

"RAI!"

Rai then noticed the arrow, "SPIRIT SHIELD!" Immediately a spirit shield appeared and protected the arrow.

"SPIRIT WHIP!" Rain shouted as she slashed her whip, tearing the entire cloak off the figure.

There stood a boy Rain's age, he had long jet-black hair in a long low ponytail up to his back and green eyes. He had an X scar on his right cheek and wore a uniform from the all boys' school Matsudai Toushi Academy. It was a regular school uniform for boys and it was black. Yet there was something different, it had a red dragon on the front of it and the huge one on the back. (Although Yusuke, Kurama and Rain couldn't see it.)

"I was wrong then. You, Rain Miri Urameshi are one of the most strongest woman ever." The figure said as he bowed.

"Thanks for the compliment but I would REALLY like it if you could take my cousin, his friend and I back to the hospital. In Japan, if you don't mind." Rain said as she sweat dropped.

"As the lady wishes." With that the figure snapped his fingers and the four of them vanished.

[Hospital-Japan]

"Wow, we're back and it's already sunrises!" Rai exclaimed as she watches the sun starting to rise.

"Ohmigod, where's Yusuke and Kurama!?" Rai asked with concern as she turned around but only to face the figure, which leaned against the wall.

"Your cousin and his friend are right here." The figure said as he pointed to Kurama and Yusuke, who, were on the ground.

"Yusuke, Kurama, are you two alright!?" Rai asked as she got on her knees and helped her cousin up.

"Yeah we are but what about you? You're the reason why we are in the hospital." Yusuke mumbled.

He then noticed the figure and immediately stood up and stood in front of Rai; Kurama did the same.

"Stand back Rai, this guy's dangerous!" Yusuke said sternly.

"Why would you say that about myself?" The figure asked politely.

"You nearly killed Rai with your sword, hypnotizing us, nearly killing us with your attack and almost killing Rai with another one of your deadly attacks." Kurama frowned.

"Yeah, what he said!" Yusuke agreed.

"It was just a test y'know." The figure replied simply.

"Huh!?" Yusuke looked dumbfounded.

"A test?" Kurama asked, he raised his eyebrow.

"Yes a test. To see if you three are strong and it seems that Lady Rain has proven that." The figure replied.

"Since I'm one of her Spirit Detectives." The figure made a smile, to Yusuke and Kurama it was a sly one.

"WHAT!?" Kurama and Yusuke shouted in disbelief.

"Let me introduce myself. I'm Shun Yuki, 14 years old, and a high school student at Matsudai Toushi Academy. I'm a different kind of Spirit Detective for Lady Arella though. I'm an Arjuna who's a Psychic and Hypnotist." Shun replied.

"An Arjuna what!?" Yusuke asked.

"That's impossible, you can't be an Arjuna! A Tennyo named Kaya Katanya executed all of the Arjunas! It was because they were warriors of Satan that is what I heard of though." Kurama exclaimed, his eyes were wide.

"My ancestors were indeed Arjunas but they were not just servants under Satan, they were also servants under Tennyo Kaya Katanya."

"WHAT!?" Yusuke exclaimed.

"H-How could that be!? I've heard about these Arjunas and they were only servants for Satan! If an Arjuna EVER served under Tennyo Kaya Katanya then they would be sentenced to terrorizing death!" Rai pointed out.

"She's right, they would be dead." Kurama glared his eyes at Shun.

"Yes I know but my ancestor Arjuna Kuro turned his back to his wife Arjuna Aurora and joined Satan and his minions. Therefore Kuro died and Aurora gave birth to another ancestor of mine. Yet since Kuro was an Arjuna who was a psychic and hypnotist and Aurora was an Arjuna who specialized in Astronomy and reflections, the child was a mixture of both Arjunas. Yet in my family's legend that many decades later, that a young boy shall be named a name that shall avoid, blackball and ignore. That would "Shun" and that boy shall have the powers of Aurora and Kuro Yuki." Shun said simply.

Yusuke and Rai blinked, "You're serious?"

"Hn, yes. I'm sorry for calling such vulgar names and smacked you." Shun replied.

"It's alright Yuki-kun…"

"NO IT'S ALRIGHT! RAI HE NEARLY KILLED YOU TWICE!" Yusuke shouted.

"Yes Rai, how can we trust him?" Kurama asked, he narrowed his eyes at Shun.

"I trust him," She turned to face Shun, "I allow you stay at my mansion and be apart of "The Mystic Rose Team" and-" Rai then passed out.

"RAI!" Yusuke shouted as he caught her.

"I'm terribly sorry if I cause any trouble to make her end up like this." Shun apologized as he bowed.

"We ain't buying any of your fucking crap!" Yusuke said loudly as Kurama walked over to him.

"Yes I agree." Kurama frowned.

"Even though Rai's forgiving you, I'm certainly NOT!" Yusuke shouted as Kurama nodded.

"Well then gentlemen, I believe this means war." Shun snickered.
