Back In the Realm
I STILL don't Yu Yu Hakusho! Don't you people know that by now?!
"Finally, relaxation." Haru sighed in relief, jumping into the hammock she had made out of vines.
"No more Ningenkai, no more getting rid of vampires." Natsu said, reclining in a tree.
"No more getting bitten by damned vampires." Fuyu cursed somewhat, simply lying on the ground and staring at the sky.
"Just peace and quiet. And this spring territory of yours, Haru, isn't half-bad." Aki added. It was peaceful with the small hot spring in view and a mild breeze blowing.
It was silent for a moment until Fuyu spoke up. "Haru-chan,"
"Hm?" the sister of spring answered, half asleep.
"How are you doing?"
"What do you mean?" she asked, sitting up to look at Fuyu.
"We all know you miss the stupid red-haired boy. Even if we didn't know, it's written all over your face."
Haru loosened up and leaned back. "I'm fine. Look, I'm not depressed. I'll get over it. I promise."
Natsu sighed. "You're such a terrible liar."
"But I'm a comfortable, relaxed liar."
It had been a few hours since they had chosen a stop to rest in, and they were now mostly refreshed as the sun just hit the horizon in preparation to set.
"I'm going back to my territory." Fuyu said as she stood up. "It's a bit too warm here for me."
"Hai. I think I'll go back as well." Aki said.
"Right. See you later, Haru." Natsu added.
Haru simply waved good-bye before returning her gaze to the sky. Maybe she did miss Kurama. Did he miss her? It didn't matter. Even if he was a demon, she would still outlive him. Her spirit would remain there until the end of time. Closing her eyes, she drifted away into thought. Just before she fell asleep, she felt a hand touch gently on her cheek and warm lips against her own. She responded slightly at first and sat up with another hand on her shoulder. Her eyes stayed closed as the kiss was broken. She slowly opened them to see farmiliar, fiery red hair. Emerald eyes looked into her own.
"Kurama-kun....please, tell me I'm not dreaming." she said slowly.
"I promise that it's not." he responded.
She frowned deeply. "Demo, you can't stay, can you?"
"Koenma said that a portal back to the Ningenkai opens once every month when the moon is full. I plan to stay until that time."
"I wish I could follow you. It doesn't seem like enough time."
He touched his hand gently to her cheek. "Then we'll have to make the best of it. I'll come as much as I can."
Haru smiled. Things would work for what time they had. "I want to show you something."
Kurama held her hand as she slid from the vine hammock. They walked side by side the the spring where they had had their first true conversation, where Kurama had first seen her warmer side. Without even knowing it, she had walked him onto the surface of the water. A musical sound came from far away in the very center of the realm - Aki's violin to be exact. They held each other close and began to step in time with each other and the music. Light laughter was also heard from the same area, followed by and incredible show of fireworks.
"I think Natsu is having way to much fun with the fire." Haru said, laughing a bit.
"I think Hiei might be doing that."
"Or maybe they're having a competition."
Kurama backed away. "Let's go see."

Natsu and Hiei both threw another ball of ki into the air, making it explode over the realm.
"Natsu's was bigger that time." Yusuke confirmed.
Hiei, not to be outdone, threw a larger sphere into the air. Everyone blinked at the huge explosion.
"Shorty's was definatly bigger." Kuwabara said, slightly stunned.
Suddenly, another small blast of ki flew into the air, exploded, and covered everything in light fora few moments. Haru and Kurama walked into view.
"Their's was the biggest." Fuyu said. "But now everything smells like roses."
"Isn't that a good thing?" Aki asked.
"Who cares whose was bigger?" Yusuke asked, holding up a bottle. "Sake for everyone!"
Haru smiled at Kurama. "And everything finally comes to a close....with sake!"

That was a pretty crappy ending, but I wanted to get this done! I've been trying to work on other stories but I left this one unfinished! *Hits self over head* Anyway, check out my other stories. Jagan Schoolgirl is the most popular and Choose Your Own Adventure: Shiroi Hoshi WHITE STAR is catching up, but it only has 6 chapters so give it some time.
