Chapter Eight: Hiei's Rage

"Okay, fight fans, it's time for the next fight!" yelled Himeko.
"From Team Gijutsu is Kama! And we have the traitorous Hiei from Team Urameshi! Fighters ready, GO!" roared Tero.
Kama laughed, evilly, as he removed the hood of his cloak.
The hood revealed a vaguely human face, with strange goggles and a mouth-thing on. The mouth-thing looked like a breathing mask, with several vents cut. In fact, the mask looked very much like the masks worn by the ninjas in Mortal Kombat.
Kama threw back the cloak from his arms, yet left it clasped around his body. His arms were covered in a metal plate from the elbows to the heel of the hand.
"Hm, it has been a very long time, Hiei. I can feel that your power has increased substantially. However, you could not possibly defeat me. My abilities have increased ten-fold. You will most certainly die!" Kama's voice was raspy and low. He cackled again.
"Hn. You're going to lose very badly, you twisted freak!" Hiei whipped out his katana and spun the hilt in between his index and middle fingers.
"Yes, I can understand your anger, Hiei. We didn't exactly leave each others company as friends, did we?" Kama said, laughing in his low, crackling voice. "As I recall, you did not approve of the operations I was going to have." Kama sighed. "Ahh, well. It does not matter now. The operations have been preformed and I am now the being you see before you."
"How could you kill your teammate like that? The Kama I knew would never kill an ally, even if they lost," Hiei growled.
"Ah, but I am no longer that Kama." He emphasized the word that. "I am now improved. I have become stronger, faster, and more powerful. I am now a techno-being, not a simple Demon. My body has been enhanced with a series of mechanics, armors, and hydraulics to make me better. I am Techno-Kama. I am Cyber-Kama. I am Robo-Kama. But I am NOT Kama! I am Kama Prime, the most powerful warrior you will ever fight!"
Kama shot the metal bars out of his arms.
"I see you had your blades removed," Hiei commented.
"Yes. I had the bone-scythes removed. Now I have these Spirit Conductive rods. They enhance my Spirit Power to great heights, and allow me to manipulate it. Fear my new power! The Scythe of Eternal Damnation!"
Black Spirit Energy sprouted from the end of the left bar in a scythe-like blade. *Scythe of Eternal Damnation*
Kama lunged at Hiei with the blade pulled back. Hiei dodged as Kama plunged the energy deep into the floor.
Kama ripped the blade free and spun around in time to block Hiei's attack. Hiei' Katana stuck in the crook of Kama's scythe. Kama swung the weapon around, wrenching free Hiei's Katana from both the scythe and Hiei's hand. The blade flew across the arena.
"You don't seem so confident now that you have lost your Katana."
"Hn. That's just because you are too blind to see my emotions, you monstrosity. Perhaps I can remedy that by blasting another hole into your skull!"
Flames swirled around Hiei's fist as he pulled it back and jumped into the air. As he came flying down, he swung out with a powerful punch. *Fist of the Mortal Flame*
Fire exploded as Hiei made contact. The Fire Apparition hopped back onto his feet a stepped away a bit.
Then the fires died away.
"Hah! I expected more, Hiei. Your attack was futile. You barely scuffed my scythe! Hah! I am going to crush you!" Kama yelled as he swung out with the scythe.
Hiei barely dodged, the energy blade barely slicing the fabric of Hiei's shirt. The Fire Apparition jumped high before releasing a barrage of punches and kicks upon Kama. The Techno-Demon staggered back after the onslaught.
"That is IT! No more Mr. Nice Kama-Prime! It's time for the Wave of Eternal Damnation!"
Kama held his scythes in an X-shape over his body, with the blades facing out. He swung down with both at the same time, causing the dark energy to rush out in a wave. *Wave of Eternal Damnation*.
The wave rocketed towards Hiei, hovering above the ground.
Quickly, Hiei jumped above the wave, dodging the attack.
"Is that the best you can do, Kama?" Hiei scoffed.
"My name is no longer Kama! I am Kama-Prime!"
Kama quickly fired off 10 waves at different heights. The waves jetted off, causing rock shards and dust to explode off the ground in their paths.
Hiei quickly dodged some, but he was hit by the final wave. The energy sliced through his side, causing blood to spray all over the arena floor.
"Hah! You see? Even your supreme speed cannot match the power of the Wave of Eternal Damnation. And now, my finisher!"
Kama held his arms out from his sides, both parallel to the ground. Hiei stared on in wonder and pain as he clutched his wounded side.
`I must keep fighting. I can't let this psychotic bastard win! It's time for my secret technique!' thought Hiei.
The wounded Fire Apparition rose to his feet. He held his arms out in front of him, and summoned an orb of dark flames in between his hands.
"Hah! It's too late, Hiei! Now you will face the Death Shadow!" cackled the warped demon.
Suddenly, a Grim Reaper-like figure appeared behind Kama. The figure was immense, its arms as long as Kama's arms and the scythes combined. The scythe wielded by the thing was even longer.
"Now, fear my awesome powers!" yelled Kama.
The figure rose high into the air and raised its scythe in both `hands'. The being rocketed towards Hiei. *Death Shadow*.
`No! I must defeat him! I must finish this move!' thought the now frantic Hiei. The fire in his hands had now turned a midnight blue. It was the size of a basketball, and looked quite threatening.
"It's time, Kama, for you to atone for your sins. This is the Fire of the Tainted Soul! For every crime you have ever committed, every injustice ever perpetrated, you will suffer ten-fold!" Hiei yelled, the Grim Reaper nearly upon him.
Hiei pulled back his arm, raised the orb above his head, and hurled the flames at Kama with all his might. The flames shot through the Grim Reaper, growing brighter and larger as they did.
"NO!" Kama roared as he slashed out at the flames. However, his energy only caused the flames to burn even brighter.
At last, the orb hit Kama. In an instant, the demon was ablaze with the midnight fire. *Fire of the Tainted Soul* He screamed in utter agony, as each crime was burned out of his soul and turned into the fires that coated his body.
Kama had turned into a demon-torch. The cloak billowed around him, casting fire and sparks everywhere. The energy blades dissipated.
At last, a few moments later, the body was completely burned away. All that remained was Kama's technological enhancements.
"Now, Kama, let your sins be weighed by Lord Enma, who shall not be as kind as I," growled Hiei as he walked off stage.
"And the winner is, Hiei, form Team Urameshi!" yelled Koto.
The crowd booed.
"Shall I perform that move on all of you? I have the power, and you all know it. Do not test my patience!" snapped Hiei. The crowd fell silent.
"The next fighters should now enter the ring. It's one from Team Gijutsu, against perhaps all five of Team Urameshi. I don't know about you, but I'd love to see him pull THAT upset!" cheered Koto.
The crowd, too, cheered to her statement.
