The Pregnant Disease Chapter 6: Bloody/Moody Reunion

Landing in the open window, a wounded Hiei slowly started to walk towards the lump he saw on Kurama's bed. Reaching out carefully, he pulled the cover off a bit, and saw the head of…Yusuke?

/Don't tell me…he's…with Yusuke? Well…I guess it is better…that he love a kind…human like him, and not a cold-hearted demon…like me, / he then thought soon seeing the peaceful face of Kurama. He slowly started to walk backwards, but still looked at the two boys on the bed.

"Aaah! What the hell! Hiei, what are you doing here all bloody," Kuwabara yelled, walking in to check up on his other two friends. This immediately awoke Yusuke and Kurama who had been sharing the bed.

"Hiei…"the green-eyed boy said in shock. The both of them stared at one another for what seemed like eternity, but soon the fire demon was dragged off into the bathroom to be bandaged up.

"Hey, Kuwabara, make sure Kurama stays in his room and doesn't hurt himself. I'll take care of Hiei," the black-haired boy quickly explained upon entering the bathroom. Nodding, the other boy immediately ran back, and this left the other two alone.

"You have a lot of nerve Hiei…you're lucky I'm not kicking your ass right now, `cause you're injured," Yusuke stated first, starting to apply some anesthetic to the wounds.

"Are you…and Kurama…together," Hiei managed to ask weakly.

"What? No, we're not together," the other boy, answered a bit shocked by the question. Yet when he thought about it, the question made a lot of sense to ask.

"Why…were you…in his bed then," the fire demon started to say feeling some of his strength coming back. Yusuke stayed quiet for a few moments longer, and then stated, "He's been having nightmares of you fighting and being killed. I share his bed with him in order to help get rid of them."

"He's had nightmares? How bad has it affected his health, and the baby's," Hiei now asked in concern. Tonight he planned to return, for good, and he didn't want anything to go wrong.

"Why do you care? Weren't you the one that told Kurama that you had no feelings for him," Yusuke said glaring.

"I've had six bounty hunters, who have some grudge against me, try and kill me. I managed to kill them all," Hiei stated, feeling better, and standing up on his own.

"Oh…so…that's why you said what you said huh? It was your way of telling Kurama, `Sorry, I cannot be with you since I have bounty hunters after me. When I kill them, I will return?' Well, I hate to break it to you, but the way you said it hurt him real bad! So much so, that he doesn't eat sometimes!"

"What do you mean he doesn't eat? He needs to eat for both himself and the baby," Hiei said trying to walk out of the bathroom.

"Woah, hold it there small fry! He does eat I was just testing you to see if you really care. Now, if you want to apologize, then let me prepare him first," Yusuke quickly explained, and then both of them left the bathroom.

"You stay here, and let Kuwabara explain the basics for ya," was the other thing he was told, before the door was shut in his face. On cue, the idiot of the house was now in front of him, and babbling about mood swings, weird cravings, and morning sickness.

"I fail to see what you're babbling on about, do you mind speaking English instead of idioticism," Hiei then asked sarcastically. He chuckled in his head towards the reaction he got out of that.

"Idioticism isn't even a word! I'm telling you some very important stuff here! Kurama has mood swings, like a girl, morning sickness, meaning he throws up in the morning, and weird food cravings like wanting to eat watermelon in the middle of the night! Is any of this getting through your shrimp head?"

"…I'll get you back for that one later." With that being said, Hiei was at last allowed to enter Kurama's room, and was soon left alone with him.

"Hiei…" the green-eyed boy said with a look of longing in those green orbs. The shorter of the two then walked towards the bed, and stared back with almost the same look. The room was completely silent…until Kurama hit Hiei on the head.

"OW! What did you do that for," he then asked/yelled checking his head for a bump. The other boy quickly answered, "That was for making me worry so damn much!"

"And this [hits him on the head again] is for hurting me with what you said! And this [hits his head again] is for the sake of just hitting you again!" The hitting of Hiei's head went on for about one more minute, before the fire demon grabbed the other's arms, and held them tight.

"Look, I'm sorry for what I said, but I couldn't risk you or our baby's lives by staying around! I had to eliminate a few bounty hunters! But now they're dead, and I can stay with you to help raise the baby! Kurama I…I love you."

"…You…love me? Really," Kurama asked, tears developing in his eyes. Hiei nodded, and was soon enveloped in a tightening embrace. He then heard babbles of apologies, and sobs coming from his love.

/The idiot was right about the mood swings, / was his last thought, before he found that Kurama had fallen asleep in his arms.

Okay, what do you guys think? I've already got an idea as to how the next chapters should go, but anyway…I'll be typing up some more now.
