_______________________Chapter 2;What the?!?!?____________________________

I wanted to cry but held back the tears and nodded slowly standing up I left the school grounds towards the hospital. I stood at the corners of maple and Cole to cross. not paying attention to the light or the walking signal I started to cross not seeing the huge semi heading my way.

I reached the middle of the street and that was when I heard a beeping noise, looking up I saw the huge simi. It was closing in fast, I had no time to move I just stared at it like a deer in the headlights of a car. The shine of the silver mesmerizing and hypnotizing. My last thought, 'Well mom I guess I get to see you again sooner than I thought.' Everything went black.

I was sitting the floor, everything was black except that a beam of light shone through the bottom of a door. I stood up walking to the door and attempted to open it. there was no door handle. Then a voice, " who is that Girl?"

A different voice answered, "I don't know what should we do?"

The voce from before, "I have an idea." a boy, who looked about seven popped out of nowhere. He had shoulder length silver hair and dark violet eyes. He asked, "um, Miss. who are you?"

I swallowed and said, "I'm __(Your name)__, and I'm supposed to be dead, I was hit by a huge, fast moving truck."

"oh, well what would you do if I could give you your life back?"

"I'd do anything really I would. Even if the day went horrible."

"Well there is a catch, you see you have to give me two things in return, one, you have to trust me. And two, This exchange makes it impossible for you to fall in love. No one has ever had the will and sometimes people even end up killing there selves. Are you still willing to do this?"

I had to think for a minute then answered, "Yes I will trust you and I am willing to do that."

"OK then take my hand and never look back." As soon as I took his hand everything went white. I slowly opened my eyes, and they were met with a lush, green forest. I was propped against a trunk of a tree.

I slowly stood up not fully trusting my legs, I leaned against the tree for support. Doing a recap on what had just happened, didn't answer the question of how T had gotten in a forest. Brushing a stray strand of __(hair color)__ hair out of my face, I pushed off the tree and began to slowly make my way through the thick green forest.

The sun started to set as I reached a hill with a huge oak tree on the top. I decided to rest under it for the night. I was jolted awake by a strange growling. Cautiously I opened my eyes and about seven feet away from me was a giant bat like creature. Taking the growling as a warning I stood up and ran back into the forest. Ducking low branches and dodging trees, I slid into some under brush to hide. The creature flue over me.

I sat there petrified and trying to calm my heart beat. I stood up, brushing off my bottom. I noticed a light was softly glowing up ahead. I decided to walk towards the light maybe I can find a way back to the city, or at least get directions.

When I reached the house I was parched. The horizon was slowly brightening providing little light because most of the sky was still a deep navy blue. After climbing the few steps to the front porch I finally collapsed. A lack of water and food twisted my stomach. A wave of relaxation hit me, sure I could go without food for fourteen days but without water I was dead in atlas three days.

I managed to pull myself up into a sitting position, finally after three attempts to stand my legs gave in and held my weight. I walked closer to the door and knocked, it took all my strength not to just lean forward. I finally noticed that the door was and older Japanese shrine, taking care to knock on the wooden frame. I knew all this because I had to do a report on the feudal era of Japan, I had only gotten a B+ though. I heard the slight brushing if socks on a wooden floor.

A short, old lady with faded pink hair answered the door, she took one look at me and asked, "Who the hell are you and what are you doing on my property at this time of night?"
"Umm..." I managed to crooked out but went into a coughing fit. After I stopped I said a scratchy voice, " I am __(your name)__ and I, got lost in your forest and I was wondering if maybe I could stay here awhile, Please?"

" OK then, I am Genki, you may rest here but only if you earn your stay, tomorrow you will do choirs and you might end up cooking. I will show you to your room."

Genki stepped back to allow me in. We walked down a long hallway until we reached the last door on the left. "This is where you can stay. I will send someone to wake you up later get some sleep."

I walked into the bare room and saw a bed quickly walking to it I collapsed and was in dreamland before I knew it.
