Chapter 2

When they got to camp, Rei was immediately brought to Yoko’s tent. At first she had hesitated. As a girl in disguise, there was a need for her to be aware of her surroundings, especially near a kitsune who is not only renowned for his great thieving raids but also for being known as what people call a sex god…

‘ Heavens knows how many whores he must have fucked to get that title… ‘ thought Rei as she entered Yoko’s tent

When she entered Yoko’s tent she could see Yoko tending to a few plants, in fact his tent was more like a green house filled with beautiful and exotic rare plants. Rei tried not to look impressed but she could not help it, she marveled at how Yoko was able to keep all the plants in such a good condition. Suddenly the plants dragged out a chair and placed it in the center of the tent.

“ Sit, “ said Yoko as he took out another chair and sat a few feet away from Rei

Rei shook her head “ No thanks, I’ll stand… “

Giving her a strange look, Yoko said “ Being an oracle and all, I guess you should have already known what am I about to say right? “

Rei just shrugged “ Perhaps, perhaps not… “

“ Well any way, just to give you a short one, if you have any inquiries, feel free to ask Kuronue or me and one more thing… try not to wander about, the thieves I train here are somehow itching for fights and I tend to keep to a policy of no fighting unless totally necessary, got it? “

“ Don’t be such a puss Yoko, “ came a familiar voice outside before Rei could answer

“ Don’t you know it’s rude to eaves drop? “ retorted the kitsune

“ I just wanted to say that Ruyu’s tent was ready… “ replied Kuronue as he strode into the tent

“ Well then, I shall take my leave… “ said Rei bowing “ The next conversation you two are going to have is not meant for my ears anyway… and one more thing if you are planning to have another raid, I would suggest you try the rare gems, 5 miles south, in a mansion, there is a moderate number of guards and try not to go in from the back… “

Both demons threw a glance at Rei with amusement in their eyes. They knew that they were going to have a very interesting time together with this strange oracle demon…

Later that night, Rei was having trouble sleeping. There were loud moans and groans coming from Yoko’s tent and she had remember seeing Yoko bring a rather sexy looking neko demon into the tent. It was obvious what he was doing.

“ Doesn’t that bastard ever take a break… Baka Kitsune! ‘ thought Rei as she tossed and turned on the makeshift bed.

She was given a tent next to Yoko because there were no other tents available. She had also heard from other demons who had slept in that tent before wishing her good luck. At first she could not be bothered but now she knew why… Even though she was neither a wolf nor a neko demon, she had wolf’s ears that were just as sensitive at detecting noise. Unable to take the noise anymore, Rei got dressed and went to find a tree far, far away from the horrible noise.

(A/N: I believe I’ve told you ppl that Rei is a genetic creation, genetic is in a sense that she has several types of demon blood I her veins… Examples are wolf, neko and fox just to name a few…)

After walking for 5 minutes, Rei came across a rather huge tree and decided to bunk in it. However, before she could fall into a peaceful slumber, she could sensed a demon’s youki and her instincts kicked in. She whipped out a fireball and was about to burn the pitiful demon when she realized it was actually Yomi and managed to stop just in time.

“ What do you want? “ snarled the furious oracle

“ I thought you were suppose to be sleeping in a tent next to Yoko’s… “ replied the demon

“ Well, that stupid kitsune won’t stop fucking a whore so I can’t sleep with all the damn noise both of them are making… “ snapped Rei

“ I see what you mean… I sympathize you for that… “ said Yomi smirking

“ Well don’t, cuz this is not gonna help me any way, now if you mind, I want to sleep, so leave before I fry you to a extra crispy demon… “ growled Rei. She was now officially pissed off

Usually, Yomi would find threats like this one insulting but for tonight, he decided to leave it be. There was something about the oracle which made him feel weird.

‘ He can be a very interesting sparring partner for me to have… ‘ thought Yomi as he decided to head for Kuronue’s tent to inform him of Yoko’s next raid tonight

‘ Finally peace and quiet, a shame Yoko has to do that to Yomi… He has a lot of potential… ‘ thought Rei as she closed her eyes drifting into a sleep. This time she had taken a precaution to make sure she won’t be disturb by reading the future and making sure nobody would visit the tree until she was awake.
