Kurama was standing in his room, weeding though all his possible weapons and witchcraft items. He finally sighed and decided on five stakes on a belt, a vial of holy water, a vial of rain water, and a vial of vampire blood. I put the vial of rain water into his trench coat pocket. He put the rain water and vampire blood on the same chain as his Pentacle.
The vampire blood was Syra's. She gave it to him for emergencies or if he ever got extremely injured. He never used it and hoped he never would.
Meanwhile, Botan was sheathing one silver dagger in each boot and a short sword on her belt. She sighed and pulled out a bottle of holy water and chugged a lot down. “You are now a weapon of mass destruction, honey.” Koenma said, nuzzling his nose into her hair from behind as he strapped a single stake to his belt.
“I still haven't forgiven you…” She muttered, walking away from him to the other side of the room.
Yusuke and Keiko were in their room, arguing as usual. “You have to take some kind of weapon!” She hissed, grabbing hold of his thick hair. “Keiko! Let go!”
Yusuke wasn't bringing any weaponry. He believed he could beat a vampire with only brute force, which was probably true.
Hunter hung out in her room, jotting down stuff in her small, black and tattered diary like she always did before a mission, but this time, she wrote a small good bye note if she was to die in this mission.
All she carried on her belt was a silver dagger with a Pentacle engraved in it and a stake.
Hunter was considered a `half-vampire'. She had all the aspects of a vampire, just divided by half. She had blood lust, but not enough to kill someone, she could jump onto a two story building from the ground, run from Venice to Paris in half an hour flat, and glide from Japan to China.
Syra was standing alone in the foyer, leaning against the door with no weaponry whatsoever. She was a one man army by herself.
The look of determination on her face changed dramatically to impatience. “Hurry your slow asses up!” She yelled up, her voice bellowing through the whole house.
Kurama gracefully ran down the stairs. “Why is this so important?” He asked, his eyes following her sad gaze to the bracelet on her wrist. It glittered evilly in the flickering light of the fire place.
“Because I-“ She began, but lost her words as blood tears came to her eyes. “I don't want other people to suffer because of that son of a bitch.”
Kurama knew it was a personal reason, but how personal was the question. He now realized that the bracelet was from Hiei, but why would she keep it?
`She had said it was from an old friend,' he thought. Then more realization hit. `Her source is herself!'
“Hey Red, what's with the face?” Syra asked, all evidence of sadness gone.
Kurama's eyes snapped back to Syra's and he smiled sadly. “Nothing. I agree. No one else should suffer because of him.”
Without warning, he pulled Syra into a tight and loving embrace. Just as she registered what was happening, he had let go and was acting as though nothing had happened.
Syra glared slightly at him, but smiled inwardly at his sudden outburst.
“Alley-oop!” Hunter cried as she did a back-hand spring off the upstairs railing and landing soundlessly on the floor behind Kurama. “Hey love-birds! I'm ready to go!” She pulled out her diary and took it outside to hide it under the old tree.
“In case I die…” She explained brightly, smiling at their confused faces.
“Aren't you the least bit scared?” Keiko asked suspiciously, walking down the stairs into the large foyer.
“Why should I? I haven't seen any real action since I wiped out his coven in Paris…single handedly might I add…” Hunter replied, stretching.
The rest came down the stairs, bid Keiko farewell and walked out the door to whoop some vampire ass.

Botan and Koenma sped down the secluded highway in a black, Enzo Ferrari, pushing the speed at about 180 miles per hour. They were determined to get to Tokyo as soon as possible.
Kurama and Hunter were in the Porsche, closely followed by Yusuke, who was on a black motorcycle.
Syra ran alongside the Porsche, occasionally jumping onto the roof to take a break. She wasn't going to waste all her energy on running.
But as Tokyo came into view, Botan felt a strong presence of a vampire. An extremely powerful vampire. “Koenma! Vamp-“ Just then, a vampire landed hard on the hood of the car.
The engine caved in on itself as the vampire disappeared. Fire ripped through the engine and into the dashboard as the car flipped over and landed upside down. Koenma and Botan screamed out as flames shot up their bodies, but died instantly as the vehicle blew up on contact with the pavement.
“Holy shit!” Kurama cried, slamming his foot down on the brake, almost sending Hunter through the windshield. Beside them, Yusuke all but wiped out.
He jumped up and tears started immediately. “Botan! Koenma!” Yusuke screamed, just about to jump right into the flaming inferno that was once his best friends car. Kurama ran up to him and grabbed Yusuke's arms. “Don't be foolish Yusuke!”
Syra was standing several feet behind Kurama's car. She had seen the vampire coming, but by the time she realized what it was aiming for, it was too late. “They're dead…”
Yusuke broke away from Kurama and ran up to Syra, attempting to hit her. “How can you say that?” He bellowed, his fist flying at her face with great speed.
Syra grabbed his fist effortlessly. When Yusuke was upset, he was quite pitiful, except for when Kuwabara was killed. He killed the werewolf with his bare fists.
“I can't hear their hearts anymore. They're dead, Yusuke.”
A dark chuckle came from behind them. “Syra, long time no see…” A voice said, dripping with malicious sarcasm.
Hiei stood there, his eyes staring at them like two small pools of blood, his fanged mouth in a sadistic smirk.
“My beautiful fledgling…”
