Namu is a Tomb-Robber whose family guard's the former Pharaoh's tomb. Nahkti is a theif seeking to plunder that very tomb. But on the night he succeeds, Namu survives, and Nahkti makes the boy his new servant.
Now Namu must attempt to forgive the one who slaughtered his family, at the same time battling a new whirlwind of feelings while fighting for his life.

Now, this isn’t exactly an Alternate Universe. But it has two Isises, Malik in ancient Egypt, ancient Egypt Bakura looking the same as current day Bakura, and a lot of other stuff which isn’t especially possible. It will make sense sooner or later. All you need to know now is:

1) Malik is named Namu. He's a month from his Initiation and Isis is fifteen, and instead of guarding Pharaoh Atemu’s tomb, they guard his father Akunamukanon’s
2) Bakura is a thief named Nahkti-the rest you’ll find out later
3) It’s set in Ancient Egypt, so neither Isis nor Malik have Millennium Items
4) Since Malik/Namu hasn’t had his Initiation yet, he’s still nice and doesn’t have a yami
5) High Priestess Aishisu (Isis’s previous incarnation) is the mother of Isis and Namu, but she couldn’t keep them because she got Isis through rape when she was only 11 and was betrothed when she had Namu. So right now she’s 26.
6) Mariku is a palace warrior who plans to betray the Pharaoh
7) Ryou, Yugi, his friends, Mokuba, Gozabouru, Pegasus, Kaiba Corp, etc don’t exist yet

I plan to write a sequel to this later, about how the present would be changed if the past were like this, and how everybody would react if they could see the differences between the two presents and the two pasts.
