Yu Yu Hakusho: The Black Roses
Chapter 8:
Bloodfest
They charged into the hoardes of green-men, tearing them all apart. Kat's scythe decapitated while Juu stabbed others with his staff.
Within five or six minutes the last of them was slain. After it all, they stepped over to each other. Kat's robe had tiny droplets of blood on it, but besides that she wasn't too bad off.
Juu, despite being able to come out spotless, came out soaked from head to toe in the blood of the green-men. The others, except Hiei [who indeed WAS spotless], had blood in various places on their shirts and Kuwabara's pants were torn.
Juu licked one of his hands, and immediately spat the blood out, groaning in disgust, "Their blood tastes horrible!" He pouted and after lightly hugging Kat, they were off to the tower.

"Rei Gan!" Yuusuker shot a beam of Reikai at Suzaku, who simply laughed.
"Ankoku Raijin-ken*" A bolt of lightening came through a hole in the roof, heading towards the exhausted Yuusuke, when suddenly it stopped and was engulfed in shadows, dissapearing. The shadows materialized into a smirking, bloodsoaked Juu.
"Usually I'd just let you die, but you're an asset to Reikai, as much as I hate to admit it," He snapped his fingers and in walked the rest of the group, "Come, guys, let us kill some beast..."
And then they charged. Juu sent a blast of shadows surrounded by flames provided by Kat. It struck Suzaku, and while he was stunned Kurama manipulated his Rose Whip to wrap it around Suzaku, to keep him still. Hiei threw his katana at Suzaku, impaling his stomach. Kuwabara just stood their motionless, watching as Suzaku's chest was blown to bits by another Rei Gan.
Juu walked through the smoke and grabbed Suzaku's head, tearing it off. He held it over his own head, leaning back and sipping the blood merrily. He smirked as the last of the blood was drunk and threw the head away, "I've always loved the blood of a holy one..."
