You woke up early the next day and stretched. Making your bed, you walked into the bathroom to wash your face and ears and to brush your hair, tail, and teeth. After, you walked out and put on a pair of shorts, exposing your long skinny legs and another spaghetti strap tee with a light jacket over it. You put your hair in a pony tail, a hat backwards, cutting holes for your ears, and plunged a lollipop in your mouth giving you that sporty, tomboy-girl look as you walked down the stairs. The girls were gone, and it was still pretty early so no one was up, but coming out the door you saw Hiei in the arena training with Kurama. You smiled and quietly walked around to the other side of the house mumbling, "Okay, Botan said it was right around here...." until finally coming to a track. You smiled a little and began running the track working on your speed.

/It’s shameful that I had such a hard time keeping up with Jaganshi, damnit...! Can’t let him be better than me...oh hell no, not him...What a disgrace it is.../ you thought as you circled the track over and over running as fast as you could.
/Hn. You are a disgrace, but breakfast is ready so come back already./ that same voice from before said in your mind.
You stopped hunched over knees panting. /Who the hell is that?/
/The boogieman. Now hurry up or the fools will eat everything.../ it said again. You sighed and turned back home, arriving covered in sweat and breathing heavily as you walked up the stairs.

"Ah, Amaya! Breakfast is ready," Kurama said.

"No thanks, [pant] I need a shower [pant]," you said to him with a small smile and walked to your room and into your bathroom. You turned on the shower to cold to clear your head. It sent a shivering sensation down your spine before you switched to warm. After washing and then rinsing, you got out and evaporated the water from you. Smiling, you walk back out and thinking it’s been a while, you wear shorts again with another spaghetti strap top with your jacket and head downstairs. Everyone was in the common room so you went in and started watching TV. Kuwabara came in seconds later and ended up sitting on your tail, making your entire body frizz out and twitch with an [Anime Vein] on your head. You snatched your tail from under him and whacked him across the head with a fan that supposedly appeared out of nowhere. And, seeing no more fun in it, you walked out to Koenma’s office until you came to the same two large doors. You walked inside finding that same toddler stamping papers and throwing them to the side in piles. You walked up to him and asked if there was any word on wolves and kitsunes but he sighed with a no. You shook your head, but then something occurred to you. "Hey Koenma, if you know now that I’m a girl too then why didn’t you freak out like everyone else?" you asked tilting your head. "Oh Amaya I already knew you were a girl, there’s no need for that." he said throwing aside another paper.

[Anime Sweat Drop]

"Then why didn’t you say anything?"
"Well... I thought it would be funny!" Koenma said chuckling.

[Anime Vein]

You punched Koenma on the head leaving an [Anime Bump] as a fake stream of tears formed in his eyes. "Well I thought it was funny...," he said, tears flowing. You rolled your eyes and began walking back out. Once home you found everyone scattered around the room, but there was no Kurama.

"Hey, where’s Kurama?" you asked stepping inside. "Oh, he went out about an hour ago to get some stuff for dinner, but he should be back by now, I’m starving!" Yusukue complained.

Kurama’s POV:
I continued walking home with the bags of food in hand thinking, /I better hurry or Yusukue and Kuwabara will die of starvation./ chuckling slightly, but I quickened my pace. Suddenly, a rattling in the bushes ahead made me stop dead in my tracks as I set down the bags and remained ready for my opposed. Just as I suspected: a demon appeared. He wasn’t very strong but he was a poison-type so I held up my guard. Taking out a rose from my hair, I called my rose whip and began slashing at it. It was down in a matter of seconds, but a strange vapor emitted from the spikes on its body, which made me feel dizzy. I clutched my head and lost my balance; soon no longer able to keep my eyes open as I fell to the ground unconscious.

Back to You:
You were up in your room reading when one of your ears perked up and began twitching. You put down your book and headed over to your window and opened it. In the distance you saw a thin purple mist of some kind and then picked up on a familiar scent; it was Kurama’s.

/No.../ you thought as you rushed down the stairs.
