Kagome witnesses her famous boyfriend of 5 years, Inuyasha, cheat on her with her twin sister, Kikyo. Sesshomaru, as well, witnesses at the same time the infidelity of his girlfriend, Kikyo and acts his usual calm and impervious self. Kagome goes through a chain of bad luck and falls into depression while Sesshomaru moves out of his house to avoid living under the same roof as his brother. Desperate, he finds Kagome's ad for a roomate and turns out to be her savior from being evicted. Over time, these two will develop an odd relationship and become close, unnoticed by them. Kagome decides to avenge her deceitful ex boyfriend and twin sister with Sesshomaru's help, that is, if he decides to help her.
