AN: I just thought of something funny, Hiei and Kurama both have flying pets, and Kuwabara and Yusuke both have cats for pets. I don't know why I find this funny. Leave me and my randomness a lone! <.<

Anyway the Language Cookie goes to *drum roll!*

Chapter: 5
=================================================
July went by slowly for the studying teens with most of their time spent in books studying everything about magic Kurama could find for them. After skimming threw the History of Magic and basically making sure they knew the basics Kurama had moved them on to their schoolbooks.

By the end of the month Kurama finally declared them halfway ready for school. They could do most basic spells and a few advanced that most sixth years were expected to be able to do. Hiei who had been reading threw his own book Wand Dueling Strategies had picked up on a few more spells used for fighting, and Yusuke, unfortunately for the others, had also picked up a few tips from his book, Your Guide to Ultimate Pranking.

Kurama had given them the afternoons off so they might explore. Yusuke frequently visited the Quidditch shop and Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes were he bought what he needed for the pranks. Hiei spent his free time disappearing to train both his sword skills and wand skills, and Kuwabara stuck either with Yusuke or Kurama. While Kurama took this time to scan the Daily Prophet, read one of his books, or explore the darker parts of Diagon Ally, which he did whenever Kuwabara was with Yusuke.

Finally it was the last day; today they were going to Hogwarts. It was early in the morning and snores were still heard coming from Yusuke and Kuwabara's room. Kurama was sitting in his favorite winter green recliner chair reading threw a book he had borrowed from the library, and Hiei was sitting on the bed rubbing oil on the dry patches of his dragon's skin as it coed it's approval. It's gently swirling blue-green eyes half-closed in content.

“Morning,” Kaitou said in Kurama's voice as he landed on the chair next to Kurama's head.

“Food?” this was asked in Yusuke's voice. It hadn't taken Kurama long to figure out that his raven's talent was to repeat what it heard. It was slowly gaining enough words now to argue with Hiei when Hiei threatened to roast it, and to yell at Yusuke's cat for actually trying to eat it. It had even given them all nicknames, Kurama's was `Mine', Kuwabara's was `Baka' said in Hiei's voice, Hiei's was `Shorty' said in Kuwabara's voice, and Yusuke's was `Shiny' because he slicked his hair back and the bird had a thing for shiny things.

“You can hunt if you are starving or wait for breakfast,” Kurama told his bird not even taking his eyes off the book in front of him. The raven just fluffed up his feathers indignantly and scowled at Kurama's turned head.

“He can go hunting with Tsuki, I'm pretty sure Tsuki will live him some scraps.”

“Or he could just wait for breakfast,” Kurama added turning one eye to look the bird square in the eye. It was almost as bad as Yusuke about getting into trouble, and constantly got Kurama in trouble with store owners and the kitchen cook for stealing things. Kaitou just fluffed his feathers up one more time before flying to his cage, for now content to wait.

“Should we go wake up the idiots?” Hiei asked as he opened the window for his dragon.

“I will in a minute, I like the peace and quite for now,” Kurama replied as he snuggled deeper into his chair.

Kurama and Hiei had smartly packed most of their things last night so they had the morning to relax. Kurama had even arranged for taxies to come pick them up. So the only things left to do was get Yusuke and Kuwabara's stuff together, which would probably take all morning seeing that they hadn't taken Kurama's advice to pack the night before.

Hiei walked over to the door that separated the two bedrooms and opened the door to be bombarded by snoring.

“I'm getting them up, and you can read your precious book on the train.” Kurama glared at Hiei's turned back as he walked into the room. Growling was soon followed by cursing and then the sound of a body hitting the floor, yelling followed this and finally Hiei walked back threw closing the door behind him slightly buffing them from all the noise in the room next to them.

Kurama sighed, looking at his book longingly, and put it down on the table next to the chair and asked, “Did you tell them to get ready?”

“Hn,” was the only response he got back as Hiei walked over to his own things to make sure he was ready to go as well. Kurama decided to do the same before he headed over to the other room to help the other two.

After making sure all of his stuff was ready to go he headed over to the other room. He entered into quite a scene. Each bed was pilled high with clothes just thrown on them and the floor was covered in all kinds of items. Yusuke's cat, Akuma, was ripping up one of Kuwabara's socks as he tried to get it back, and Yusuke was dumping armloads of clothes into his trunk.

Kurama felt like banging his head on the wall, but instead he just ran his hand down his face and pulled out his wand. Soon clothes were flying threw the air folding themselves as they went and then packing themselves neatly into the correct trunks. Kuwabara and Akuma watched as the sock was jerked out of their grips and folded with it's twin and packed into Kuwabara's trunk, and Yusuke just dropped his arm load and stared open mouth at Kurama who looked like he was conducting an orchestra with his wand.

Akuma jumped trying to catch a shirt of Kuwabara's, and instead found herself floating into her cat-carrier. Then the same thing happened to Eikichi who had sleeping on Kuwabara's bed and she almost ripped the sheet trying to hold on.

Soon everything was packed and Kurama put his wand away only slightly worn out. Not from using so much energy, but from the amount of concentration and control he'd had to use on his energy. Wizardry was a complex use of words, energy, and intent that all had to be woven together correctly to get the right results. Kurama who controlled plants was better prepared for the use of magic than the others because he had to use a certain amount of control over his energy to control the plants. Therefor it was natural for him to advance faster than the other three were, plus he was practically a genius and one of the only one that really wanted to learn.

“Show off,” Yusuke grinned as he went over to let Akuma out, who was passing back and forth growling.

“So when do we leave?” Kuwabara asked.

“Nine o'clock sharp, so be ready,” Kurama replied heading back into his room.

Ten o'clock found the gang standing in front of the train station. The station was already busy with people coming and going some with a lot of luggage, some with none, a few beggars, and even a man playing a saxophone for money. The gang pushed their way threw the crowd till they came to platforms nine and ten, but there was no platform nine and three quarters or at least one they could see.

“Are you sure the paper says nine and three quarters?” Kuwabara asked Kurama.

“Yes, maybe we are just looking in the wrong place,” Kurama walked up to a near by guy who was wearing a blue uniform.

“Do you know where platform nine and three quarters in located?”

“What is this some kind of joke? There's no such thing now run along miss,” the guy laughed. Kurama turned back to the others, the muscle under his eye twitching.

“What now?” Yusuke grumbled leaning against a pillar and fell threw. He popped back threw a minute latter, “I think I found our train.”

AN: I know extremely short and so many weeks in between my last update! I think I mentioned somewhere that after chapters 1-4 were out chapters would slow down; I just didn't think this much. I'm so sorry to all my readers! Seeing that this chapter was so short I will try to get the other one out as soon as I can and make it longer. Hopefully. Reviews always help the writing spirit and I thank everyone who takes time out of their life to give me helpful criticism, but please no flames, I'll just ignore them and stick my tongue out at you. Sayonara all!

P.S. I went through and changed the spacing to make it more readable and look better, so sorry for all of the updates.
