First things first… it was not actually Kurama chasing you, it was a golden Kitsune… someone totally different. And yes, you drank the Kitsunes blood…

Darkness… all you could see… it had been so for what seemed like forever… though how long you had really been there… you couldn't say…

They will come for you soon…

"Huh?" you looked around, squinting into the darkness.

When the moon is once more full… they will come for you…

"Who?"

They will…

"Who are they?" you growled out to the darkness

Foolish mortal… they are already coming for you… they feed off your fear… they are invisible to you… at least for now…

"WHO ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!?" you felt pissed… what did the voice mean? Who were they?

They are… them… no named creatures… they will come… they ARE coming… they have been released to find you… come for you… they will come for you soon…

The darkness started to close in all around you, the pressure intolerable… so hard to breath…

You will remember them… when they choose to allow you…

The darkness was to much… the pain to much… and it claimed your soul into it's harvest…

You slowly opened your eyes… you could hear the roll of water, the smell of the sea… you looked around, and saw you were lying on the sand… you picked up some in your fist, and slowly let it run out of your hand… you were still in your demon form, you could tell from your shadow… what did that voice mean? You pondered… why had Youko looked so familiar? You knew you had seen him before… but from when? And where…

"I see you're finally awake, Yuniku…" you frowned, Yuniku… she was the Slayer half of you… right? You turned to the source of the voice… to see none other than Youko…

"Youko?" you gasped, unable to move… rooted to the spot… how was linked in your past? But of course… you realised how he was familiar… the silver haired demon from the strange Auction dream….

"Youko? Is that your new pet name for me?" he pounced onto you, and started to kiss up and down your neck… than he stopped… "The mark… my mark… it's gone!" he gasped, seeing your neck was perfect, not a single scratch on it…

"Huh? Mark?" you whispered, your eyes glazing over… as you realised just what that meant… in your past… you had been Youko's….

"…The slime… he found a way to erase all your memories and my mark… of what we shared…" he kissed your forehead lovingly… "Don't worry… Yuni… I find a way to counter what he's done to you… and we can have kits!" he laughed, and nuzzled you lovingly… it seemed so right, and you went along with it, allowing him…

"Youko…" you smiled, and lightly kissed his ears, he purred,

"I'm not Youko… I'm Jinoko…" he whispered softly, and you nodded, suddenly, Youko's ears twitched, and he got off of you, "They've found us…" he murmured…

"Who?" you asked him,

"They have… I'll distract them! You run!" he pulled you up, and kissed you deeply… "If I don't make it… promise me you'll find the girl I couldn't save, promise me you'll find her!" you nodded, and kissed him back,

"I promise Jinoko…" you whispered, he smiled,

"Now go!" he turned to face inland, and you heard their roars… their cry pierced your heart and mind, and made you fill with dread… you flew up into the sky, and flew as fast as you could away… faster and faster…. And than, you heard it… the one thing that made you feel like dive bombing into the ground… Youko's blood curdling screams of agony… and you could hear his last rattling words…

"Yuniku…" than everything was swallowed by the darkness… and she appeared…

"That… was the worst moment of my life…" a black tear dripped down her cheek… and it merged into the shadows…

"They took him from me… the one perfection on Makai… they took him…but now… I have seen him again… and I am content… don't let him fool you… he is one who cares about his mate's feelings…" she giggled, and smiled, "Youko… as you call him… brings back so many joyous moments… thank you…" she slowly faded out… and you realised why she showed it to you… does she want to love him again?

Time is up…

Suddenly, the darkness reached up and grabbed you, trying to pull you down, but this time… it wasn't so you became darkness… but devoured by it… you saw the shapes of creatures so vile… description cannot be written of the sights you saw… you panicked, and tried to fly away… but it was no use… the darkness was stronger…

Yes… give into the darkness… let it consume you…

You struggled to break free… to no avail… there was nothing you could do…

Just give in… give into them…

Suddenly, you saw Youko, his amber eyes burning with pure rage seeing you about to be devoured… he ran and jumped, pulling you out of the grasp of the darkness… and holding you close…

"____..." he whispered, you wrapped your arms around him, and he allowed your legs to touch the ground…

"Youko…" as your lips were about to touch, he vanished into nothingness…

So… that is why you grip tightly to the light… Youko… the test is complete… you will be enslaved when they come for you…

You opened your eyes… and saw emeralds… his eyes… he was touching his lips to your forehead… you blushed, and as he noticed you were awake, he jumped back, and blushed redder than any tomato you had EVER seen!

"____... you're awake…" he gasped, you looked slyly at him…

"Kurama… why were you kissing me on the forehead…?" he blushed even more (AN: that's hard to see… Kurama? Blushing? THAT red? That's redder than his hair!!!!!!!!!) and mumbled something incoherent, "Huh?"

"I… just… I…"

"Was there a reason? Or are you just going to keep stuttering, Foxy?" you laughed, and he looked deep into your eyes with what you called him…

"Foxy?" his look became very sly…

"Um…" you started to blush madly, why DID you call him Foxy?

"I see we have a tie, I don't tell you why I kissed your forehead, and you don't tell me why you called me Foxy, deal?" you sighed, and nodded.

"Deal…" Kurama smiled, and scooted closer to you.

"So… do you want to join me in a trip to the hot spring?" you nodded,

"I'd love to!" As soon as those words left your lips, you regretted them… What if he went Youko on you?

"Good… I'll just get changed, ok? I'll wait for you…" he smiled, and walked out, and you realised you were in your room… you went over to your walk-in wardrobe, and changed into blue swimmers, and got your big, blue Roxy towel.

"Thank GOD for one piece swimmers, I am SO glad they have just the right back for my wings!" you smiled. Bikini's were a no go going with Kurama… to easy to make a pervy Youko even worse!

You opened the door to find Kurama, he was in green board shorts, his torso bare for your eyes to see… every highly toned muscle… he had a six pack… you realised… he was VERY fit… you blushed, realising you were staring, and looked away, noticing Kurama do the same…

"We should get going…" he smiled to you,

"Are we going by foot, or by air?" you smiled back to him, your red eyes glistening…

"…I don't mind…" he answered you,

"Air it is…" you ran down the corridor, and heard Kurama behind you

"HEY!! WAIT!!!" he yelled, you laughed, and ran out the temple, and waited for Kurama. When he didn't come, you raised a brow,

"I didn't run THAT fast…" you whispered, and looked inside, suddenly, you felt arms around your waist, and heard laughing.

"You thought you lost me?" you looked to see Kurama… and how his arms were around you, he realised this too, and let go, you both were blushing like mad…

"Yes! Now come on! We should get going!" you wrapped your arms around his waist, and flew up, slowly rising in altitude… the wind across your face was glorious… Kurama sighed, why, you didn't know, you spotted the hot spring below, and dived down… slowly spiralling down to the ground, you opened your wings at the last minute and landed gracefully. You put your towel, which had been hanging on your arm for some time now, on a rock, and Kurama placed his emerald one next to yours, you both slowly waded into the relaxing, calm, warm water… you sighed contently, and you went deeper… and lay on your back… letting the warmth rush over you… you suddenly saw a flicker of movement to your right… and another… panic ran through you… than, you felt something wrap around your leg, you looked down, and saw a black tendril wrapped around your ankle! You flapped your wings, trying to fly up, but it was no use… the darkness sent out tendrils that took hols of your wings, and pulled you down… down under the water… the water closed around your head you held your breath, and tried to swim up to the light that was filtering down from above, but the darkness held you under… you felt the world start to spin, and in one last desperate attempt, you reached for the light… and saw a hand take your own… and you saw no more…

You felt warm lips on your own, and opened your eyes, and started to cough up water, the lips left your own, and you were rolled into the safety position… and water flowed past your lips… it hurt… it hurt so bad, when no more water came, your felt warm arms wrap around you, and you realised, there was the sound of rushing water all around you… resounding off the walls… were you behind a water fall? You suddenly noticed who was holding you, it was Youko… his lips brushed over your neck, and up to your face…

"____..." he whispered, as his lips parted with your skin… he nuzzled into you,

"Youko?" you questioned, unsure of what was going on… why was he here? Shouldn't this be with Kurama?

"Yes… I'm here… and don't you DARE scare me like that again!" he growled, and you laughed.

"Oh, Youko, I really think I WANTED to be dragged under the water by the shadows?" he laughed with you,

"I suppose you are right… but I was so scared… I thought I had lost you!" he whispered, his amber eyes showed you the truth, his love and affection… there was worry over ever part of his face, but it slowly faded…

"Youko, scared?" you raised a brow, and he growled… and pushed you to the ground… he bare torso pressed against your covered one… it felt so good… his hands were pinning your arms down…

"You have a problem with that?" you shook your head, and he smiled, kissing over your lips, "Good… and this time, I'm marking you…"

"What if I don't want to be marked?" you growled, glaring at Youko,

"Well… tough… because what the Youko wants…" he kissed over your neck softly, and you felt his fangs probing over for a weak spot… "The Youko…" he found the spot he wanted… "Takes…" his fangs forced into your neck, and you gasped in pain, you felt Youko slowly stroke through your hair, trying to calm you down… you clutched at his shoulders, tightening your grip… it hurt… it HURT… like a thousand knives piercing your neck… twisting… he was making SURE you knew, he was dominant… he was the master… you were HIS mate… HIS territory… his… why was he forcing this pain on you? Why?

To make sure no one tries to take you from him…

It clicked… he really loved you… and wasn't meaning to really hurt you… he was marking you, so others would stay away… he was trying to protect you, because he was so deeply in love with you… you started to stroke through his hair at this realisation… He forced his fangs in deeper, the pain blossomed over… but you ignored it… knowing how much he really loved you made it all worth while… because with this mark… he knew he couldn't abandon you… Suddenly, you felt the fangs retract… and the person on top of you… was not the one from before… but Kurama, you saw the look of surprise on his face as he saw the mark he had inflicted upon you… he got up off of you. And stepped back, you slowly got up, and you felt so weak… he knelt down, and began to cry…

"Kurama?" you whispered, and slowly you shuffled to him, and heard him…

"I knew this would happen… now I can't know if you really love me…" your heart stopped, he… he wanted to know…? You felt the blood run down from your neck, knowing it was black… and warm… you put your hands on wither side of Kurama's face, and pulled his view so he looked right into your eyes, tears were running down his cheeks… and you smiled to him,

"I DO love you, Foxy…" you laughed, and kissed him deeply, at first he was surprised, and didn't do anything… but than, he returned the kiss… and stroked a hand through your long white hair… you moved your hands to around your waist, and pulled away from the kiss…

"You mean it?" he whispered softly in your ear…

"Yeah…" he smiled, and kissed over the mark, licking away the blood… and stroking through your hair… he transformed again into Youko… and he stroked over your body, wandering hands would be the right expression…

"Now… we can start a family! Just think of it… little Kits of our own… little Youkos and ____s…" he laughed, and forced you extremely close to his body, you wrapped your arms around him,

"Not until you have no need to protect me anymore… so than our children would be safe…" you smiled, and kissed him deeply, he licked his tongue over your lips, as if asking for entrance… and you allowed him, his tongue explored your mouth, and after a while pulled out, and licked his lips, as if he was savouring your taste.

"Why wait? Our children would be strong enough to handle anything… and they would have the Reikai Tentai (sp?) to protect them…" you could tell he wanted you… and bad… real bad…

"I don't know…"

"Come on… only one night… please?" his amber eyes pleaded for you to give in… but you weren't going to. Hell you're only 15 (AN: Yes… I know, you might be older or younger, but in this fic, you're 15, why? In the manga {My only source of inspiration} Kurama is 15 in human years) ! You're not ready for a family!

"Youko, I'm only 16… I don't want a family yet…" you whispered, he sighed,

"Ok… if that is what you wish… so be it…" he kissed you, and stroked your cheek… and he transformed back into Kurama. You stroked your fingers through his hair, and he kissed over the new mark… The blood had stopped, and it had indeed left a remarkable scar…

"So… now you're mine…" he whispered, his touch started to become like ecstasy… you wanted more… but you knew it wouldn't be right… sweat started to drip of his forehead and your own… trying to control your incurable lust, and desire… knowing what you shouldn't do but wanting it so bad… "…I hate being 15…" he sighed, and you nodded,

"Yeah… it bites…" you laughed, and kissed him, it sustained your desire, for now, but you knew it would grow as you were around him… and become harder and harder to control… and inevitably, you would exceed your own ability… and the one thing you wouldn't want… would happen… and probably start the family Youko craved.

"This is no good…" Kurama whispered… kissing you, his hands started to wander…

"I know… but what are we supposed to do?" you sighed, and he kissed you deeply… you gave Kurama entrance into your mouth, and his tongue explored your mouth… and you moaned… and you stroked through his hair, and he gave a contented sigh, and pulled out of the kiss…

"That… will probably quench our lust… for now…" but he was wrong… you only wanted him more, and you saw it was the same for him, as more sweat poured off him, over his chest… God he looked so hot there… you wanted him… the cravings were now rising to extremes…

"We'd better leave each other before it gets serious…" you whispered, he shook his head, and held you close…

"No… 'Absence makes the heart grow fonder' mean anything to you?" you started to feel terrified, this would mean… that your lust would over flow soon… too soon… how were you going to do this?

"How will we manage?" you whispered, and he sighed,

"We can't…" He started to pull down your swimsuit, and you stopped him,

"I just remembered… Koenma said no one can touch the gem, unless they have gloved hands… which might rule… it out…" you realised and tears came to your eyes…

"Don't cry… we'll find a way…" he pulled the strap back up, you buried your head in his chest, and he kissed your hair, lovingly… he was so wonderful… and before you had thought you two would never be together… but now… you were….

"We have to… or we'll die of want…" you whispered, and thoughts started to play over through your head, 'How did the shadow masters… or mistresses cope? There has to be a way around this! There just HAS to be!!!'
