Chapter 9, the Epilogue:
Far From Normal

A week had passed since the death of Suzaku. The Tantei had returned from the Makai and resumed their far from normal lives.

Kurama let Kat and Juu stay with him, although they were forced to go to school they were thankful to have a place to stay. Hiei preferred to sleep in trees, and wouldn't take Kurama's offer. Yuusuke and Kuwabara still fought, but mainly it was so people didn't think anything had become different between them

When a year had passed, Koenma called them all to Reikai, sitting in his office, grim-faced. "We've just been invited to the Dark Tournament. It's a tournament held in the Makai and every time it's held Reikai sends two teams. Kurama, Yuusuke, Hiei and Kuwabara will be on the first team, while Kat and Juu will be on the second. It's supposed to be teams of five, but you'll meet your other teammates at the Tournament, I've already sent them." Koenma nodded to Botan, "Show them to the boat."

And as they were ushered out, Juu sighed as he walked with Kat, "Not another crusade!"
