He is so nervous. Once again fixing his tux, he looks around the room. His three best friends are there. The longhaired redhead was fixing his hair again, ever the closet narcissist, while the other two were throwing insults at each other as usual. Hearing this made him ease up a little.

Everything seemed normal, but in a few minutes, his life would once again change forever. He glanced back at his reflection, only to have his friend Kurama place a hand on his shoulder. He smiled at the raven-haired boy and squeezed his shoulder gently. If he could fight demons surely he could get married, Yusuke thought. He fixed his tie one last time before signaling it was time to go.

Soon, all four are at the front of the church. He had always known in his heart that, someday, this day would come. He has always loved her. Keiko was his life. He would gladly die for her, and almost did once. Through all the trials in his life, she had been there. Even in death, she stood by him. He had still been surprised when Keiko had said yes though.

The music started, startling him out of his thoughts. Kurama, assisted by, surprisingly, Hiei, had chosen the music. Canon, in D minor, echoed from the organ until just a second ago. Now the classic bridal march played.

Botan walks into the church, spreading flower petals down the aisle. She was followed by Shizuru, who was, in turn, followed by Yukina. After Yukina's passage, Yusuke's heart began to beat so fast. Before he knew it, Keiko was standing next to him. His eyes had followed her down the aisle.

As the priest read through the preliminary words, Yusuke thought of every instance they had fought, cried or just hung out. He loved her so much…

He looked at her. Her smile was like sunshine. She was the one constant in his life. He knew that this new road they were taking would be hard, but it was worth it.

She was worth it.

Soon, the vows were exchanged. His palms had gotten so sweaty, he almost dropped the ring after Kuwabara had handed it to him.

They kiss, and are presented to everyone as husband and wife. Linking her arm in his, they walk out of the Church onto the steps, where the guests throw rice on them. He still couldn't believe that she was finally his. He helps her into the carriage he has rented and they ride off to the reception.

They soon arrive at the reception, and he listens, touched, to his friends and family's words of well-wishing and remembrance. Even Hiei steps up to the mike for a surprisingly emotional speech.

Yusuke dances with Keiko after they had cut the cake. He chuckles as he remembers how they had smeared the cake on each other's faces. They had also had a nice meal, prepared by Yukina and the rest of the girls. Kuwabara is dancing with Yukina.

Botan and Shizuru are trying to talk Kurama and the stubborn Hiei to dance with them. Kurama and Shizuru join the dancing floor. Hiei stares at the fox, ignoring Botan. Yusuke grins at this. Something's never change, he thinks and pulls his bride closer.

Eventually, they managed to get Hiei on the dance floor. Yukina asks him to dance with her while Kuwabara dances with Botan. Hiei shocks them all by accepting and actually knowing how to dance the foxtrot. (O.O; )

After a few hours of dancing, friendly name-calling, and goodbyes they arrive at the hotel Botan had booked for their honeymoon. Keiko is so pretty right now. She seems to glow. I know I am wearing a goofy grin. But it is my wedding night. We enter our room, looking deep into each other's eyes. I kiss her lovingly and we soon get lost in our passion.
