The Red Rose of Love

Chapter 11

After the chaotic weekend, everything had cooled down. Rai was now talking to Kai but Kai felt a feeling that he’s never felt: Guilty.

[Urameshi Estate]

"Rai, where are you going!?" Kikyo shouted as Rai ran down the stairs of her mansion.

"To the train station of course!" Rai chanted. She had on her school uniform and bag for school.

"Kyaaaaaaaaaaaa! You’re leaving us!?" Kikyo cried. Kai had just then walked to Kikyo.

"Kikyo what are y-"

Kikyo immediately spun around and started to shake him furiously, "KAI! KAI! RAI’S LEAVING US! SHE SAID SHE’S HEADING TO THE TRAIN STATION! DID YOU SAY SOMETHING TO UPSET HER!?"

"What the hell are you talking about…"

"Kikyo, I’m leaving in 5 minutes, after I get something from the kitchen." Rai shouted from downstairs.

"Ack! She’s leaving Kai! Wake up the others and maybe they’ll knock some sense into her! I’ll go get Botan and Ariel!" Kikyo said quickly as she ran to Botan’s room.

‘Oh Jesus…I believe I should wake up Kuwbara, Hiei and Kurama first.’

[Yusuke’s Room]

Yusuke slept peacefully and not snoring and his blankets were off him.

Then the door to his room slammed open to face Kai, Kuwabara, Hiei and Kurama.

"YUSUKE!" They all shouted.

Yusuke immediately jumped out of his sleep and sprang to his feet, "WHY ARE YOU WAKING ME NOW!?"

"Bye everyone! I’ll be at the train station, see you guys later!" Rai’s voice was heard from downstairs and the door slammed.

"RAI! RAI! DON’T GO!" Kikyo’s screams were heard from the hallway.

"That would be our excuse to wake you up." Kai said simply.

Yusuke’s eyes widened and looked out the window and saw Rai running down the streets.

"WHAT IS RAI DOING!? EVERYONE GET OUT THE DOOR BEFORE RAI GET’S THERE!" Yusuke demanded.

"Urameshi, I suggest you change out of your clothes before we head out." Kuwabara pointed at Yusuke’s white pajamas stripped with blue.

"I DON’T CARE ABOUT THAT! LET’S GO!"

[Outside]

"Kikyo, what gives you the idea Rai is running away from home?" Botan asked. She flew on her paddle in the air and she wore her blue pajamas with the stars on it. Her hair was down and little messy from a night's rest.

"Well Rai had a bag full of clothes and stuff, she said at very last minute she heading to the train station and that she didn’t say were she going or that she told anyone but me! She wore her school uniform and that was just a trick so anyone else wouldn’t find out!" Kikyo cried. Kikyo wore a white kimono that was her pajamas and her hair was more messed up than Botan's and flew on her on paddle.

Botan sighed heavily, "Okay Kikyo."

[On Ground-Train Station]

‘Where is the train? It’s late, this isn’t good.’ Rai thought as she looked at her watch. She was at the train station and waiting for the train.

"Thank god that I sent in a note that I would miss school because of this and they said it was alright." Rai smiled at the thought.

[Somewhere Near the Train Station]

Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, Ariel, Kai and Shun ran as fast as their legs carried them.

Kurama wore red silk pajamas on it and his hair was slightly messed and there were small bags of purple under his eyes because he was up all night thinking about Rai. Not to mention his shirt was unbuttoned and boy, ANY girl would love that!

'I had some strange feeling about Rai today...and now look what happens.' Kurama thought.

Kamiya wore a big black T-Shirt that had the American Rock Band "Linkin Park" on it. She had black high heel boots and her hair looked like an 80s girl's hair at a Guns 'n' Roses concert.

'Jesus Christ...it's too fucking earlier in the morning to chase Rai!! Maybe she's running away from Yusuke's torture, hell, ANY girl would do that!' Ariel thought angrily.

Shun's long hair was not in his ponytail hair holder and his clothes were loose pajamas. His shirt was green silk with the initials SY in gold (standing for Shun Yuki in a fancy script) and silk slick green pants and with his hair not in it holder, he looked very feminine and girly.

'I can't believe I forgot my holder! I praise to the lord that I don’t see ANY guys and that they don’t mistake me for a girl...again. Yet again, I rather look like a girl to find where Rain is going.' Shun thought sadly.

Kuwabara wore plain white t-shirt and plain pajama bottoms which were white too.

'Urameshi can be so stupid! For Christ sakes, we're catching after Rai but in our PAJAMAS! WHAT STUPID IDIOT WOULD DO THAT!?!? Asides Urameshi...' Kuwabara thought angrily.

Kai wore a black hooded cape and black leather pants and black boots. Everyone wondered if he was wearing any shirt underneath it...

'God, sometimes Kikyo can be such a bitch...' Kai growled mentally.

And for Hiei, well, he wore what he usually wore. So in all, he didn't feel embarrassed like everyone else who was still in their pajamas. Except for Kai, which was a mystery to all of them, even Hiei.

'I'm the only sane one in this group...asides from Kai.' Hiei thought to himself.

"God, why is Rai running away?! If you did something to her Kai, I’ll kill you!" Yusuke shouted.

"I didn’t do anything lately to her, asides from slapping her on Saturday." Kai replied back.

"Well does anyone KNOW why she left?" Shun asked.

"Maybe she left to visit someone?" Kuwabara remarked.

"HELL NO! SHE WOULD HAVE TOLD SOMEONE THAT! SHE’S NOT THAT STUPID AS YOU!" Ariel shouted.

"Yes, I agree with her." Hiei replied.

‘Rai why are you doing this?’ Kurama thought sadly.

‘Is it something I did or say to you?’ Kurama thought. Hiei was also thinking that same thought too.

[Train Station]

Then a silver and blue train pulled up to the station and the doors opened.

"The train for Kyoto has arrived now please board the train." A voice on the intercom replied.

Rai smiled in relief and boarded the train, "Good, it’s here."

"RAI!" Rai immediately spun around and her eyes widened. There, was her team and Yusuke’s team running towards her.

"WAIT RAI!" Rai then looked up in the sky and saw Botan and Kikyo flying on their paddles.

‘Did they find out?!’ Rai then grabbed her bags and got unto the train.

"BOTAN! KIKYO! HOLD OFF THE TRAIN!" Ariel and Yusuke shouted.

"GOT IT!" Botan and Kikyo shouted as came down and landed on the ground.

"Who’s going to get Rai…" Before Shun could finish, Kurama and Hiei were already ahead of Yusuke, Ariel, Kuwabara and he.

"STOP RIGHT THERE YOU PERVERTS!" Ariel shrieked as she started to run faster.

"KURAMA, HIEI YOU BETTER NOT DOING ANYTHING STUPID OR PERVERTED TO HER!" Yusuke shouted, he was now ahead of Ariel.

"Oh please, sir, hold the train for a few more minutes." Botan begged.

"Or about an hour or so…" Kikyo sighed.

"Sorry girls but if the train leaves at 9:45 then it’s leaving at 9:45." The guy said.

Kikyo and Botan then made a sly smile and turned to face the guy, "We would like two tickets to Kyoto then please."

The man sighed, "I’ll let you girls get on the train for free."

"Even better."

The two girls got on the train and stood near the door, "You’re thinking, what I’m thinking Botan?"

"Yes, Kikyo and it’s a good plan."

Then the train started to move; Kurama, Hiei, Ariel, Kai and Kuwabara had just made it to the platform.

Kikyo then stuck her head out the window, "HEY!"

"KIKYO YOU BITCH! YOU WERE SUPPOSE TO HOLD OFF THE TRAIN!" Ariel replied hastily.

"YOU TOO BOTAN!" Yusuke shouted.

"Well boys catch the train and then break down the doors! It’s very simple!" Botan shouted.

The teams looked at each other and then sighed, "We’ll be in big trouble after all this chaos."

Then Kai started to run after the train, "FOLLOW ME!"

The train started to move faster and Kai unleashed his attack, "SOLITUDE BEAM!" A black light then came out of Kai’s hand and broke down the doors to the train.

Botan stuck her head out of the window, which, Kai also broke, "HURRY! YOU GOTTA RUN FASTER NOW!

Kai then jumped onto the train and Kikyo grabbed him by the wrist, just in case of him falling backwards.

It was then Shun’s and Ariel’s turn to get onto the train, "Kamiya, you can’t just jump like everyone else." With that Shun picked up Ariel and carried her in his arms and jumped onto the train.

"LET GO OF ME! I’M NOT A BABY!" Ariel shrieked. Then they got onto the train and Shun put her down.

"Now that wasn’t so bad, was it?" Shun winked; Ariel flushed.

It was then Kuwabara’s and Yusuke’s turn, "LET’S GO!" The two boys then jumped onto the train but landed on the ground of the train hallway on their stomachs.

"Nice move, baka." Ariel grunted.

Hiei and Kurama were the only ones left, "Hiei, you go first, I’ll go right after you."

"Hpmh, fine fox. If the train’s gone then it’s your own fault." Hiei frowned. He then jumped onto the train and landed gracefully on the train.

"You did better then the two bakas here Hiei." Ariel smirked.

"Shut up Kamiya." Hiei, Kuwabara and Yusuke snickered.

The train had gone at a faster pace and Kurama was the last one. He had his rose whip out, "ROSE WHIP!" Then the whip shot out and then wrapped around one of the poles of the train inside.

He then gave a tug and then seconds later; he was on the train.

"Now see, that wasn’t so bad was it?" Botan asked.

"Botan I’m gonna kill you." Yusuke snapped.

"You bet I’m telling Lady Arella about this Kikyo." Kai remarked.

[Somewhere else on Train]

Rai found herself a nice comfortable seat near the window and sat down.

‘I think I’ll write in my diary now.’ Rai thought as she pulled out her pink book and black pen.

Dear Diary,

It’s Monday morning and I’m heading to Kyoto. I’ve already told the school I would be missing some school for the next week and be back the next. I have two reasons for doing this. First one is to visit someone very important to me. It’s his birthday today and I can’t miss it. The second reason is to maybe find more clues about Kumar Fire. I had called Yusuke’s, Kuwabara’s, Kurama’s and Ariel’s school saying that they would be missing some school this week. I told Kikyo and I left tickets and a note saying that. I wanted them to help but I gave them tickets for the next day. Except Yusuke, since I wanted to him to be here on this special day. I’m going to take a nap now, I’ll write in you later.

Rai Urameshi

Rai then closed her book and put it away, ‘I hope Lady Arella is right about this…’ Rai thought as she closed her eyes.

[Flash Back]

"Rai, I want you to head out to Kyoto with the Urameshi team and yours too." Lady Arella replied. Her brown hair was wavy and her aqua eyes looked gentle. She wore a long white and crystal dress with a silk silver trail attached to it.

"That’s good to here, Lady Arella. I was heading out to Kyoto anyway." Rai smiled.

"That’s good.

[End of Flashback]

Then the train stopped and Rai slowly opened her eyes; she was in Kyoto.

"I guess I fell asleep." With that Rai grabbed her bags and got off the train.

[Somewhere Else on the Train]

"That was the most embarrassing train ride I’ve EVER been on." Ariel snickered. The entire ride to Kyoto, Kurama and Yusuke had fought about Rai and things involving her. Except that Hiei would step in and say something to make the fight worse. Botan and Kikyo watched in amazement, Kai just kept his eyes close as well as Shun and Kuwabara would make stupid comments as well when Yusuke and Kurama fought.

"Look it’s Rai!" Kikyo sang as she pointed to Rai walking off the platform.

Hiei, Kurama and Yusuke immediately looked up and sprang from their seats and dashed out the door.

"Let’s go before they make fools out of themselves." Kai remarked.

[Platform]

"Hey Rain, over here!" A man 23 years old replied. He had blonde hair and gray eyes; his hair covered one eye. He wore a white blouse and black pants.

"Oji-san!" Rai beamed as she ran over to the man "Oji-san."

Yusuke, Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, Botan, Ariel, Kikyo, Shun and Kai looked from the bush. They didn’t hear Rai say Oji-san.

"Ohayou Rain-chan, how are you these days?" He asked politely.

"I’m fine, how are you and everyone?" Rai asked.

"Fine." He then gave her a kiss on the forehead.

From the bush, Kuwabara had to grab Yusuke by the arms, Botan had to grab onto Kurama’s legs, Shun put his sword to Hiei’s neck and Kikyo and Kai grabbed Ariel and Kikyo sat on her.

"Well I suggest we get going now."

"Hai." With that the two got into the car and sped off.

With that Yusuke, Hiei, Kurama and Ariel emerged from the bush, "PERVERT!"

Kikyo had fallen on Botan, Shun landed in Kai’s lap, and Kuwabara fell on his back, hard.

"WHO EVER THAT GUY IS I’M GONNA KILL HIM!" Yusuke shouted.

"Need a ride?" A girl out of nowhere replied. She was in black sports car with a man who was 18 years old. She had violet hair and sapphire eyes. The man had black spiky hair and green eyes.

"Hell ya!" Yusuke shouted.

"YUSUKE!"

"Could you take me and these guys in your car? Could you also follow that car as well?" Yusuke asked hastily.

"Sure. But this car can only fit four people." The girl replied.

"Kurama, Hiei, Kuwabara, get the hell over here and get into the car!" Yusuke commanded.

"Ariel, you’ll come ride with Botan and I on our paddles." Kikyo smiled while Ariel sighed.

"We’ll just follow you guys." Shun replied as Kai huffed.

YAYNESS!!! Another chapter finished and done! Now onto chapter 12! YAY!!! *bounces off*
