"Allow me to reacquaint you with the ground!" Elder Toguro shouted sadistically, a sick grin on his face.

Throwing his hand down with so much force, I had already flinched before Kuwabara's body smacked roughly against the white tiled surface. All of us stared worriedly at Kuwabara, seeing the cuts and the blood that littered his body from the abuse. His teeth were clenched from the pain, both from the impact with the ring and from the digits that were still embedded deeply into his skin. Blood was still freely flowing from his old and new wounds, staining the ground beneath him, and I clenched my fists tightly at the sight of my friend in pain. Elder Toguro, as I had fucking feared, really was immortal from the looks of things. Even if he didn't have any limbs he could probably fucking grow new ones whenever he wanted, he could move his organs around, and all this other shit! He just couldn't fucking die! Fear was gnawing at my insides now, making me feel sick to my stomach, but I still held onto a sliver of hope despite how dismal things looked right now.

Yusuke clenched his fists, taking a step forward. "You bastard!" He shouted venomously.

"Toguro makes a smashing comeback slamming Kuwabara face first into the concrete!" Koto shouted as her eyes gleamed happily at the sight before her, already out of her seat to get a better look at the two in the ring.

Elder Toguro laughed insanely, his amber eyes shrunken and crazed  as he stared at the red haired ningen before him. "Now your chance to cry and beg for your life like your dear friend Genkai did right before my brother killed her!" He shouted/lied, twisting what really happened. I glared at him heatedly, not only was he a sick, insane bastard, but he was also a compulsive lying one, how fun.

"Liar!" I hissed angrily.

Kuwabara only glared at him defiantly, his teeth clenched.

Juri quickly noticed the red haired ningen's position on the floor and rose her left arm, while I couldn't help but growl under my breath. This was really starting to look like Kuwabara's first match here, and that wasn't good. "Oh! Kuwabara appears to be down, so I guess I better start the count! 1! 2! 3!-"

"You can stop, I have other plans for this one that don't include him living to see the end of this match!" Elder Toguro smirked darkly.

"I'm sorry sir but I have to count." Juri said nervously.

Elder Toguro turned to her, insane eyes landing on her form, and she instantly stiffened at the sight of that look. I couldn't have felt more sorry for her. "Then you will end up next to him!" He threatened seriously, a sick smirking crawling across his lips. Even if that wasn't directed at me at all, I still couldn't help but shutter at the sight of it, Elder Toguro was scary as shit!

"O-Okay then..." Juri stuttered, backing away.

Elder Toguro looked away from her, back to the boy before him once again. "The funny thing is that even if you could stand up, which you can't," he let out that fucking annoying laugh as his eye appeared where his thumb was and his head appeared where his hand was suppose to be, "there's no way you could beat me! You see you'll never be able to precisely pin-point my vital organs because they are never in one place for very long!" He said happily, and I glared at him heatedly, I wanted this fucker dead even if it wasn't -apparently- possible!

"Whether its this fight or the next one, Toguro, know this: I will beat you." Kuwabara said, his voice -despite being coated in pain- held a determined tone in it, his eyes narrowed squarely on Elder Toguro's insane eyes.

Elder Toguro let out a 'hmph' reforming his body back to the way it was, but despite the smirk on his lips he was actually irritated and annoyed. "I was going to play with you a while longer but your voice grows irksome!" Holding out his free hand, it turned into a sharp blade, making me swallow thickly. "Perhaps I'll just cut out your tongue!" He hissed, the tip of the black glistening with blood lust like it's counter part.

"Kuwabara." Yusuke mumbled worriedly.

My body shook slightly, but not from fear. "Dammit, I hate this!" I growled lowly, my eyes narrowed fiercely into a cold glare.

Elder Toguro smirked cruelly at the blade, let out a dark chuckle as he examined it. "My mother always wanted me to become a surgeon!" He said turning his murderous gaze on the ningen once again.

Kuwabara didn't say anything, he only stared at Elder Toguro with a narrowed gaze. However, I was easily able to see a frown on his lips, his forehead creasing as thoughts ran through his head, trying to find the right course of action to get him out of this. I frowned, that looked seemed to familiar for my liking, considering that was what I probably looked like when I was facing Kane. We both had been pinned down, swords aimed at us, it was all too familiar. But there was also a similarity that I couldn't help but be thankful for. The look that crossed Kuwabara's face as he looked around told me that he had a plan. His eyes were locked on his hilt, it laying a few feet behind Elder Toguro. Narrowing his eyes, I saw his hand moving forward a bit, also reminding me of my fight as I desperately tried to reach for my sword. But that wasn't the similarity that I was talking about. You'll soon see what I mean.

"It's a pity I played hooky the day we dissected frogs! Well, here goes!" Elder Toguro said, his eyes shrinking as he grinned wickedly, raising the blade.

Juri's eyes widened. "Yikes!"

"You monster!" Shizuru shouted from the stands, her voice filled with worry.

Slashing the blade down towards Kuwabara, I felt my breath hitch, the fear increasing with each slow passing second. "Pray while you can!" Elder Toguro shouted, eyes alight with excitement and glee, almost making me sick to my stomach by just looking at the fucking bastard. However, before I could think of closing my eyes at the sight that was about to transpire, but something completely different happened.

"Come to papa!" Kuwabara suddenly shouted, eyes narrowed determinedly on the hilt before him.

Kuwabara got to his knees, raising his hand as bright colorful Energy shot out like electricity from his palm. The Energy skipped across the ring's surface, and we all watched with wide eyes as the Energy hit the hilt, tossing it high into the air. That was the similarity. The sudden attack made Elder Toguro stop short, and I swear I saw his eyes widen slightly at the unexpected move from the red haired ningen, and I couldn't help but smirk at him. Take that, ya bastard! My eyes darted back to the hilt that was being suspended in air, the Energy now forming into the blade like it did a few minutes before. I crossed my arms over my chest, not even caring if I was acting cocky, things were starting to go in OUR favor for a change, so shh!

Elder Toguro hesitantly glanced over his shoulder. "What is that? He asked.

"It's another round of slicin' for the bad guy." Kuwabara got to his feet, narrowing his eyes dangerously. "Goodbye." He said lowly.

The next thing we all knew, the hilt had turned towards Elder Toguro, slicing through the man's skin easily. Blood splattered across the ring floor, his arms, torso, waist and legs all falling apart to the ring floor as Elder Toguro let out a shout of pain, his eyes wide. All of us stared in surprise and shock, watching as the hilt went towards Kuwabara, who caught it easily, his eyes never leaving Elder Toguro's form as it slammed onto the concrete. The colorful Energy crackled around Kuwabara's form, his Spirit Energy still high despite the match easily being over. I let out a sigh of relief, not even noticing that I did it at the same time as Kuwabara.

Kuwabara turned to Juri. "I call the shots, and I do want a count!" He shouted, eyes in a glare.

Juri jumped slightly at the shout, knocking her out of her shocked state as well. "I shouldn't be taking orders from you guys, but since this one comply with the actual rules... 1!" She counted, raising her left hand once again.

"There's no need for that young lady." Elder Toguro's voice suddenly laughed.

My right eye twitched in anger and annoyance. "God fucking dammit, die already!" I shouted, stomping my foot on the ground, an irk mark on my temple. Geez!

Elder Toguro ignored my shout of anger, just continuing to laugh as he slowly lifted himself off the ground to look at Kuwabara's unfazed form. "You are quiet the slow learner. Kuwabara, I thought we already established that my body does not like to go to pieces so it doesn't." He said smirking darkly, his muscles once again joining together, making me shutter once again. It looks so gross!

"Too bad." Kuwabara watched as Elder Toguro's clothes mended together. "It's a look you deserve." He spat evenly.

The white skinned man chuckled creepily once again. "I've been very sporting, you know I've told you exactly how to end my life and yet you are obviously unfit to do it." He mocked, looking up at Kuwabara with a little cocky smirk on his lips that was really starting to piss me off.

I glared at Elder Toguro as he continued to laugh that fucking annoying laugh of his, my fists clenching at my sides in anger and concern for the red haired ningen before me. However, my eyes suddenly began to widen -the others as well- as we saw Kuwabara's sword suddenly began to change color and shape. The Energy blade that shot out of the hilt was becoming fatter with each passing second, and the rainbow color of the blade began to turn to a dark purple, electricity spurting out of the flat circular shaped blade. Well I guess it would be called a racket now considering it wasn't a blade anymore... But my mouth dropped open in shock, how many of these new attacks are Kuwabara gonna show?! I mean it's cool and all, but come on I feel like I haven't shown anything that impressive! My moment of insecurity was forgotten when Elder Toguro suddenly stopped chuckling, his eyes narrowing slightly at the weapon in Kuwabara's hands, and I hoped that this would be the last time the fucker got up.

Kuwabara looked at his racket shaped weapon for a brief second before he turned to Elder Toguro, his eyes narrowed and cold. "I thought about what you said before, Toguro, and you're right. I got no way of knowing where your vital organs are hiding, so I'll just pound everything all at once." He said emotionlessly, and I had to blink a couple of times to make sure that this was the same Kuwabara I've known for almost a year. I've never seen him act like this before.

"Kuwabara has shaped his sword into something like a giant tennis racket, and I believe he's about to make Toguro into his unwilling bright yellow ball!" Koto announced with a wide eyed expression, knocking me out of my thoughts.

I narrowed my eyes, arms crossed. "Lets hope the fucker stays down this time." I hissed, earning a nod from Yusuke and Kurama.

"Stay back!" Elder Toguro shouted, making my eyes snap to him.

Kuwabara walked forward, only stopping a few inches from the small, unknown youkai, his expression hard and merciless. "Well since we're sharing here, my mother always wanted me to be an exterminator. So now, it's time to make her proud of me! Spirit Flyswatter!" He shouted, and I bit my lip, hoping that this would be the attack that would end this round. Please...

Kuwabara tightened his grip on the hilt of his sword as he pulled it back, throwing all of his weight into the attack as he swung it down. Elder Toguro let out one last shout of horror as the purple Energy Spirit Flyswatter slammed onto his body, dust flying out from beneath it in ten streams. The ring around Elder Toguro cracked under the pressure, the ring cracking out in the shape of a spider's web and the rumbling of the attack began to fade away. I stood with everyone, our faces solemn and devoid of any emotion, eyes narrowed. I wasn't going to celebrate yet, not until I knew the bastard was finally dead and we could finally have Kuwabara here with us. I just hoped that this would be the end of this fucking round, it's been too much.

"Whoa! Nobody around here expected that Kuwabara had enough Energy to whack Toguro into oblivion!" Koto shouted, smiling widely.

All of us ignored her, watching as Kuwabara straightened up once again before turning to the green haired ref. "Okay Juri, call the stinking match!" He shouted, and I had to flinch at the sound of his annoyed voice, I knew that when he came back to us he was going to be pissed. I don't blame him...

"I-I'll check it out!" Juri laughed nervously running over to the hole before peering in, frowning. "Ew, there's nothing left of him." She muttered into the mic.

"Good!" I shouted, my eyes still narrowed.

Juri ignored me, raising her left arm. "And the winner of the fourth match of the Finals is Kuwabara!" She shouted, smiling.

The crowd instantly erupted in shouts of boos and other noises that I couldn't even begin to identify. But I ignored them, letting out a sigh of relief, my hand going to my still beating heart. Thank god that was finally over, I don't think I could have handled anymore with that fucking sadistic psychopath. Looking back at the ring, I heard Kuwabara let out a 'hmph' as he turned towards us, and I frowned as I saw him holding the emotionless look on his face. His eyes were locked on Yusuke's form, and I bit my lip, he was seriously pissed off. I knew we should have told him sooner!

"In a major unforeseen upset, the underdog Team Urameshi moves ahead of the reigning champions Team Toguro, 3-1!" Koto announced over the shouts.

As Kuwabara stepped onto the ground all of us ran over to him, and as we drew closer the look on his face only seemed to grow as Yusuke came towards him. "It's about time you won a fight. That was awesome." All of us stopped a few feet away from Yusuke, and I could already see the confused look on Yusuke's face as Kuwabara didn't say anything. "...You all right there man?" Yusuke asked, but the smirk he had on instantly dropped.

Kuwabara still didn't say anything, just let out a shout as he pulled back his fist, slamming it into Yusuke's jaw. The impact of the punch echoed around the stadium and I had to flinch at the sound of it. All of us watched with different expressions as Yusuke stumbled forward, blood falling from his lips as a bruise was already forming on his left cheek. Kurama actually looked slightly shocked, Koenma looked at the two with a frown, Hiei was just being Hiei, and I was looking at Kuwabara with a guilty look on my face. Yusuke steadied himself out, his eyes narrowed in confusion as he looked over his shoulder at the red haired ningen. And I couldn't believe that he actually looked confused, but I guess this is Yusuke we're talking about so this shouldn't be so surprising to me, but it is.

"What was that for?" Yusuke asked, his tone confused as well.

"I thought that we were a team, but I guess I'm just one big joke to you all, aren't I? Well this joke has feelings! Genkai meant a lot to me, too!" Kuwabara glared heatedly as he stepped towards Yusuke, grabbing him by his collar, bringing him close to his face. "Did you all just sit around and laugh about how clueless I was?! Is this how you get your kicks, Urameshi?! Huh?!" He shouted in his face, his body shaking slightly.

Yusuke only looked down.

However, I spoke in his place. "Kuwabara it wasn't like that, you know we-"

"Shut up, Kira!" Kuwabara snapped, making me flinch and he turned back to Yusuke. "Answer me!" He demanded angrily.

Yusuke still said nothing.

"Kuwabara, listen." Kurama started, stepping towards the two.

Like he did with me, Kuwabara glared at Kurama heatedly. "This doesn't concern you!" He shouted with a growl, and I bit my lip, stopping myself from saying anything else. He DID have a right to be angry at us for keeping this from him, so I couldn't say anything to stop him.

Kurama, however, kept going despite the shout. "Yusuke did not tell Hiei, Kira or me either, we were left to detect her passing for ourselves." He explained solemnly.

"Is this true?" Kuwabara asked, his eyes loosening from their glare, turning to Yusuke.

Yusuke looked up at Kuwabara as the red haired ningen slowly let him go before he looked at the ground. "I didn't tell anybody. She died in my arms." He said a bit shakily, his fists shaking at his sides, his eyes glazing over as if he was re-watching the whole thing once again, and I couldn't even imagine what that must have been like. To see the person you looked up to die in your arms.

"Then what?" Kuwabara asked.

"I asked Koenma to take her place, temporarily. At least that's what I told him." Yusuke looked up at Kuwabara as he glanced at Koenma briefly. "I guess I thought if I never said it, it wouldn't have to be real. I'd like to think that I know better than that now. The only way to move on is to give her death the reverence she deserves and to give grief it's due. But that's why I couldn't tell you, I'm sorry that you had to find out the way you did, Kuwabara, and I'm sorry that you felt we punked you. But I can't apologize for dealing with this the only way that I knew how." He said, walking passed Kuwabara, a deep frown on his lips.

They stayed silent, and I looked at Kuwabara worriedly. Sure I knew that this really couldn't ruin their friendship, but I was worried that he wouldn't forgive him. The long silence that was over the stadium continued to grow, and the boys and I just continued to watch, waiting for whoever to break it.  I just hope it would be one of them before the match would start and there wouldn't be time.

"Urameshi." Kuwabara finally spoke up, and Yusuke stopped, waiting. "Win this."

Yusuke smirked slightly. "Right."

Yusuke's smirk, however, dropped when he continued to walk forward, cracking his knuckles as his gaze locked on Toguro's form. Toguro stared Yusuke down as well, and despite his dark sunglasses hiding his eyes, I could already tell that they were narrowed as well. Yusuke stopped before the ring, and neither of them spoke or moved a muscle, just continued to stare the other down. I didn't like the looks between them, considering I could already feel tension beginning to form in the air, making my nerves become alert. It was only a matter of time before they faced each other, I just wish that there was more time for Yusuke to train. I didn't doubt him, not by a long shot, but I would feel so much better if I knew that Yusuke had another few months of training before facing this fucker. But all we could do now was hope for the best I guess, and that's what I hated most about this. I just hope that this ends in our favor, I don't think I could deal with another death.

Koto took this silence as a good place to talk. "It's grudge match time, team captain facing off with team captain. There's lots of bad blood between these two, and gallons of it are likely to spill right here on this stadium floor so stay tuned cause it's sure to get messy. You can cut the tension around here with a seven foot samurai sword as the crowd waits. Some scramble to place last minute bets before the windows close. Surprisingly the odds have shifted. Thanks at least impart to his teams momentum, Yusuke Urameshi is now considered the odds on favorite to win this match." She said, for once with a serious look on her face.

"Toguro." Sakyo spoke up. "Allow me to go first."

I smirked, despite the situation, punching the air. "Fuck yeah, easy out!" I shouted, ignoring the sweat drops around me and the blank stares that I got.

"Onna, refrain from saying your idiotic comments out loud." Hiei said annoyed, glaring at me slightly.

"Why? We'll practically WIN the Tournament if we win this fight!" I said with a bright smile on my lips, after this fight we'll get to go home and no one -else- will die and we won't ever have to deal with this damn Tournament again! Oh, I couldn't wait for this fight to begin, and I don't think I've ever said that about a fight in this Tournament at all! :D

Hiei stared at me blankly. "Do you honestly believe that they'll let us win this easily?" He asked, raising an eyebrow.

"...Yes." I answered slowly, glancing off to the side.

"Baka Onna." Hiei rolled his eyes.

I got an irk mark on my temple, sending a piercing glare at the fire youkai to my right. "I aim to please." I spat sarcastically, an anime mad face beginning to appear, while Hiei stared at me indifferently and Kurama sighed.

"It shows." Hiei fired back easily.

"Asshole." I hissed.

Another eye roll from Hiei. "Very mature."

"Thank you." I stuck my tongue out at him, but I let out a yelp when I felt pain shoot through my head, and I held it, seeing Hiei lower his hand back down to his side with a smirk on his lips. "OW! You dick! I'm gonna kill you!" I shouted lunging at him, only to be held back by a certain red haired kitsune who was surprisingly keeping me in place despite how hard I was thrashing.

"Kira, calm down please." Kurama said, sweat dropping at me.

Any other time I would have listened, but seeing the mocking smirk on Hiei's lips made me ignore him. "Only after I punch his fucking face in!" I growled.

"Kira." There's that tone again.

I instantly stopped thrashing, not liking the sound of his tone especially when I was dangerously close to him. "...Fine!" I huffed, crossing my arms as I went limp in his, and once he was satisfied with my stillness he set me on the ground, while I pouted. I, once again, feel like a child, and if you haven't noticed I hated that.

After our moment, we instantly calmed down, hearing the sound of Sakyo's shoes hitting the ring floor. We all turned, seeing Sakyo walking towards Juri with a calm expression on his face. I narrowed my eyes at him, wondering what the rich asshole was going to do now. Sure he hasn't done anything -to my knowledge- yet, but I still couldn't be too sure. For all we know he could change this whole Tournament around and I don't like the thought of that at this moment. Right now I was happy and dammit I wanted to stay happy! The boys and I narrowed our eyes seriously, and the whole stadium quieted down once Sakyo stepped in front of Juri, and we all waited for whatever words to pass between them.

"The mic, please?“ Sakyo asked, holding out his hand expectantly.

“Uh...okay.“ Juri mumbled, handing it to him.

“I'd like to place one last bet before the fifth match begins.“ Sakyo started, looking all around at the youkai in the stadium, and us as well. Oh great, I can't wait to hear what he bids on this. Not.

Hiei narrowed his eyes. “What's he planing?“ He asked, the annoyance clear.

“I bet it's something bad.“ Kuwabara suggested, frowning.

I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms over my chest. “Well gee, how fun.” I spat sarcastically, narrowing my eyes at Sakyo's form. I had a bad feeling about this ningen.

Sakyo, however, ignored us a serious look on his face, lips pressed into a thin line. Well this can't be good. I think. “Of course, being the team owner, I'm going to wager on Toguro to win. As for the particular stakes, I offer up my life.” He said, instantly causing murmurs to erupt in the stands, while we just stared wide eyed.

“The fuck?” I asked, wondering if he was insane. He probably was.

Kuwabara was in the same boat as me, and he looked around at us. “But if Sakyo's dead, who will fight next?” He asked, confusion as clear as day in his tone and on his face.

“Nobody.” Koenma said solemnly, arms crossed.

“Sakyo is attempting to effectively make this the decisive battle. Very clever.” Hiei said sarcastically, his eyes narrowed into a dangerous glare on the ningen.

I didn't like how that sounded at all, so the fucking insane ningen was going to make Yusuke have a tougher battle just because he was bored with his regular betting ways? “Stupid fucking asshole, I can't wait til we win this fight.” I hissed angrily, my fists clenched at my side.

“What I am proposing here is that whichever team happens to win this match in essence earns two points.” Sakyo began. ”I'm doing this as a man of the people and in that vain I must always strive to give the people the competition they desire. Putting aside my own ego, I know the fans would find it anti-climatic for this tournament to be decided by two alternates. The public deserves to have the true stars of this Tournament determine it's outcome. Urameshi vs Toguro.” He looked at Koenma, a smirk on now his lips as he said. “Of course this will only work if their team's owner and the honorable Tournament Committee can agree to my terms.”

Kuwabara's jaw dropped open. “His heads gone haywire! Who just goes and bets their own life like that?!” He asked, his eyes narrowing in confusion once again.

“Yeah, I'll do it!” All of us turned to Koenma in shock. “I accept your challenge, I'm placing my life on Yusuke to win.” He said as he stepped forward, his eyes narrowed seriously and I stared at him wide eyed. WHAT?!

“Koenma!” Yusuke shouted, the same expression on his face as he turned around.

“Are you serious?!” I added instantly.

Koenma turned to Yusuke, the confident look on his face now gone. “Now I know how you feel about me, but please don't let that get in the way. At least look like you're trying to win.” He said in a sad attempt at a joke, how could he joke at a time like this?!

Yusuke frowned, worry clear in his eyes. “But what if I don't win?” He asked.

“If you don't win, I'll already be in a heap of trouble,  Yusuke.” Koenma looked down, sweat already trickling down his temple. “Believe me when I say I know that there is absolutely no way I could ever beat Sakyo in hand-to-hand combat. Look at him, then look at me. I'm a ruler, not a fighter, I bruise easily. Why do you think I always have you fight my battles for me?  I helped you get stuck in this whole predicament, Yusuke. As leader of Reikai I can't just fly off on a Jet-Pack while Sakyo does whatever he wants to with that money.” He said looking up at Yusuke, that same serious look back on his face.

“Attention everyone!” Juri shouted into the mic, and we all looked at her. “The Tournament Committee will take ten minutes to consider this!” She said her arm raised like always, and I frowned once again.

Koto picked up at the silence almost instantly, a bright smile on her face. “And that means all parties have an additional ten minutes to place any final bets accordingly at anyone of our fine betting windows in the main condors of the stadium.” She said before both of the two girls flipped off their microphones.

All of us stood in silence as the youkai in the stands began to scurry around, trying to get to the betting windows that Koto had mentioned a few second before. However, I didn't pay them any mind, I was too focused on two people at the moment thank you. Those would be Yusuke and Koenma, and you all know the reasons why. The others were probably quiet for their own reasons, but I wasn't going to dwell on that for too long, considering I was practically having a panic attack thanks to Sakyo's fucking proposal! Oh I'm so going to give Koenma hell for this...

And that's exactly what I did. “You dumb ass! What the fuck was that?!” I shouted, making all eyes go to me as I glared at Koenma heatedly, but it was more out of worry than anger.

“You know what that was, Kira.” Koenma answered, not looking at me.

“That isn't the point!” I clenched my fists tightly. “Don't just bet your life away, you're putting too much pressure on Yusuke!” I said in Yusuke's defense.

Kuwabara nodded. “I know it's not my place or anything, but Kira has a point.” He said.

“Do you two honestly think I had a choice?” Koenma asked, finally looking at us, a narrowed look in his eyes. “You heard my reason for why I agreed, so I don't have to answer again.”

I glared even harder at him. “That's a bunch of bullshi-!”

“Kira.” My words stopped when I heard Yusuke's voice, and felt his hand on my shoulder, making me turn to him. “Don't worry, okay? I'm not gonna lose to Toguro, so  just relax .” He said, giving me that trademark cocky smirk of his, as if that would make me feel any better. ...It kind of did.

“Fine, I'll try to relax.” I said with a sigh, my eyes relaxing from their glare.

Yusuke grinned. “Good girl,” I ignored that, despite how my right eye was twitching, “now go sit down, OK?” He asked, glancing down at my side once again, and I felt eyes on my form as well. Dammit, Yusuke!

“What? I'm fine!” I said, giving him a narrowed look. I hated being worried over!

“Even if Kurama wrapped your wound that doesn't mean you're fine.” Yusuke said, giving me a mock look of authority, although I knew he was actually concerned. Ugh!

“I agree with Yusuke,” Kurama spoke up. “It is a very severe wound.”

I let out an exasperated sigh, puffing out my cheeks as annoyance ran through me. “I've slept for over three hours, I think I've rested enough to watch a goddamn fight, now all of you ssh!” I said, an irk mark beginning to form on my temple. I'm touched that they care so much, I really do, but come on!

“Onna, just sit.” Hiei spoke up, his eyes narrowed slightly but wouldn't look at me.

That made me raise an eyebrow. “Oh, what? You're worried about me, too?” I asked, my tone sarcastic, but I would be lying if I said that I wasn't hopeful.

Those hopes, however, were dashed when Hiei let out a scoff, rolling his eyes at the very idea. “No, hearing this idiotic discussion is annoying me.” He said, turning his narrowed gaze further away from me, while I rolled my eyes with him.

“Geez Hiei, that's not nice.” Kuwabara mumbled, shooting him a narrowed glare.

Hiei said nothing, closing his eyes.

Not taking Hiei's comment to heart I let out a huff and sat down, my arms crossed over my chest. An anime mad face was on, making the boys sweat drop as they looked down at me. A pout was on my lips, but that was to hide the smile that wanted to show on my lips. I guess just letting them worry about me for once couldn't hurt, right? It would make them feel better, so what the hell? I could feel like a girl for a few minutes, considering they usually treat me like a boy -as odd as that sounds...-.

“Happy now?” I asked, giving them a 'look' of annoyance.

Kurama couldn't help but chuckle at my display. “Yes, now stay.” He ordered jokingly.

I got a blank look on my face, staring at everyone as they -minus Hiei; who smirked- chuckled at me. “How come everyone is treating me like a dog right now?” I asked, my right eye beginning to twitch, I am NOT a dog!

“Hey, you're the one who sat down.” Yusuke said, holding up his hands.

I glare, opening my mouth. “I...!” Despite how hard I had tried to make up some kind of argument, I couldn't and that made me close my mouth quickly and glance away.

“Urameshi got you Kira!” Kuwabara shouted, laughing.

Everyone -minus Hiei again, but I swear I heard something that could have been a snicker come from him- began to laugh with him, while a blush of embarrassment filled my cheeks. “Shut up! You all are terrible people, making fun of the hurt person!” I shouted, with anime tears flooding my eyes, but that only made them chuckle or laugh even more in Yusuke and Kuwabara's case. But I let them off for this one time, considering in a minute or so they were going to announce the Committee's decision. I want to let them have a good time before that, they all deserve it.

A sudden hush soon fell over the stadium. “Toguro's odds of winning hold steady at 5-1 while the heavily favored Team Urameshi are on the rise at 3-2.” Koto announced, breaking the thick silence as she stared at the ring expectantly. Uh oh...

I looked up from my place on the ground, my heart already beginning to beat loudly in my chest. The clock was almost done counting down from ten minutes. The boys followed my eyes, seeing the same thing and the smirks and smiles that had been on their faces instantly dropped as we all thought of the same thing. The final match. We knew that the fucking Tournament Committee would let them do what they wanted, Sakyo had enough money to buy all of them out and all that other shit, it didn't take a fucking genius to figure that out. And my frown only deepened when all of us heard the loud buzzer go off all around the stadium. The ten minutes up.

Juri rose her hand, gaining our attention. “I have been informed that the Committee has no objections to Sakyo's proposal, so this next fight between Toguro and Urameshi will be worth two points! And that means it will determine the winner at this years Dark Tournament!” She shouted, the crowd instantly erupting in cheers.

“At this time the windows will no longer be accepting anymore wagers for the duration of the competition. All bets are officially closed.” Koto reminded quickly.

“Gentlemen please, take your places! Toguro vs Urameshi!” Juri looked between Yusuke and Toguro stepped onto the ring, keeping her left hand in the air as a serious look came to her eyes and she finally began to start the damn match. “Hey, are you guys ready for the climatic battle to begin? On your marks! Get set-!”

A sudden familiar laugh rang through the air cutting Juri off quickly, and my eyes widened in horror, my body freezing instantly. The boys stiffened as well at the laugh, and we all glanced around, our eyes narrowing into dangerous glares. It couldn't be him, Kuwabara fucking flattened the shit out of him! NO-one could have survived something like that, his heart and his fucking brain were both squished! I swear to fucking god if the bastard is immortal I'm going to kill the Tournament Committee for allowing that insane bastard to be like this!

“No fucking way...” I hissed lowly, raising from my sitting position.

“It can't be!” Kurama gasped softly.

Beads of sweat began to appear on Koto's temple as she looked around with the rest of the stadium. “Do you all hear that or is it just me?” She asked over the loud, annoyingly scary laugh, her voice filled with slight fear. I didn't blame her...

The laughter continued, and everyone else became deathly silent, some of us not daring to move a muscle. However, when we heard the tiles on the ring suddenly begin to shake, our heads snapped down to the floor. Our eyes landed on the cracked spot where Elder Toguro had been just moments before, them shaking violently. But if suddenly split apart, and a black figure like shadow sprang from the crowd and into the air, Elder Toguro's form landing on the ring a second later. His clothes were covered in holes and one of his eyes were considerably larger than the other, red veins easily seen on the whites of his eyes, and his left arm was completely gone, the muscles twitching around in the air. Despite my disgust, I clenched my teeth, my eyes narrowing into a cold glare. Damn him!

“I'm willing to bet you weren't expecting to see me!” Elder Toguro looked up from the ground, a sick and insane smirk on  his lips. “At least not in this lifetime!”  He shouted with a tone that could be called happy. If you were deranged, that is.

“I killed you! I know I killed you! Why won't you die?!” Kuwabara shouted, taking a step forward, his eyes wide.

Elder Toguro didn't even spare him a glance. “Perception of death is different from reality, the simplest mind will always believe anything it wants to!” He said, his voice slightly coated in pain as he panted slightly, still holding the spot where his arm once was.

“The Elder Toguro's back, since Kuwabara splattered him, I've narrowed down the possibilities to him either being a ghost or a zombie-man!” Koto added unnecessarily.

“Before my wounds were fatal I liquified and seeped between the tiles!” Elder Toguro began, his smirk widening. “And then I waited to hear that the betting was closed just so I could emerge triumphantly! We're going to be rich!” He shouted, a dark  look appearing over his face, making me shutter involuntarily.

“Cheater.” Yusuke growled lowly, his fists clenching tightly.

Elder Toguro just brushed that off, not even caring, not like we expected him too anyway. “You and your pals should know by now that you can't defeat my brother and me unless we want you to! Fortunately my brother wanted to beat Genkai! Of course you know how that turned out! It's a shame you couldn't have cradled her body in your arms when she was younger. She was a real wild cat back in those days, and not just in the heat of battle if you know what I mean. The things she did with my brother- mmm I wouldn't have minded having a pass at her myself! Back then anyway. You might get a shot yourself once we reunite you with your whore mentor.” He said mockingly,  ignoring the glares that were being directed at him.

I took a step forward, my Spirit Energy beginning to rise. “You sick bastard! How dare you?!” I shouted angrily, trying to gather it in my palm, but someone grabbed me back, instantly making me stop.

“Calm down, Onna.” Hiei said behind me, his tone even despite the glare in his eyes.

I turned to him, my anger too high for me to even blush at the moment, despite his hand on mine. However, at the sound of his voice -once again-, my body relaxed itself against my will. Damn him, how does he do that? Deciding to ignore that question for the moment, I sucked in a deep breath before I gave him a nod, and he let go as quickly as he could. I almost wondered for a second if he even held my hand to begin with, but the tingling sensation that my hand had told me that he did.

“Let's go!” Kuwabara growled, bringing me to reality and I turned to him.

Kurama did as well, his jade-hued eyes narrowing seriously at the red haired ningen. “It isn't your fight.” He reminded seriously, his tone firm.

By the way Kuwabara's body tensed up even more at that short sentence told me that he wouldn't be calmed as easily as I had been. “Oh the heck it ain't!” He shouted, his hands clenching tightly by his sides, about to leap into the ring.

“The call is not left to the interloper.” Kurama quipped.

“Huh?” Kuwabara asked, turning to him.

Kurama turned towards the ring, his face calm despite his eyes narrowing slightly. “Only those two can determine how this match will be fought.” He stated solemnly.

“Uh...?” Kuwabara began again, and I was tempted to hit him over the head.

“You'll see.” Kurama said, before I could even try.

Remembering that Yusuke was in the ring with the Toguro Brothers, I quickly turned back as well. “Kill the fucker, Yusuke!” I shouted, the anger still burning through me despite how I wasn't about to set off attacks that I probably couldn't even control. After what he said about Genkai, he deserved to be sent to Hell, or Limbo.

“What will it be brother?” Elder Toguro held out his right arm. “Any weapon you want, a dagger, a sword, a semi-automatic machine gun! As long as we work together this competition is in our grasp!” He said flexing his fingers, about to morph again.

Toguro suddenly appeared behind Elder Toguro, his face emotionless. “No.”

Despite the situation, the boys and I stared at the taller brother with somewhat wide eyes, and Elder Toguro was doing the same, but his was more prominent. “Brother! We can win!” He shouted, disbelieve coating his tone for once. Good.

“This does NOT involve you.” Toguro growled this time.

The next thing we all knew, we heard Elder Toguro let out a shout, his body suddenly being kicked high into the air. We all craned our necks, our eyes officially wide now as we watched Elder Toguro's body almost hit the top of the half destroyed stadium. However, a smirk began to form on my lips, even if I hated Toguro I couldn't help but  want to cheer him on, but I didn't. He did kill Genkai after all.  And the smirk on my lips grew as I saw the line of blood fall down Elder Toguro's lips, and the complete shock and anger that coated his features. Take that, you fucker!

Elder Toguro stopped, however, before he could hit the ceiling. “How could you?! I'm your older brother! You just kicked me you son of a bitch! Your own brother!” He shouted out angrily as he headed towards Toguro's form, his fingers outstretched and dangerously sharp, insanity filling his eyes once again.

“You're dead to me.” Toguro said coldly.

Toguro clenched his right fist at his side, and when the right moment came as Elder Toguro approached quickly,  he threw it with such for that even I had to flinch. The impact echoed loudly like a clap of thunder, even if half of the stadium walls were down. Elder Toguro's loud screams reached our ears as a bright blue light of Spirit Energy blinded our vision for a brief moment. And when it faded, we only saw small black wisps of what I believed to be clothing fall apart in the wind as they blew away. A stunned silence fell over the stadium, and ever so slowly everyone turned to the younger Toguro brother, his right fist covered in blood, but it wasn't his own. Good.

“I'm sorry, but blood can only run so thick.” Toguro pulled down his bloodied fist, turning to Yusuke. “This will be a fair fight with you, down to the letter. This time we'll fight for real.” He said seriously, and I could tell that he meant it. Somehow.

“You bet.” Yusuke said, a smirk once again on his lips.

Despite the final match about to begin, I couldn't help but let out a small smile. Even if I hated Toguro, it was nice to know that he wasn't a cheater like his -late- older brother. However, I turned back to Yusuke, my eyes falling on his back. Toguro was still immensely strong from what I felt two months ago, and somewhat during our time here. Yusuke could be seriously injured and he could... I shook my head, not wanting to think of that now. I didn't care if the odds looked bad, I knew Yusuke was going to be safe and I knew he was going to come back to us. But I still couldn't help but frown as worry began to fill me, my stomach beginning to churn.

*Be careful Yusuke...* I thought softly, biting my lip.

Ending it here! I hope you liked it, and I'm SOOOO sorry that it took me so long to do! Please forgive me! T.T Anyway, until next time I hope you guys liked this! Bye!
